- I listened to every dark track in the audio library so you don't have to. These are my top picks for dark, moody, broody, witchy and spooky music to play casually in the background. From personal experience, they lend themselves very well to reading spooky stories on livestreams - not least because they are 100% free to use. Has anyone else had an issue with the song "Spirit of Fire"? Everything else in this playlist sounds amazing, but that one song sounds harsh on some of the notes. Like, as if its shrieking the highet tunes.
