I honestly thought Drolta might betray Erzsebet when she realizes from seeing Annette that the goddess that possessed her is the true goddess and not the one Drolta was serving under
its neither, if you watch the final episode, you could see there are 3 figures ( Sekhmet) heading back to the temple as Annette leaving that realm. The true goddess is when those 3 figures or parts or entities or whatever you wanna call it, reunited to be its final form.
@@rio20dBefore Sekhmet takes the rest of her soul back from Drolta, she realizes the real Sekhmet is actually the Good Soul which was using Annette as a vessel. Its the one she initially praised before turning to her Ba and Ka.
The only reason why the story has taken such a twist is that Drolta has become a fan favorite of the audience. She immediately became the main star of season 1 and strangely enough many fans didnt like the fact that she'd died so easily and fast. Also, during her intro, many fans thought she was the goddess Messiah thus it makes perfect sense Erzsebet has now been casted aside. Drolta has definitely been determined in welcoming Sekmet back into the living world But now that her blood has matured in within Erzsebet, its only makes sense that she claims it for herself.
Poor Erszebeth, she was evil and Destructiv but she had a Heart for Drolta. Drolta did used her like Toys, giving her all the Power and Options in the World that Erszebeth could have ever dreamed. Only to be thrown away like Trash once Drolta saw that she had failed all her expectations. Even if she was a Tyrant and a Monster, she still loved her only Friend. Being betrayed by Drolta was like a stab in her Heart. At the End, Erszebeth died one of the Sadest Deaths in the Series. Alone, in Pain and Heart Broken. And yes multiple Castlevania Villains died Alone but they didnt feel this Pain that she did feel. She died at the Hands of the closest and only Friend she possible ever had. A Fascinating Conclusion to such a cool and intresting Villain
@@hawttchocolate Not exactly, Erszebeth and Drolta had more than a Slave and Master Relationship. Both had the same Goal they wanted to reach and in Season 1 and 2, there are a lot of intresting Scenes were both are more like close Friends with even the Fact that Erszebeth even did begin to cry and searched for ways to bring Drolta back to her. Erszebeth was Powerful engouth to continue everything that happend in Season 2 without Drolta, she did know everything and she had the knowlege. But there is the Problem for me, if she was only a Servant and nothing then why being Sad about it and most of all, try everything to ressurect her? The Answer is easy to see. In the Flashbacks in Season 2, we do find out that Erszebeth was trapped in a Tower with her one Room to Keep her there for the Rest of her Life. Every Human would go crazy because even for a Tyrant like Erszebeth, its Pain having nobody. Drolta gave her everything, a Home, New Abilitys, Strengh and most of them all, not only a Kingdom but also a Friend that she can relate. Both were treated by the World because of how they are like Monsters and both were extremly Alone too. There is also the Fact that Drolta and Erszebeth are working together for at least 200 Years without toxic behavior to each other. This is not only engouth time to build a Vampire Kingdom but its also a long time of Building up Trust and Friendship. Thats also why Erszebeth was so Shocked when Drolta called her a Monster and took her Powers. Drolta did not betray her because of Planing it from the Start. She was more disgusted from the Fact that she did spend time with a Creature that couldnt live to the expectations that she was searching for. And when she couldnt live up to this, she was thinking and you can see it, that Drolta is making a Choice for herself. Her Options, drop the Person that gave her a meaning in life and take the Power or Fly her to Safety. She did choice to take the Power but you can see still even in the Moment were Drolta did begin to disrespect Erszebeth, she is still listening what Drolta is saying and was in Shock and Fear for the First Time because she was betrayed by the closest Person she had in life for over 200 Years
@xenoboy7828 she struck drolta the minute she expressed that ersabet was not see sekhmet. You don't hit friends. You do hit slaves. You do realize ersebet was locked in that tower for being psychopathic servant killer right? She cried over drolta because without drolta she had no idea how to reach godhood. She was completely lost. She cared for drolta only in extension of herself.
