I can vouch for the unreliability of the trailblazer. I was given one as a rental while my other car was getting new brakes. Enterprise gave me a brand new model with less than 1000 miles. 100 miles later the trailblazer threw a check engine light with the following messages: service stabilitrac, service brakes. The braking modules for antilock and stability control had failed! All credit to enterprise though they swapped me out with a Kia Soul when I reported the issue. I put 1000 miles on that Kia and had no issues at all. These are sad times when Kia can build a more reliable vehicle than GM. (I still wouldn't buy or own a Kia)
I have a 2023 Ford Escape hybrid. I have 20 thousand miles on it and have no problems. Mine has a 4 cylinder engine with no turbo charging. Mine is also front wheel drive. Thoughts?
The new Grand Cherokee is pretty awesome assuming you stay away from the problem-plagued 4xe, which should definitely be on this list. This new generation fixes the interior cheapness and quality issues of the last generation (aside from the 4xe). Best to stick with a reliable V6 or, if you can find it, a rare Hemi.
I have had two Ford Explorers with no problems. My first one went over 200 thousand miles before I crashed it. I bought a second one. It is a 2018 and is still going strong. Maybe the older ones are more reliable?

Two years with our 2023 JGC and zero problems. Our 2014 model gave years of trouble free ownership.
