Oh and about jealousy, you just need to watch the first Suchwita episode with JK to see how proud Yoongi is of his little brother's success. Not a trace of resentment to be seen anywhere. The man talks about how JK is the most talented singer he's ever met in almost every episode. Or, see the episode with Tae, where they talked about how different all their solo projects are. Or the one with Jimin, where they talked about the group's dynamics, especially between the rapline and the vocal line. Or they way they supported each other's solo projects, visiting each other's MV shoots, performances, concerts.
I mean, during his last three concerts, Yoongi left the stage to his members (JK, Jimin Namjoon) so they can interact with ARMY. What artist leaves his own stage? Yoongi did it because he knows his members missed ARMY and ARMY missed them.
I think Suchwita is a treasure trove to see the dynamics between members and within the group.
And yes, the "Butter" performance at the AMAs after they won Artist of the Year. You could feel their joy and excitement and energy so much.
I agree!
and it's just my opinion but as solo artists i think they all do different things so i think that also keeps it from being competitive even if they were (which they aren't)
Great points. I also would like to add, when Jhope and Suga first performed one of their solo hit songs, Chicken Noodle Soup and Daechwita, they chose to perform it with the group. They are so selfless that they could have chosen to just perform it solo and highlight their own work. That's the kind of dynamics these men have. And yes, they support each other's solo project in every way they can. The rest of the group endorsing jhope's physical album while he's in military is another example of how they love each other.
Suchwita show you the real Bts fr I'm so glad suga made it 💜
Suga mentioning Jungkook in every ep became a meme and him and Rm bieng friends for 13 years ofc😂😂
Sounds like your mom needs to watch Taylor's guide to find out how BTS started. It will talk about their philanthropy and Armies, too. Each of the guys gives back personally and privately, as well as a group. The group partnered with UNICEF to share profits from their albums and many other projects. Jimin donates to his schools in Busan, JK donates to children's hospitals, Suga gave alot of meat to orphanages, etc. These are some I have heard about.
i am going write this =0]
And namjoon (RM) does a lot to help in preservation of Korean arts and culture too, including donations :)
They only use BTS for PR
Yes!
JHope donates to local and worldwide medical charities for vaccines and treatments. And Jin also donates to UNICEF a lot.
re: Jimin telling RM “we aren’t celebrities, we’re just Jimin and Namjoon.” - the way I read the situation is that Jimin was impressing on RM that they’re still just themselves, people with normal feelings and friends just like any other friends. Maybe RM was feeling nervous and getting too up in his head about the upcoming performance? and Jimin wanted to help ground him by reminding him, at least in that moment, to just relax and let himself be Namjoon for a while instead of shouldering his whole celebrity RM-of-BTS persona and all that pressure.
I took it to mean they aren't considered "real" celebrities among the established US audience. I think if they were embraced in mainstream rather than always being called a Kpop group; they would feel more respected in the US
I’m 68 yr old fan and the music and dancing is what first caught my attention with BTS, but it is their bond with each other and Army, their personalities, their ability to be transparent and real that has made me fall in love with them. I would pay money to see Mom react to the 2019 MMA awards performance, the Guide to BTS and the 2018 MAMA acceptance speech. I’m not joking. I will send $$ by super whatever that is…
And what about RMs United Nations speech :)
One of the sweetest things is they are still humble. 7❤️🍀
No doubt!
Suga has a dance practice for Haegeum it literally went hard for sure.
I was so proud of him for that! He killed it.
And he did that just for funzies just because he can because he never performed the dance fkddkdk yoongi is so crazy (affectionate) 😭😭😭😭🫶
My very first voting for any artist was for BTS on AMA. Remember I was screaming at the top of my lungs when they won Artist of the Year! I love these guys. They are so incredible. Since discovering them Bangtans have become my safe zone. Can`t wait for their comeback in 2025.
Quick note: RM stands for “Real Me” because Namjoon didn’t want to call himself a monster anymore. He also is the leader, not just because he’s awesome, but also because the group was literally formed around him. He is the first member.
it does not actually stand for real me either, he just said this is one of the possibilities but there is no definite answer for what it stands for
@@kabazinga oh yeah you’re right!
Rap Monster
I have never heard the ‘Real Me,’ so have no idea whether to believe you or not. Rap Monster is the only title I’ve ever heard.
