Andrew was awesome, I'm impressed with how consistently straight his ball launch is, I would love to have that swing ability. FYI, Titlelist TSR2 drivers can be had on sale in the US for $450, still more than many of us can justify, but the results it provided Andrew are amazing.
@@3frogltd987 _"FYI, Titlelist TSR2 drivers can be had on sale in the US for $450, still more than many of us can justify, but the results it provided Andrew are amazing."_ That is nuts to me to pay $450 for a driver (at least right now and until I change my gender to: Rich and Retired), I am struggling to justify using up gas and going to look at Goodwill for a ~$5 driver, lol.
Had me glued to see him hit all the drivers , was hoping for the surprise gifting him the TITLEIST. He deserved it....one of the best real world testing out there Brandon...well done mate
I’ve been saving 50 bucks per paycheck to do a fitting next year. After watching this I can see how important it is now. Thanks Andrew for being someone who represent myself for this video.
I am in London, UK and for the past few years have downloaded and printed off a sheet for something called the Penny Challenge. It consists of on day one, which can be any day you choose to start but I usually use 1st January each year, putting 1 pence/1 penny/1p in a jar, tin or whatever and then marking it off on the printed sheet. You then put in 2p in on day two, 3p on day three (don't worry, I will not type up all 365 days) so that by day 365 you have close to £700. The sheets are available online in other currencies like dollars too and you can even save in reverse by putting in £3.65 on the first day and work backwards so it gets easier as the days go by, or if after each day you have an odd total of coins in your pocket like say £1.28, then you can jump to the day you should be marking off that figure or mark off several days that add up to £1.28. Here in the UK we have Poundland stores where everything (used to) cost £1 and I buy a sealed metal money box tin with a slot in the top and use a tin opener to open it when it is full. I am sure that there are similar stores in Canada and America too like Dollar Stores and then I take the coins to a coin counter machine at one of the banks I use, but any container will do, it is just that the sealed tin helps with not dipping into it for loose change. If you have young kids, you can even get them involved by allowing them to put the coins into the slots and mark off the days on the sheet, plus if they enjoy it then you can threaten to make them miss a day or days if they play up a bit. There are other sheets too where you save random figures like £3, £20, £12, £32 a time that you mark off in the order of your choice, that comes to around £1000 over the course of a year when all amounts are marked off.
I’m a Professional Clubfitter (33 years experience, including more than 15 years working on the PGA and Champions Tours), and I think that this is one of the best fitting videos that I have seen on UA-cam! I would also rate the Titleist driver #1 among those tested here, with the TaylorMade at #2, just barely edging out the Ping 10K.
Andrew was dope. Seems like a real dude, and his attitude towards the game is probably 70% of people out there. Love the game, the feel, the mental part of it, but it can get too expensive. So is all about pacing yourself and your waller. I also love the way you help him out and hype him up. You can see his confidence going up through the video.
seriously, this was the best driver video I have ever watched. This guy has way more potential as a player than the average 18-20 handicap. It was obvious that you know how to help players with equipment and technique.
Awesome vid!!! Only thing is he doesn't need to spend money on a new driver. Last years model or even a 2 year old used driver will fit his budget. You spend the money to go get fit then go buy last years driver with the same shaft. He probably would hit the Titliest TSi just as good. Or the stealth 2 or the Ping G425. I did the same thing. The dark speed was the best in my fitting. Payed for the fitting and then went and found a good condition aerojet driver and put the same shaft in it. Very little difference. Upgraded shaft and all. For me, next year, the dark speed will depreciate 200 bucks or more( its a cobra) ill upgrade to the darkspeed i was fitted for and sell the aerojet. Do your research and ya save a bundle.
As someone who plays at the similar handicap level as Andrew, I really enjoyed this driver testing session. You should definitely get him back in the simulator, maybe an iron and/or fairway wood session 👍
Andrew is a chill dude, and he’s like the majority of us(me especially) it’s refreshing to see a weekend warrior. The channel can definitely grow if he’s on more.
