Very thoughtful and kind for you to do this for an elderly person. I'm 76 and had a fall over a year ago (trying to fix gate so my dog couldn't get out) and had to have back surgery. Still haven't recovered from it completely as I have to use walker part of time due to hurting so badly I'm unable to walk with assistance. Hopefully this lady wasn't injured too bad. Thank you for helping her and her husband. Sure it's appreciated.

We live on a dead end street with elderly people etc., ~ I always try to snow blow all the sidewalks and their driveways. We haven’t had any snow large enough this season to use my snowblower. It’s awfully nice that you, as well. help your elderly neighbors.
You are awesome to clear these Seniors driveways!! Critical feedback from a Minnesotan here. Get better shovels for yourselves (I thought they were going to break under that heavy wet snow) and salt for them for their driveways under ice (don't want them to slip and fall). Great work!

This must be an old one as I thought you lived out in the country on several acres of land. Yes this was the kind thing to do for your neighbour who needed some help. I’m Canadian where snow blowers are very common to use in the winter. It’s also common for those with snow blowers to help their neighbours by clearing away the snow for them. One would never think of charging money for it. We’d pay a kid if he offered to shovel the snow as that’s a healthy way for them to make a little money. Expect that was very appreciated.

If I could do it I would too. There was a time when we did all the older persons on the block too. It is just what you do.

At 71 and disabled, I with someone would help me out! It’s been snowing for 7 days and I’m barely keeping up with just the small porch and 3 stairs I have. I need to keep them clean as I have a 15 yr old dog whose back legs aren’t working well. I had one person dig out the front of my drive on Sunday, but it’s a mess again.
Well, I order a battery powered snowblower. It light weight but that dang thing go through the snow. Had about 12 inches of snow. It took me about 30 minutes. Started in the center and worked my way out to the sides. Turning 70 this year. But still playing in the snow. 😊
I can't shovel like that anymore. We have had a snowblower for 38 yrs. Finally bought a new one 2 yrs ago. Even with a snowblower, there are always places to be done by hand .
