I would suggest cutting a piece to cap the ends of the wings where they are open. I do this on my regular sized Scouts and it really cleans up the looks (and probably the aero as well).
how come on the plans that were on the forum only half of the wing is there, not the bit taht folds underneath

They're on the FliteTest forums.
There are no plans for this SBK version of the Scout XL, as yet. BUT there are plans for a 155% scaled up version of the original Simple Scout on the FT Forum.
@@AddictedRC Bixler started with those and made a few mods. Hopefully those will be updated onto the plans on the forums.
