I LOVE this remaster, the old music, less colorful aesthetics, and more actual horror climate it has everything Good to know some people still care about game from my childhood ❤
just enjoying the good old hello neighbour many people hate this game for its bug but i still love the messy textures with a cartonish look and its sad and intresting story still happy to see that there are people who still play this game
I played both the alphas and the final game when it first came out, I think I was 10 when the game came out, but well, as a kid I liked it even though I couldn't get past act 2. I played it again recently and despite it having some shortcomings that I already noticed as a kid, the game doesn't seem bad to me and is enjoyable despite its flaws. I never understood why the game was so hated, and even less so if we go to the steam reviews and they all come out "very positive". I'm in the act 3 now.
This playthrough seems so much better than thw actual game. The Neighbor's A.I has been improved and theres no minigames. And the puzzles make so much since in this mod.
On moddb there is already a steam packaged version with a step by step guide to play it with the steam or epic games version of the game. But ya if it is on steam workshop that will surely increase its reach

I really wish they would remaster their game so it is fun to play and so its artstyle does not look like what you would expect from a 2017 youtube kids video. A remake is just remaking an original of something, often 1:1 recreations. A remaster is altering or enhancing an already existing thing, like perhaps enhancing gameplay mechanics or polishing cutscenes of an already published game. I think that's closer to what the words actually mean.

The way they synchronised act 1,2,3,4 as well as alpha 1 and 2 is genius.
This is a great remaster, and FINALLY not an Ai thats only used to a one floor house.

This has the same feeling as the weather of Alpha 4, when the player just arrived and the Neighbor wasn't there yet.