Don’t forget, she’s based on Elizabeth Báthory. One of the most evil women in history who mutilated and murdered countless girls and women. Ironically she was so vile and frightening that it’s rumoured she inspired Bram Stoker himself when he wrote Dracula.
@@robbieking4070 Most historians believe those are just crass rumors and rewritten history with the intent to paint her in a bad light for being a woman in a position of power during the time.
I suspected drolta planned to betray her when she noted how tired erzsebet was after the 1st eclipse - it came across as if she were really saying “don’t disappoint me”
Remember, true mastery lies in advising the ruler on the throne while remaining in the shadows. Sidious failed because he chose to sit on the throne rather than wield power from the darkness. Villains thrive in the shadows but are consumed by the light.
@ Sidious was never caught for being the one who instigated the Clone Wars. He was defeated because the Rebel Alliance and many worlds see him as a dick and a terrible ruler. If he was in the shadows controlling a puppet emperor, Sidious would have never been caught.
In the end, Drolta was no better than the Bishop from the first series. It's good to see that fanaticism isn't just relegated Christianity; actually it's important to see that anyone can become the anti-thesis of their own beliefs.
I knew the whole time Drolta was gonna do this the whole time she was just stroking her ego that way she could take the power for herself and it was satisfying
Ironic, isn't it? The same person who helped you in your plan is the one who ends up taking it away from you at the least expected moment. But in any case, Drolta was an Egyptian priestess, willing to get rid of others for her convenience.
The funny thing is it was never Ezresbeth's plan, Drolta was always the mastermind behind everything. That's what the flashbacks in the series are showing. Drolta turned Ezresbeth into a vampire to see if she could be a vessel for Sekhmet, Ezresbeth succeeded, and Drolta began worshipping her because she was a way to bring her true goddess back. When they first met Ezresbeth has no idea who or what Sekhmet was, she was only interested in the power that came with it.
You know, I predicted there will be betrayal when I watch season 2 But I was hoping for Erzsebet betraying Dorlta. But I guess it was the other way around
From the get go Drolta always had motives but never though Erzsebet would have fail the mission. Drolta thought Erzsebet was the perfect candidate to become Sekhmet. However, after seeing Erzsebet get outdone Drolta finally revealed her true intentions. .
I thought that Drolta and Erzsebet were real friends there. Oh well, guess not. Turns out Drolta couldn't give a damn about the person so long as the body was strong enough for the host.
Not gonna lie, I didn't expect this much character development from her Castlevania Bloodlines counterpart; the old priestess who helped resurrect Dracula who was just a Phase 2 of the final boss. Kudos to everyone who worked on Nocturne.
I wonder, did Drolta expected to be revived as a night creature hybrid and this was all part of the plan, or Did alucard orginally mess the whole thing up and drolta was screwed 😂
it seems more like a spur of the moment betrayal, Drolta became disappointed that Erzsebet got defeated and probably felt disgust at her pitiful behavior, so she decided she'd take Sekhmet's power for herself. At least that's how I view it. It could also be that Drolta always planned to steal Erzebet's power, but didn't expect to have gotten killed by Alucard and revived. Even master villains make adjustments impromptu, after all.
@BingLing-vz3og But tbh, without her stronger Night creature hybrid form, I doubt she would have been able to handle the power. I feel like this was always going to end badly for Drolta. She lives and the power kills her. Shes a hybrid and the Belmonts handled her
I mean, I expected the betrayal, but I thought it would be because Drolta would have brought something else back along with her. Not the first time I got the right answer through the wrong calculation.
0:29 If Erzsebet had a second Chance of redemption would she even get the chance to make things right I mean if she somehow manages to come back to life and have a fresh start I wonder what was that Red energy that Annette used Ersebet? Is it could be a possibility that somehow she's going to make a comeback somewhere later in the series?
