I hear you on this. I thought I had two real ones as my day ones but they changed and I don’t really don’t to them anymore. I’m down to zero friends myself.
My advice is never lend people money. When you lend people money they will start avoiding you if they can't pay you back and you are going to lose your friend. Your friendships are about sharing moments and having a good time. Don't let money get in the way. For example if someone is asking to barrow money $100, just gift/give the some money no strings attached. It doesn't have to be the whole amount. It could just be $20. Then you are going to see if they are really friends. Are they going to come back over and over asking for more money? Are they going to pay you back? If they can't pay your gift back, it's fine. You can still be friends but don't involve money. If they get jealous of your money and success then you are better off finding new friends that you can call on. Don't let people hold you down.
A friend is when they see you in need, and you don't have to ask them, and don't hear them talk about you. I learned one thing Jesus said it wouldn't hurt so bad if it was my enemy, but it was my on. Theirs very, very few who would be there for you. Theirs one I can depend, and talk to, his name is Jesus. lots people don't believe he exists. Stay strong my lady. I feel you're a awesome lady.
Why are you looking for validation from other ppl? Don’t ever rely on ppl, forget about friends, ur own siblings or other relatives. You’re the only person u can rely on. I remember when I broke my leg while I was a new trucker and had to rent a car one way to get home, I asked my older sister to help me take the rental to the airport when I got home, she played me of and went about her business, then I went to my older brother and asked him to help me drop the rental of, again he played me of too, I had to call taxi and bring me back from the airport. That experience helped me understand that everyone is out on their own in this world, the faster u understand that concept the better ur life is gonna be.