There's something just so satisfying about watching your vids of fitting high-handicappers 😂... Recently got the Cobra Aerojet Max because of one of your older vids, and I've been STRIPING it down the fairway. Also got fitted for some Mizuno JPX 923 HM irons, and I can't wait for them to arrive. My dispersion on the mizuno irons was sooo tight
Man! A tryout that many of us can relate... to see pros swinging the same club 105+mph carry 280+ yards is not a good benchmark for most golfers when testing "forgiving" drivers. Good job and good idea. I'd be curious to follow up with Andrew, fitting irons, wedges... and a review on performance by the end of the season!
Andrew is a legend! I love data videos over 'in my opinion' videos. Its not like the opinion is not based on years of experience by professionals. its just that it is soo much easier to appreciate when the audience gets to see it happen live...
Great video, great fitting. Amazing you had all the manufacturers. Most guys don't have all models. Great that price was part of the conversation. Plus taxes your looking at almost 1k for one club. Crazy amount for anyone to spend. Just off the shelf is a crazy decision for that money. Great video and information. Thank
Really enjoyed this video. I'm a similar handicap and find it much more relatable than watching a 115 mph golfer test low spin drivers that I'll get no benefit from. Subscribed.
My fitted Ping G430 driver and two hybrids are arriving Monday. Indeed, the Ping is very forgiving. Like many others, I really enjoyed Andrew and this video.
I was also hitting about where this guy was hitting as far as his skill level and I also got fit for the ping g430 but I was fit for the ping g430 ls and it has drastically helped my game.
That was very cool 😎 , again ! Second time I've watched this ! Hope you bring Andrew on again , after he has made a decision and played a few months ! Love you're posts ! 🍁 🇨🇦
Awesome fitting. I love seeing mid handicap fittings. That us regular weekend golfers can relate to the fitting instead of 120 mph swing speed fittings.
Andrew, I had a fitting and got so wowed by the numbers, I said "Yes" to the big buck clubs. I have regretted it ever since. Kudos to you for sticking to your budget and saving some money for green fees. It's much more fun actually playing the game than it is looking at expensive clubs sitting in the garage.
Excellent that you actually used a high handicapper to test the drivers rather than professionals. I am a mid handicapper and I use a Callaway Rogue. Rather than changing the driver I will test a few shafts before I decide. Great video and thanks
Great video the difference you can see with a high handicapper is stark compared to a pro with the different options. Good driver tip too. Shaft is key , maybe the shaft with the Titleist suited Andrew best.
Awesome to see mid-high handicap player perform your driver testing. Just goes to show how important it is to get fitted into clubs that tailor to your swing. Thanks for the video!
I’m a beginner. Taking lessons and a fitting down the line. Just wanted to give a hats off to you for a great channel. I learned a lot by watching this video. Keep up the great work. You have a nice presence, communicate clearly without too many words and deliver a nice edited product. While most are obvious, I would love to see a quick touch on what all the data metrics mean and how to affect them.
Really interesting thanks, my miss was a pull hook too but I changed from a stiff to an X flex shaft (£50 on eBay) and now they just go straight or fade, it’s a revaluation play the course from the right hand side as all the trouble is down the left where I play golf 👍😂
Great video and comparison of drivers. Definitely have Andrew or other high handicappers back for testing. I love the swing tips and info on the loft adjustment. Continued Success-Thanks
Good job Andrew well done Thats alot of balls to hit not sure i could do that lol Brandon i totally agree with you narrowed down to three Titleist / Ping / Taylormade would be my choices well done video cheers from Vulcan Canada
I enjoy watching your show. I have played them all. The best Drivers for me are Titleist, Taylor Made, and Ping. Irons are, Ping, Titleist, and Taylor Made. Putters Scotty Cameron, Ping, Titleist. I live in Asia and play with caddies here. Most of my friends here play the Gold Honma and Mizuno Drivers. To me the driver is key to a good round. My wife plays Honmas.