@@lisevail4264 rm did talk about it when he changed his stage name in an interview, just it’s not the only possible definition, there is no one definition, he hasn't used rap monster for seven years now
Mom will be happy to know, charitable starting with UNICEF and many other Charities. You have to remember they were kids, too young , now men. I believe there families and their culture, had a lot of influence. They have made History. ❤️🍀
@oneinanarmy - both BTS and ARMY (in their name) definitely give charitably across many platforms. Very Lovely.
The concept of a leader in K-Pop is different to that in the West. It's not just someone who introduces the songs or leads on chat shows. The leader has to mediate between the group and the agency and has to support the members emotionally. I presume Bang PD chose Namjoon to be leader but the members of TXT chose Soobin who is the only member of that group who doesn't speak English. Namjoon was the first member of BTS and they built the group around him. He is, indeed, fourth in age but the members all think he's a great leader. Trainees can train for years and maybe never make it into a group or they start with one group and then get shifted to another. Jimin had a really short trainee period of only six months and nearly didn't make the cut. It's very stressful as they have to go for monthly evaluations. Jin was put into the trainee programme on looks alone. Only Jungkook was sent to the States to improve his dance skills but it's common for Hybe trainees to be sent there now, I understand. It's only recently that they have developed their own career paths but they still introduce themselves as, 'name', of BTS. At first they did solos but under the BTS umbrella now they are still part of BTS but are also solo artists in their own right. Jungkook's recent collab with Usher was a really big coup. J-Hope headlining Lollapalooza and making it Hobipalooza brought him to the fore in the States too. Jimin, Jungkook, and J-hope all do intense choreo to their songs on stage. V is more laid back like his songs. Individually and as a group they now use external choreographers but J-Hope as dance captain steers them through rehearsals and they all contribute ideas as to how to tweak each performance. When they were training some of them were back up dancers for other performers. Jungkook's back up dancers for most of his recent performances were well known choreographers like Brian Puspos and Nick Joseph.
Each member of BTS donates to charity or supports their old school Usually on their birthdays. Your mum is a delight and I'm pleased to hear that some of her friends are ARMY too.
Thank you❤
V has always been described by people who met him as pure and innocent (even his teachers in grade school described him that way), gentle, kind, polite and warm. There is something abt him that evokes that sense of protectiveness just like we feel for children. Maybe the thing you said Max abt Tae being connected to his younger self his child self, is that one thing..
Thank you, Max, for reacting to them while they're in the military, also love your mom's comments!
You describe the members so well, I wish more people took the time to understand the group and their messages like you have.
Your mom is so nice 🥹 love seeing you to connect with bts
Yes philanthropic they are. A long standing cooperation with unicef. Donations individually and group/label are given
if you watch the guide to bts all your questions will be answered. taylor's guide is the best or celeste x
Up to Taylor's guide
XCeleste's vids about their hardships and summarizing the BU are also really good.
i love their post-Grammy discussion from 2020, it was the first time they performed on stage (with lil nas x) so they had interesting things to share
I think you should watch "A guide to bts members, the Bangtan 7" with your mom, it will give her a good introduction to the members and also fill in some of the blancs on the things you don't know.
I love how like you said they never take any experiences for granted. They all have a child-like sense of wonder and curiousity and go into every situation with humility and gratitude for everything they have. When you guys were talking about them having their own individual projects and that there's no jealousy involved, it reminded me that I think every one of them has mentioned at some point how strange it is not having the other members there and how they miss having them there. They do all support each other 100%.
I've loved hearing your mother's thoughts, she makes some great observations 😊
RM is the reason the idea for bts exists. Bang pd aka hit man bang got the idea for BTS after he found out about RM from the rapper Sleepy.
Thats how bighit entertainment started recruiting trainees for the first time.
