less than 40 seconds in, commentators go "Sephiroth has a mediocre recovery". Did you smoke or something? Not on par with Pikachu and G&W? yeah definitely. Mediocre? Not even close to mediocre. It's actually pretty good with a fully charged Up-B, and often you can count on the One Winged Angel's extra jump. Richter got a mediocre recovery. Pyra/Mythra. Wolf. Etc. Sephiroth's recovery is perfectly good although it's not ridiculous.
Bro the sephiroth matchup is so hard with lucina! Like how do you cut through sephiroths range?! What I've tried to do it be patient and move about safely and punish mistakes when I can but then it comes to offstage i can't edge guard them.😖 Then I try to ledge trap but I always commit too hard or tunnel vision on one thing I saw my opponent do.
The only thing that stops me from watching all your videos is the 5 ads per video. I understand you tryna make money but maybe after every other game instead ?
Smash ultimate commentators actually at an all time low of knowing anything about the game, amount of ignorance about characters is astounding. Like this is literally your job. 1. "Sephiroth recovery is mediocre" 2. "the up b didn't spike so if Mr. E had Di'd it he would have lived" 3. "I haven't seen ledge play like this from any other Sephiroth" First of all Sephiroths recovery is great, exceptional with one wing, the up b kills in that situation no matter Di and it actually doesn't spike, lastly, sephiroth is all about planking and getting off ledge for free Do some damn research!
So dashing back, jumping back with every aerial and pivot tilt with Seph ain’t passive? Get real! I like both characters. I like Seph more than Lucina. But Ned wasn’t aggressive this set. Except that one sick time he did that air combo into Octoslash going down.
@@tinyt.w.i.m7291 I don't think he was talking about a character issue, it's a player issue. Mr E messed up for playing passively against a character like Sephiroth

Dang that game 4 ending wowwwwwe
Ned put on a highlight reel at the end of game 4. That was super clutch
That conversion at 21:02 was god-like.
That was so sick
I inhaled like Kirby watching that!
NED MAKING SEPHIROTH LOOK * GODLIKE * from 1437 Ultimate when? 😂
I literally screamed.
21:07 was the most simultaneously sick and optimal thing I have ever seen in my life.

Mr. E: "Yea boys, I got this in the ba-... why do I hear boss music?"
**Gregorian chanting intensifies**
Daaaamn I love Sephiroth so much for stuff like this. End of game 4 was insane.
Woooooooooow. Damn I thought E had that in the bag looking cleaaaaan. Then Sephiroth happened… 😳
It’s surprising most people say PT has an advantage over Lucina
*Ned making Sephiroth look GODLIKE*
The play from Ned around 21:00 was a huge gamble that paid off
It wasn't really a gamble. If you were watching Lucina you saw the air Dodge. I'm sure that's what ned reacted to.

Jesus, the end of game 4 was the ballsiest thing I’ve seen in a good while. Hat’s off to Ned

Pretty sure they were talking in the context of the matchup bc it's fairly expolitable by Lucina
Mr. E has amazing movement; I'm glad to see him getting this far in recent brackets.
game 4 was insane actually
Lord this game is so good
The most entertaining Sephiroth player I've ever watched. Such great games!
aight. Ned's Sephiroth's GOT IT
What an insane set. E played well but goddamn Ned is a beast
That was some impressive gameplay by Ned. That Up B to force game 5 was clutch.

One-Winged Angel moment
21:02 HOLY FUCKING SHIT
Ned activated edgelord power for the win
1:41 I keep my grass cut to keep out the snakes is the wisdom that should be passed on for generations
FLAWLESS Seph gameplay from Ned
I wonder if 21:00 was a true combo or Mr. E just stopped playing the game, I mean he didn't press any buttons at all.
I just tried it I think everything is true except the back air mr.e just kinda slept mid combo
E probably did not want to Di out just in case the back air hit him cause that Di would have killed him really early
He tried to jump out but his Jump was caught, leaving him with very little options after the back air. BIG MISTAKE.
Those four nairs were indeed true. It’s a tight combo that was executed quite well. For the up b Ned reacted to the air dodge
14:33 I didn’t know sephiroth had tetrakarn
21:00 Read him like a book beautiful
Spoilers
The reverse 3-0 from Ned was hype also the ending of game 4 was awesome
Damn I know Mr E felt like shit about that one 😭
That clutch In game 4 though 🔥 🔥
Why the fuck didn't they make midwest a separate SWT qualifying region instead of combining midwest and northeast?
That final stock of game 4, omg. 😱
Okay Ned's Sephiroth just got sauce, idk what else to say, amazing play

Because he is beautiful and a gift from god
good lord did Ned cook him at the end of Game 4 and onward.
that first sephy last stock... gold
YOOOO nes is the ultimate CHAD
4:20 Put that line out of context
Lol one of the commentators was a huge Ned fan apparently
Lol I was confused and I think mr e was too he like nah he can’t jump 3 times oh shit he can one winged angel
Holy shit brou, the P2W clutch is real.
The commentator Logic salty AF that MR E lost

Mr. E could of easily won if he did the Sephiroth ditto RIP.
No, he dropped Sephiroth for a good while.
