The first version of it that I made way back in 1.6 also didn't have them (that includes heli engines, bc gyros didnt exist yet), but that was because I didn't know how to make a stabiliser. All of it was done using seat controls, and was very unreliable. Despite all that, I took it to Yzuei's air show video, and crashed it twice. LOL
Halfway through the build process the aero blocks in the wings wouldn't hinge, so I connected them with those on a whim in an attempt to "merge" their weld groups. Worked a charm, no idea if it still needs them.
It is a form of weld merging, admittedly I don't understand it that well. During the construction there was a point where the modular wings would refuse to angle into the center block of the wings. When I added the trailer hinge thingy to it, it started working again. I've no clue if it still needs them.
@yeetifyrs_ if this really works as merging weld groups, this is quite a discovery. I use a lot of glitches to build in this game to get the forms I need. I run into this issue a lot and have to make sacrifices at times or a complete redesign of the creation. I’m going to give this a shot. Thank you for this tip.

@@cosmictheif4669 I get it now. You mean at 28:13. That is a logic gate with a right click key bind. At the time of making this video, it was not possible to bind things to right click without a funky method that involves a controller that I don't understand. So instead, a guy called Noiro1 put it in an OR gate and posted it on the workshop. Whenever I needed the right mouse button, I would just pull that 2x1 into the build.
If you have to use gyros to fix most of your builds, you dont understand the physics well enough. Building something with no gyros isnt hard, other stabilization systems can actually be better.