After seeing that data I respect his self control to not immediately buy either the Ping or Titleist. It wasn’t even my fitting and I’m contemplating eating canned soup for a month to afford the Ping
I've got the same swing speed as Andrew, and use a A flex, in my Ping G430, with a 47" shaft. After seeing this I'm going to try a stiff shaft. Thanks for the tip
This video made me a subscriber! Very well done and timely for me as I’m a 20 handicap and in market for a new driver. After years away from golf I just got fitted for irons and ended up with Paradym Ai smoke HL, but waited for a bit on a driver because the price of them is shocking, and I wanted to do some research first. Maybe a trip down to Calgary is in order …
This was amazing - one day when i get a fitting or walk into a golf shop with the intent of buying a new driver.. i hope i get an indepth experience like this and can confidently make a decision on what bests for me
I bought new clubs this year, for the first time in over two decades. Went to a local golf shop for a fitting. Ended up getting a whole new set of Ping G430s (Irons 4-W, Driver, 3 and 5 woods). Golf season just starting where I live, but I've gone out a few times. I love these clubs. I can see why he hit the G430 10K Max so well. It's a great forgiving club.
Awesome stuff. Very cool to see such great off the rack results with trials. As a viewer that was great content. You might have Andrew in more videos for the off the rack clubs in the rest of the bag? The varying results of the drivers was surprisingly drastic to me. The stock Titleist and Taylormade were crazy good and so much better than the rest for him. Andrew should definitely put that Titleist driver on his birthday list. 3,000 likes and youtube should give that man that Titleist driver! Fair to say Titleist took #1. Why do you suppose he leaned toward the ping as a second place over the QI? It seemed to me like better results with the QI over the Ping and it is less expensive.
I got a G425 two weeks ago and I can hit it on the toe and the ball will start a little right and draw back into the fairway. Pretty amazing to watch the club work as advertised.
I think I'm going to go with a QI10 Max next year once the sales come out, as a fellow high handicapper, thanks to this! Replacing my 2013 Callaway XHot haha.
Great work Andrew! Love the improvements in just this fitting! I’m currently looking for a new driver and am torn between the TSR2 and the QI10 Max….have played both recently during rounds and both have been pretty great at hitting fairways. Today I used the QI10 and I wanted to not like it cause I find it quite big and shiny compared to the sleek TSR2….but it hardly missed a fairway and I never got any big fades esp. into the wind (my scary miss). The TSR2 gave me a few right misses the day before….. I may have my answer…..
I like Andrew's swing, attitude, everything. Golf is an expensive sport and it's gotten crazy expensive. I like the idea of working on changing the shaft in his current driver over buying a new one . I liked the Titleist too but i don't think I would get much more out of it than maybe a shaft change in the Cleveland driver that I have in the bag now.
This is definitely interesting. I’m swinging an Adams XTD I bought used. It’s probably 10 years old. I’m sure there’s yardage I’m leaving in the table not having a newer driver head.
It's an excellent video! Andrew has a good swing and wore himself out on that test. Impressive results on how different drivers performed. Titleist is a fantastic driver, and the tech is a year older than all the other brands - look out for their 10K forgiveness one coming out this fall 😮
Let’s go Andrew!! Great job on just seeing the improvement with a couple little tweaks and some modern tech. Lightyears of improvement, his buddies won’t be helping him look for his ball much longer.
I just subscribed to your channel after watching this video. The BEST video of a normal guy(even though he is Canadian 😀) that I have seen. I hope he can get a new driver! Thanks Note- I could almost throw a rock across the border, got relatives in Canada.
Love for you to do a old Vs new irons review and talk about the differences in lofts and how it's affected the height etc. I'm playing 20 year old nikes that I love but I'm probably losing a ton of yardage with my 47° PW for example
For sure regarding the Wilson, they immediately dropped it, yet it had one real bad hit, then the other 9 within the +/- 25 yds left right so on the fairway. His dispersion was then 240-280 yard distance
I will say that sound is why I got my Cobra F7 driver over all the other ones I tried. I came into the store expecting to walk out with a Taylormade M2. I hit it, and hated the pingy sound it made. Call away Big Bertha or Epic (can’t remember) made this doing sound which I really hated. Picked up the F7 Cobra and it just sounded sharp and beautiful. Now I’m a cobra guy with almost all cobra clubs. Never would’ve guessed that.
Great swing for a guy who doesn't play that much . Toward the end , the worst shots were when he really came out of his shoes . I wish I could get those dispersion results. Excellent job with the fitting.
If I were Andrew and concerned about price point as much as he is... I would say thanks for the informative session, give Brandon a nice tip for his effort then walk out of there and go straight to Costco to get the new Kirkland driver. Aren't they getting sued by Titleist right now b/c their driver is so much like the TSR? Maybe you could have let him hit the new Tour Edge driver as a cheaper option if you guys sell that one. Great video again as always. Thank you for the content!