What doesn't quite make sense about all of this is how is it that Drolta sees all the faults in Erzsebet and choses to fight Sejmet... like, ok, Erzsebet was not Sejmet, but how is it that you see Sejmet is fighting your creation yet you claim to know more about what Sejmet wants than Sejmet herself?
She basically became power hungry and when she saw that erszebeth wasted almost every power she had on humans she decided to take her powers. Drolta never knew what goddess wanted, she lost her mind when became a vampire.
Vampires can only retain their humanity through love. Drolta lost all of that the moment her temple was sacked by vampires. As a result, Drolta lost her humanity and became a devil on Earth as a vampire.
Drolta's vampirism blinded her into believing that her own lust for power and blood was Sekhmet's desires. It's a theme throughout Castlevania Nocturne that vampires are selfish beings that confuse their selfishness as care/love: Tera pushing her daughter to learn the dark arts, Olrox forcibly turning his first love into a vampire, etc.
This was an interesting twist. Erzabeth’s insistence on bringing Drolta back shows that she never thought of her as just a servant. Maybe I’m stretching it here, but I think she loved her. They shared a dream, and everything she’s done since then was to become what Drolta loved and worshipped
I think that if she had all of Sehkmet's soul, she MIGHT have been able to handle Dracula as we saw him, starved, depressed and well out of practice. But, I suspect that a Dracula fully fed in his prime would be a very different story.
I think this wasn't in the plan. She found her opportunity right after she was resurrected as a half vampire, half creature from hell. She never believed she was strong enough, until after that point.
When I watch the trailers that Nocturne is coming soon (Before season 1 started), I actually thought this vampire messiah mentioned was referring to that black, pink haired succubus vampire, I guess I was right.
Bueno si te das cuenta antes de llo Erzebeth mordido a la mamá de María antes de darle de beber de su sangre supongo para mezclar tanto la de Tera como la propia y así no tener inconvenientes con la sangre de la diosa
Bla bla bla, everyone is Sekhmet, ok But there is only one who can bring a fear to everyone, who was stronger than incarnation of death - Dracula. And this name is worth more than some "I am a Sekhmet".
I don’t know why but I found Erzsebet’s defeat unsatisfying for some reason. Maybe because it happened so quickly after she arrived in Paris. She was so scary in Terra’s flashback with Sekhmet’s blood. Then she becomes even scarier with Sekhmet’s heart. And then she falls in the first night. Kinda like the Night King. Also, she didn’t suffer enough considering the amount of pain she’s caused in her lifetime.
Nah, it was kinda poetic. She thought of herself as some invincible goddess only to find out in her last moments that she was nothing more but pawn for a higher means.
Drolta was the one who actually wanted to raise Sekhmet. Erzsebet was only interested in the power of it because she's a raging narcissist. Drolta really only saw her as a vessel for Sekhmet, so I highly doubt anything she could have said would have changed Drolta's mind seeing as she failed to become her all powerful goddess.
I expected Drolta to betray Erzsebeth but I don’t understand her plan here. If she wanted Sekhmet’s power for herself than why didn’t she drank her blood instead? It’s implied that she wasn’t strong enough for it so she searched for a vessel and found Erzsebeth who could withstand drinking Sekhmet’s blood. But what did she plan to do if Erzsebeth didn’t get defeated and became even more powerful? She says “This power belongs to me. It always belonged to me!” so was it her plan to betray her all along? Maybe I missed something but her plan makes no sense. Perhaps she got dissapointed at her because she lost the fight and then decided to kill her.
