Yep, he know right from wrong. My grandson would do the same he is good at manipulation, he may have autism but he knows how to play the game, meaning my grandson who also has autism.
It’s good to see Levi out and about I know you give him chores it shows because he goes and puts things away when you give them to him, I laugh though when you tell him to pick up the big one and he takes the small one it reminds me of my grand kids when I ask them to do something they really don’t want to do 😂
Levi will learn if you keep making him do things. I do know it’s harder for us to make them do something than to just do it ourselves! As for the tea bags, put the number needed for each batch of tea in a baggie and tell him to use only one baggie for each batch of tea. Maybe, he will get the concept that way. Keep on keeping on! I think we don't always realize how high functioning Levi is, and that he is 27, not a child. Levi has good communication skills, he comprehends and follows conversations and has a good memory. I'm glad you are encouraging Levi to leave his comfort zone more Kim. He's very capable of following directions and just needs more practice to refine his skills. Working outdoors is always healthier than walking on a treadmill
Kim I’m so glad you don’t treat Levi like he can’t do anything. You treat him as much like a normal child as possible. You teach him that he needs to do jobs around the house. It might not be perfect but you are teaching him that this is what we do as people. Just because a child has autism doesn’t mean they can’t do anything. When in fact they are very smart. My friend has a child that is autistic. You can ask her where anything is in that house and she goes and gets it. We laugh and say if she doesn’t know where it’s at then it’s lost forever and that’s probably the truth😂. Have a wonderful evening.
Hi Kim! I love watching your channel and all the Morrow Hill Clan! This is not a comment on this video, I just wanted to thank you for the hint you gave on one of Paw Paw's fixes you helped him with. You fixed a leak in his water line and used a bic lighter to heat up the plastic piping in order to get the plastic repair coupling slipped in place. I have plastic drip line in my flower beds and have always struggled to repair leaks. Now it's an easy peasy chore to get that darn coupling into the cut ends of the drip line. A million thanks for all the tips you give!
Aren’t all kids at one time or another “not a joy”? LOL My daughter was very stronged willed when she was younger…..there were many times she wasn’t a joy but I wouldn’t have changed her for anything. You’re an amazing mom!!

I know not all days are roses, some are daisies. But Daisies are very nice too & he did meet you at the back door with a glass of tea. Shows he cares bout you too. My son would drag so slow sometimes I swear if flies landed on him they would die of old age from not being disturbed. And he is not autistic, I think all kids dread mom chores. Tell Levi we are all proud of him doing all that work for mom. ❤️

If you lived closer to me, I would hire him to work. He is awesome. I have hired autistic and one made a shift lead. The autistic just wants a chance to make it in the world. Some are really aggressive, but some are really sweet. I love your videos, and you're doing a great job. ❤
Know you have Levi do things more than you show, he will forever be your child and needs structure and responsibility (to the best of his ability), it may just be in the moment but it makes him feel important, plus you got him outdoors and exercising!! That's a lot on your part to spend the time to do that, especially when you have so much other things to do!!
The full Moon in June is the 21st and boy is our daughter Naomi letting us know. She has laughed uncontrollably and screamed once. Emotions can be so fickle.

Funniest thing to me was teaching grands to sweep or rake. They knew how to do it wrong, so I'd give up and do it myself. Lol!