“I don't hear it echoing through the mountains.” A man after my own heart. I love the new carbon fiber drivers. But there is a nostalgia to the titanium heads that sound like a gun shot when you really hit it.
Great video. Loved all even the subtle tips given through the video. It was super helpful of maybe you don't need a new driver but a shaft. Or adjust the loft. I will definitely give that a shot at the range. Testing my stiff vs regular shaft and loft angles. Thank you for the great video!!
Do it !! Bring Andrew back let’s see the progress !!!
Adding to this
Thirded!
Bring back Andrew, I love his attitude and his humor.

100% thought so too
I’ve been saving 50 bucks per paycheck to do a fitting next year. After watching this I can see how important it is now. Thanks Andrew for being someone who represent myself for this video.
Could you not just finance it at £50 a month 🤷🏼♂️🤯
A fitting is 100 bucks usually and most shops take it off of your purchase. If you are in Canada, golftown and Golftec are the big boys.
@@CharlotteK2008the 50 dollar per paycheck is going towards a full set up. I have a really good set right now so I’m in no rush.

I liked the Titleist too but i don't think I would get much more out of it than maybe a shaft change in the Cleveland driver that I have in the bag now.
love the vid!
I wanted to see the old driver with a new shaft tho!! maybe that was the answer!
Thank you. Could be. I got him a stiff shaft to test out on the course. We will see if he sees improvements.
Hope we get an update if he does
This is definitely interesting.
Thank you! He really does. Ya I'm curious what Titleist has up its sleeve. 🍻
More high handicap videos man these at bringing me so much joy to watch
Thanks! Will definitely have more higher handicappers on. 🙏
Finally some high handicapper content, great video!
Thanks! 🍻
Let’s go Andrew!! Great job on just seeing the improvement with a couple little tweaks and some modern tech. Lightyears of improvement, his buddies won’t be helping him look for his ball much longer.
Great video! Definitely bring Andrew back, I think some of his lower numbers he was just getting tired / winded.
Nice to see a good video from an average joe. Definitely 2 thumbs up
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. 🍻
I just subscribed to your channel after watching this video. The BEST video of a normal guy(even though he is Canadian 😀) that I have seen. I hope he can get a new driver! Thanks Note- I could almost throw a rock across the border, got relatives in Canada.
Thanks! Appreciate it! You have to come visit! 🇨🇦 🦫🥞 Haha
Love for you to do a old Vs new irons review and talk about the differences in lofts and how it's affected the height etc. I'm playing 20 year old nikes that I love but I'm probably losing a ton of yardage with my 47° PW for example
Would also love to see what you could do with his current driver or the Wilson to give some more affordable options
For sure regarding the Wilson, they immediately dropped it, yet it had one real bad hit, then the other 9 within the +/- 25 yds left right so on the fairway. His dispersion was then 240-280 yard distance
Bring my boy Andrew back! As a high handicapper myself, I would love to see his progress
Best video iv seen in a long time and honest just found your channel easy sub
Thank you! Appreciate you. 🙏
Great video, proving the point of fitting. Well done!
This guy can drive the ball well done
Andrew was awesome man! Seriously. Was hoping to see you surprise gift him that titelist.
Great swing for a guy who doesn't play that much . Toward the end , the worst shots were when he really came out of his shoes . I wish I could get those dispersion results. Excellent job with the fitting.
Great video, I currently hit a TSR 2 as well and love the ball flight and forgiveness.
Thank you. Ya its a great driver.
Let’s go Doobie! If u know,u know. Solid review boys. Haven’t watched one of these in a while.
Thanks for coming back 👊🏻
Great fitting, Andrew must be some happy. Should knock at least 10 off his hdcp. I would love to see Andrew come back! Thanks
for the awesome video.
Thank you. Appreciate it. Will definitely try to get him back on.
Great video. thanks. Maybe consider omitting 1 miss hit on each driver in the final comparison. It would be interesting to see.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I used to do that in some of my older videos and people didn't like it. Haha.
This is my favorite fitting video of all time
Thank you. 🙏
Really enjoyed this session. 👌
Love this - need to do this!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. 🙏