After becoming a vampire herself, Drolta searched far and wide to find the perfect vessel for Sehkmet because she wasn’t strong enough for herself and when she found Erzsebet she realized she was perfect. So in essence she was preparing her to be strong so she can have Sehkmet’s power for herself
@Alptanis Drolta's plan was to bring Sekhmet back fully and Erzsebet was the perfect vessel. I believe if Drolta was still a Vampire she probably wouldn't have betrayed Erzsebet but since she was brought back as a Vampre-Night Creature hybrid and stronger than before her mind became somewhat more twisted and malevolent than it already was and since Erzsebet failed to do what she planned (thanks to Annette/Sekhmet's Ahk running interference) she snapped and had a "if you want something done right, do it yourself" moment.. Like a disappointed parent when their child fails to live up to expectations. It's sort of like a macabre version of "to whom much is given, much is expected"
Honestly I think if Erzsebet never lost then Drolta would have continued serving her. To Drolta she seen Erzsebet as the one true Sekhmet until she fail her mission. It didn't help either that Erzsebet was extremely weakened and missing a limb.
Carmilla is my fave Castlevania villain. Everything was so calculated. Dracula was boring, Erzebeth had no layers, and Drolta was a little too one-dimensional for me as well. I’m glad they gave her som depth this season but still.
makes sense why would a white persons body be used for to revive a black goddess, she should have known she couldn't trust drolta. this season was really good!
You've killed your own master? You deserve all the pain that is coming to you, Drolta...and more. 😠💢 (Seriously, I wasn't expecting Erzsebeth Bathory to be killed off by Drolta. I already hated Drolta, and her killing my beautiful vampire queen has increased that hate even more.)
Honestly, this is bullshit, Drolta after absorbing Vampire Messiah is even weaker than Erzsebet at the end of S1. Even she is Night Creature + Vampire + Sekhmet but still be damaged by Belmont and Olrox is hillarious, on contrast Erzsebet was invincible when nothing can touch her when she has full power They made Erzsebet dirty
I think that the third soul of seckmet was making her weaker, cause we see that she is taking her powers and is trying to take her back to spirit world. but i agree on Drolta.
Number one: Erzsebet was already weakened by Sekhmet’s third soul. Number two: Drolta knows how Sekhmet’s powers work. These two factors are what allowed Drolta to absorb two of Sekhmet’s souls.
Drolta: I trainned you to be a Goddess for 200 years…and you turned out to be a pathetic brat. Let me take the wheel, I’m the better antagonist anyways.
Erzsebet: You have beaten me at my own game.
Drolta: Don't flatter yourself. You were never even a player.

@robbieking4070 Droltzu or perhaps Zelta. 🤔🤣

I just realised, Erzsebet lost her eye...very fitting, as Sekhmet was created when Ra pulled out his own eye.
wow!! Amazing detail!! 😍😍
Erzsebet: obey me!!
Drolta: what is that?
🤣🤣😂 She was like I'm good.
😂😂😂😂😂
Erzsebet: Take me down Drolta. Take me down!
Drolta: Thought you'd never ask!
Won't lie I wasn't expecting her to die by her servant
I was, but I thought it would be because Drolta would have brought something else back along with her. Not the first time I got the right answer through the wrong calculation.
Irony is the best way to die
She was never her servant. She played her role
She was never a servant lol
drolta was a servant to the god not the vessel itself
Isn’t me or Annette look so much better with longer hair
She's look beautiful 😊 with long hair
She pulls off both looks nicely
Yeah she definitely does
A part of me wishes she'd actually kept the long hair after losing Sekmet's powers.
Tera looks more attractive being a vampire
It's funny... in the original game timeline Erzebet killed Drolta... and this time the tables turn...
I honestly thought Drolta might betray Erzsebet when she realizes from seeing Annette that the goddess that possessed her is the true goddess and not the one Drolta was serving under
Annette wasn't the true goddess either. Technically, neither was Erzsebet. Really, both were just vessels using the goddesses power.
I know that, I just meant the goddess that’s possessing her is the true goddess
its neither, if you watch the final episode, you could see there are 3 figures ( Sekhmet) heading back to the temple as Annette leaving that realm.
Drolta has definitely been determined in welcoming Sekmet back into the living world
But now that her blood has matured in within Erzsebet, its only makes sense that she claims it for herself.

0:10 now this is a true goddess 😊❤
I seen far better goddesses..
