Tom how long do you typically send the birds up the ramp before sending them up on the uncovered ramp? when do you start moving back farther from the loft.
I have had mine going up the covered ramp for a couple of weeks mostly 2 times a day. They seem to go up pretty quickly, especially when a little hungry.
I look forward to the videos keep up the good work.
    thanks John B

Hey bud, you want them hungry and as soon as they are quickly going up the ramp to food, I had birds flying to the loft, no tunnel, no ramp, in about a week. I will post an update video this weekend and talk about it.

Hey Tom copying your idea with the ramp, how many times do you run them through it before moving your each next step? I’ve run mine through three day and I’m thinking four more days and I move onto the ramp without the wire but would love you to hear your thought process

Hi! Really depends on how they act. Once they are running up the tunnel switch to the ramp. 4 days should do it. I would cut back on the feed that last day in the tunnel so they are extra hungry first time on the ramp. Keep them hungry two days on the ramp. Then let them fly to the loft. Add the feed back a little more each feeding. I feed once a day. Then slowly start moving the crate further and further. I would go baby steps. Robertson’s birds last year were flying to the loft by day five or six. They do need to be a little on the hungry side first couple times out of the tunnel. Good luck 👍
