The Terminator 2 sunglasses are not Ray-Ban, they are Persol Ratti 58230. They have slimmer frame and more curved in the upper side, drawing like an "eyebrow silhouette". The difference in the thickness is very visible in the bridge.
I got my hands on a vintage pair of these a few months ago in good condition. one scratch on the lens and a few scuffs on the frame. The build is much better as it is made from acetate, and the fit is better too, although slightly snug. The current ones hook around the head, whereas the vintage ones hook behind the ear.
I had a pair of these in the 90's. I loved them. I'm no longer a Ray Ban guy, but if you are and want wrap around from Ray Ban these are great!
The T2 sunglasses were Persol but very similar and much more expensive.
I just bought a pair, along with the original wayfarer. Terminator 2 and one of my favorite singers, Layne Staley (R.I.P), were the reasons why I needed a pair of Predator 2 sunglasses.
Same man, Layne was an OG Ray Ban guy
Arnold actually wore the Persol Ratti 58230 and Layne Staley wore Ray Ban Balorama RB4089 (or at least the ones that B&L made), so did Ace Ventura and Dirty Harry.
Do you suggest getting the Grey Mirror lenses or the Green lenses

PS: You could compare them with the Ray Ban Balorama 4089, they are very similar and do not have a review on UA-cam! They were used at Ace Ventura, Goodfellas by Henry Hill and Christian Bale at Ford v Ferrari!

I have a pair of the polarized original RB2030's. They look a bit different. If you look at the ones from the original MIB film, the frames are a glossy black and don't have the rim or brow on top, they're smoother. Those are the real deal. The 2030's. Predator 2's (RB2027)are not exactly the same as what K & J wore. Similar, but not what they wore in the movie.
You look like agent Smith in these! I bough these frames on Glasses USA with prescription lenses. They feel flimsy, not what I'm used to with Ray Ban. I'm trying to figure out if my frame is the real deal or not.
Hmmm these definitely don’t feel at all flimsy
these types of sunglasses are best for driving. Good to have in the glovebox

The ones u bought are not Polarised. I stopped wearing them. I bought the Polarised pair, but I dont know if they have uv protection plus the polarised benefits.
Every pair of real ray bans have 100% UVA and UVB protection
@@ShadeReview why thank you for the feedback. I bought my none Polarised pair off of Amazon which looked a bit off and my polarised pair off of the ray ban website. Do u think amazon could sell fake ray bans as well? I honestly thought my none Polarised pair we're fake after I got my 2nd pair because these are much higher quality and also are heavier