I have to admit I didn’t see the drolta heel turn on erzabet. 0:55 first time you see erzabet genuinely scared
I mean she flat out stated this in the scene itself. So don’t see why many believed Dolta planned this at the start.
She was disillusioned by erzabeths defeat
Drolta basically says "I have no further use for you now. Die!" when she disposes of Erzebet.
1:27 I think she ain't take her down guys
You think?😅, well at least she threw her down at the end.
Scenic route
The fact that Drolta had been playing Erszebeth from the beginning 😭😭😭. That's what I call a villain!
Get over yourself. Ersebet only cared for drolta as a slave who would help her reach godhood. Nothing more
@@hawttchocolate Not exactly, Erszebeth and Drolta had more than a Slave and Master Relationship.
I almost feel sorry for Erzsebet
Her voice actress was so good esp when she cried.
@hansellancephilippe4075 Yeah Franka Potente really bodied this role. As did Elarica Johnson with Drolta. They better be nominated for some award
Drolta’s speaking voice is surprisingly beautiful such a complex, fascinating character.
I suspected drolta planned to betray her when she noted how tired erzsebet was after the 1st eclipse - it came across as if she were really saying “don’t disappoint me”
This betrayal was brutal and unexpected.
Remember, true mastery lies in advising the ruler on the throne while remaining in the shadows. Sidious failed because he chose to sit on the throne rather than wield power from the darkness. Villains thrive in the shadows but are consumed by the light.
To be fair to Palpatine, you can only puppeteer two sides of the same war for so long before it's all traced back up to you
@ Sidious was never caught for being the one who instigated the Clone Wars. He was defeated because the Rebel Alliance and many worlds see him as a dick and a terrible ruler. If he was in the shadows controlling a puppet emperor, Sidious would have never been caught.
Damn erszebeth got backstab in the back
In the end, Drolta was no better than the Bishop from the first series. It's good to see that fanaticism isn't just relegated Christianity; actually it's important to see that anyone can become the anti-thesis of their own beliefs.
Drolta becoming the main bady at the end was a good twist and she still sexy
I knew the whole time Drolta was gonna do this the whole time she was just stroking her ego that way she could take the power for herself and it was satisfying
I fucking love Drolta lmao
Funny to think that if Oltrox hadn't been distracted by the wounding of his lover this scene would be impossible.
I couldn’t believe he fumbled like that! Like cmon bro
I knew drolta would backstabbed erszebeth at some point. All she wanted was power.
I mean it does make since. Why would you want to serve someone younger then you when your the one that trained them to be what they are now
@@imweirdfiteme593 Only exceptions are those who genuinely live to serve
You know, I predicted there will be betrayal when I watch season 2
But I was hoping for Erzsebet betraying Dorlta. But I guess it was the other way around
damn they really gave erszebeth the Madara Treatment
I wonder if Drolta's return (i.e becoming a hybrid) caused her to turn against Erzebeth, and the original Drolta was fine working with her.
I think drolta was just disappointed
Shes a hybrid and the Belmonts handled her
Dying was never the intention, even ressurecting her was an experiment on erzabeths part
She actually pulled a black zetsu on Erzsebet
Greatest voice acting I’ve ever seen
I mean, I expected the betrayal, but I thought it would be because Drolta would have brought something else back along with her. Not the first time I got the right answer through the wrong calculation.
pretty bad writing, honestly.
So… Drolta did to Erzsebet the same thing Lestat and the other vampires did to Akasha. Bleed her dry. I knew that would happen.
Drolta is my girl man. That laugh ending with a cackle is awesome. Need to make a vid of Drolta cackling.
Mannn.....that red/golden woman was like queen at first than after showing mercy by hunter ,she got kill by her servent
this is dumb anyway

Talks about being a goddess only to be taken down like a chump.
Because she wasn’t a goddess…
Poor Drolta, she was just a confused fan 😢😢😢
"and then I find you, the perfect human monster...(...)"
