Looks great! The scale for g I Joe's work well enough for the price. Would love to see some battle scenes with this beast in it. This would be at least $70+ is hasbro would release something similar.
50 Cal. Barrel from the 60th anniversary trooper could go nicely on the front of that thing. They also mount well on Scrap Iron’s drones for second protection when the missile bays run dry
The paint ap on the rocks in the back look nice. But if you would have made a terrain paste and used it or used pva and toilet tissue they wouldn’t look quite so man made. After you make your stones glue them down the coat with the paste or tissue then let it dry. The effect is very nice. I hope this helps. Lovin the channel.
@@thepropcollector1 we are all a big nerdy team man. At least we should be!! Also you can get some plaster at hobby lobby or such to use mix it with sand and the tissue and pva this works very well too. Or you can order sculptamold which is very cool. But if your doing just a ground use that mixture and take out the tissue. I hope I helped. And instead of buying modpodge use pva glue then mix and use it where you would mod.
@@lokiwartooth1138 great ideas 💡 bro Im gona try to do a video talking about how I worked on this dio, still have aways to go. I have added water by using blue green and black spray paint on groceries bags. Im editing a video right now about a tent and kayak that I use for Classified Figures where you can see the water.
@@raypaz2947 I watched a few videos before starting, this is my first time doing a dio like this, its not that hard just take time. Go ahead and start its ok if you make mistakes. Its very cheap anyway I used styrofoam I had laying around all I bought was paint and past. Hope this helps..
I like the color you wet with. if I was going do a paint job on the cannon. it would be a Nato Flat black color for sure or maybe a Crimson Guard colors.
@@thepropcollector1 I have a idea for Cobra Custom idea I just found on amazon. Going to buy in January. I would love to show to you some time. It will work well with 6" inch Classified figures. Have a happy New Year,
Couple of questions. First off awesome shit dude. This is kind of the type of thing Id expect to see on cobra island 100 m from the terrordome flanked by hiss tanks and vamps. And of course ashit ton of bats. This makes me want scrap iron, techno viper engineers and metal head also.! Anyways what would you do to work this into a diorama and is there any secondary you woukd add if you could or are going tp add? Ps outside of the hiss tank (not a custom)this is one of my favorite vehicles Ive seen. Thanks for showing this off!
@@thepropcollector1 Im probably getn a few of these ill try and put steps and running boards on them. But thanks for the cool stuff. Im just starting out printing, but hopefully by next year. Ill be able to make my own firures and playsets. Ps what are your wishlist figures! One last tip,for finer details since model paint can get gloppy. You can use spray paint on a brush it covers well and seldom looks doughey, clayish or overmodeled. Im a subscriber now!
@@thepropcollector1 itll be awhile on the printing,I wanna make some larger objects so will hafta make sections but hafta improve my cad work first especially with pegs and fix points, youll wanna practice on glossed paper, magazinell do. Hey, I'm trying my hand at a custom cobra firebat based on the lightyear xl14. I used rustolium plastic primer and it doesn't seem to dry fully. Any tips? Wrong paint? Finish and use clear matte coat? I think it's the same plastic as the xl15.
Try to sand it down a little, sometimes I use a fine grit sandpaper and sand down very gently the paint adheres better. I also use clear matte coat a lot of times. Thx for stopping by 👍🏻
Wow, you took a completely cartoon-looking Disney toy and turned it into an awesome Cobra custom. Love it!
Thanks bro!
