I was a freight broker agent I seen the numbers on top from the shipping company, some of the brokers under the agency was taking 30-60% off top in some cases then we also have Mega brokerage companies TQL,CHR,JPR…. Take cheap rates form their customers They set the Standard for the entire industry then they have to make money so they take a percentage and then the tuckers are hauling it for nothing big vicious cycle
I went and purchased my own truck paying $250k for that Magari truck was ridiculous that company is complete rip-off and I'm glad I left when I did. Like I said they took all of my escrow. Now I understand why they have such a high turnover with drivers, I should have paid attention to all of the red flags I saw in the beginning. Oh well you live you learn and you laugh.