Richter: Uhhhh come on, again?!
She rejected the healing aspect in favor of the war one. It's why she calls herself the goddess of war, not goddess of healing and war.
They shared a dream, and everything she’s done since then was to become what Drolta loved and worshipped
and people still think Erzsebet would beat Dracula..
nobody is stronger than the OG
I think that if she had all of Sehkmet's soul, she MIGHT have been able to handle Dracula as we saw him, starved, depressed and well out of practice. But, I suspect that a Dracula fully fed in his prime would be a very different story.
No Belmont could pull me out
Was kind hoping Erzabeth at the end would go for the final blow againsy Drolta, And then afterwards saw her corpse burning in the fire…. Yokes
I think this wasn't in the plan. She found her opportunity right after she was resurrected as a half vampire, half creature from hell. She never believed she was strong enough, until after that point.
I wanna be a Super Saiyan! I wanna! I wanna! I wanna!
Imagine erzsebet turned into a night creature too but even more pissed 😳

This is some starscream level shit right here.

When I watch the trailers that Nocturne is coming soon (Before season 1 started), I actually thought this vampire messiah mentioned was referring to that black, pink haired succubus vampire, I guess I was right.
So why didn’t Maria’s mother get Sehkmet’s power when she drank from Erzebeth?
Bueno si te das cuenta antes de llo Erzebeth mordido a la mamá de María antes de darle de beber de su sangre supongo para mezclar tanto la de Tera como la propia y así no tener inconvenientes con la sangre de la diosa
Bla bla bla, everyone is Sekhmet, ok
But there is only one who can bring a fear to everyone, who was stronger than incarnation of death - Dracula. And this name is worth more than some "I am a Sekhmet".
When will you guys realize that the games and the show are two different realms?
1:17 Drolta’s betrayal. Wished Erzsebet suffered more. 2:11
1:29 I love the way she gives her command a second time but this time impatiently.
No can be God nor can they play god
Erzsebat: I was a goddess
Fans remembering Dracula at the lowest point of his power: Oh please, you are a joke.
@ That’s different than how she got there.
Holy shit Drolta just diablerized her!
YOU ARE NOT SEKHMET! You are NOTHING! This Power belongs to me! It’s always belonged to me! Drolta ate that up. Literally!
Rather than wanting to destroy more
Her ass could’ve started explaining to drolta on why she lost and maybe she may not have been killed by drolta
She came to the conclusion she alone was worthy at that moment
After reviving Droota became strong enough, it wasn't the plan from the beginning.
Carmilla is my fave Castlevania villain. Everything was so calculated. Dracula was boring, Erzebeth had no layers, and Drolta was a little too one-dimensional for me as well. I’m glad they gave her som depth this season but still.
5 gallons of Blood and Not a drop was wasted
makes sense why would a white persons body be used for to revive a black goddess, she should have known she couldn't trust drolta. this season was really good!
Right lmao and even sekhmet was disgusted to have been placed in that body. D

(Seriously, I wasn't expecting Erzsebeth Bathory to be killed off by Drolta. I already hated Drolta, and her killing my beautiful vampire queen has increased that hate even more.)
Honestly, this is bullshit, Drolta after absorbing Vampire Messiah is even weaker than Erzsebet at the end of S1. Even she is Night Creature + Vampire + Sekhmet but still be damaged by Belmont and Olrox is hillarious, on contrast Erzsebet was invincible when nothing can touch her when she has full power
They made Erzsebet dirty
I think that the third soul of seckmet was making her weaker, cause we see that she is taking her powers and is trying to take her back to spirit world. but i agree on Drolta.
Annete is absorbing the power since the battle began, erzabeth was being weakened and drolta just took the last bits before she lost completely
Sekhmet? She kinda looks like Astarte to me!
Though clearly rushed this season was excellent. At least for the animation. The storyline could’ve used for some extreme modifications
