Wayfarer sailing 2018 October 28th Dragør/Denmark W1348

I popped over the sound from Malmö/Sweden to Dragør/Denmark to sail with Ken in his Wayfarer W1348 "Maitken". Was a very cold and windy day, but were both well dressed up for it. Beautiful day, with sleet and light rain and sun. Its always a pleasure sailing with Ken.

Hello and thank you for the comment. Ken is a big fan of roller reefing, I might be wrong but I believe it was the original setup for the Wayfarer back in the days. Also he loves talking about his boat so could happen. I like your W-videos!

I have a similar boat, a Tanzer 16 and she has roller reefing too! It works great. I also sail without a motor. Very impressive video.

have they got a Ballest Keel they look steady or was that the Skill of the Skippa , I might look into some thing like this

@@briansmythe3219 No ballast. The main is reefed and the jib unrolled. Common sense and experience.
