Wished I lived close by to be your assistant, loving the build so far. I have a '99 911 I want to strip and spray something other than the factory silver of that year.
That would be fun! You can pick up 2K clear at almost any auto paint shop, and it gives great results. I'm going to be doing my Panamera front bumper soon.
@@rennch. The two I had in my possession were bent pretty badly. I worked out a refund with the seller but I lost a significant amount on shipping expenses. I do have another wheel deal cooking though which are just as cool as the MOMOs!
Great progress. However, one thing, I seen you sometimes use a cutoff wheel on your grinder as a grinding disk. I really think that might be a bad practice and eventually could result in the cutoff disk exploding. Likewise you have no guard on the grinder for the cutoff disk (neither do I) but I think you might be encouraging the cutoff wheel make a very bad day for you. Google cutoff wheel exploding and be careful.

This Porsche somehow has a level of crispy metal underneath that was surprising for me. Never expected that.
Yeah the Covid year sucked - big b@lls - We were trapped without projects for a looong time. Always love your work man.
Nice work mate. More people should be watching :-)
Thanks for the videos! Grinding metal = always entertaining.
Thanks for watching!! Ha ha!
Another fine video from Rennch. I take the inspiration from You, that You don't need to be a wizard, just be patient and persistent! Love Your videos.
Thanks Ole! Plugging away over here!
The build is coming along nicely! Looking forward to driving up one day to check it in person!