💜 thank you again for a really interesting and very enjoyable reaction. I am a 79 yr old ARMY who has enjoyed BTS for 4 yrs now. These 7 extremely talented but humble young men have brought back my love of music after a long hiatus. I have even learned to appreciate (Korean) rap! I too think that watching Taylor’s guide would be interesting and answer a lot of your mom’s questions. (Most ARMY will happily watch any of the guides about BTS numerous times with interested newcomers) Learning about their backgrounds and personalities really increased my interest and enjoyment of their music. 💜
@gretcchend6823
⬆️ THIS ⬆️ 💜 67 yr old ARMY of six years here. Very well expressed 👏
I am a 71 year old Army, for nearly 4 years now. Like you I had given up with popular music for a long time. Then I came across BTS and now love evrrything they do. 💜💜💜
BTS still has an ongoing charity project Love yourself - all income from sold album Love yourself goes to Unicef, it since more years
They are extremely charitable both personally and through the company they do it the right way by not advertising it we know some of it because the receiving party thanked them ❤
These guys are a family more then friends they necame a family.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love you & your mums beautiful energy. You communicate everything so fluidly & your relationship as parent, child is life goals. ❤ ARMY ❤
Thank you!
I think RM, Jin, and Hobi all have different "pillar" responsibilities with regard to the group (beyond music--musically, it's RM, Suga, and Hobi). RM is the Leader and his responsibilities are implied. I think the guys trust him and look to him for something like spiritual or philosophical guidance. Jin is the eldest and the boys look to him for comfort and family and laughter in that very familial kind of way, and he has a wisdom of his own that they learn from. Hobi (according to Jungkook) is the "leader in their private life." He's the one who is constantly taking care in the big but unenumerated ways. I don't mean this pejoratively but kind of in the way a "mom" does. Making sure the house is in order. He's secure and stable and safe and warm and supportive and he tends to all the many things that make day-to-day life a little easier. And he's the glue that brought and held the group together for years. The boys once called him a pillar holding up other pillars.
I love this 💜
I never felt that much closeness between a group like bts ofc they are not the only group who love each other but bts's bond is one of the things they are famous for the 7 are always sticking together even if the room is spacious they will squeeze themselves on one sofa 😂😂
I really like what your mum explained about the nostalgia element in KPop. I'm 49 and grew up adoring golden era Hollywood musicals. Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly were my heroes. However, that doesn't exist anymore, so I get my fix through KPop, which is a 'total package' kind of entertainment, as Suga explained once. I was really missing beautifully choreographed numbers and swiping musicality and KPop is giving me that now
I've seen Namjoon playing piano during a live. He's a bit out of practice but he can do it quite well. JK can play a bit of Guitar. Jimin is learling how to play the guitar. V can play a bit of sax and trumpet. Suga can play piano very well and he also plays the guitar. Jin played the piano during a concert for his song Epiphany. J-Hope, I don't know. I think they can play a bit of an instrument.
Bts always give their best even before they get the trophy cause they are always giving priority to their performances to make us proud of them
V always practices for the red carpet speech as well and he makes RM correct his English.
Every time the guys introduce themselves in their solo performances it's always RM of BTS or JHope of BTS or Jung Kook of BTS.. When Suga did his solo world tour as Agust-D he brought out his guitar with written messages on it from his BTS brothers showing to the world that wherever he went he brought his members with him. Even in their lives with Army it's always about looking forward to their reunion as a group coming together in 2025. The love and loyalty they have for each other is so heart warming 💜.
Thanks for sharing BTS with your mom & thanks for sharing this reaction with us. I love how your mom asks such deep questions like how did the group begin, are they charitable & questions about how the members relate to one another. You can tell that she has a genuine interest in learning more about them. What a fun way for the two of you to connect.
Brother, I cannot write many comments, but you are a really sweet person. Your mother is also very sweet. I hope you are always happy and Life brings you together with good people
Even with their recent solo works/albums that were released, they still introduced themselves as "JK *of BTS* ", "Jhope *of BTS* " , "RM *of BTS* " etc...Their solo projects are absolutely amazing on its own, but together as the 7 members of BTS is beyond & so much more altogether. That's why their 7 tattoos hold so much significance. OT7 forever. Love these guys individually and altogether as a group. 😊💜🎶
Mom: "What makes him the leader?"
Namjoon Stan Max: (Lists every leadership quality known to humanity)
😅💜
Indeed, BTS is phenomenally philanthropic! They almost never make any public announcement and the general public never knows unless the people receiving support reveal it. They make donations individually and also as a group. Army has responded to this with world wide groups of Armys doing projects to support various causes. I really do suggest that you both watch 22:29 the Taylor Mari video Introduction to BTS!! I purple you 🫶💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love the way you talk about all the members of BTS. You gave your mom an idea of who they are in a nutshell. 👏👏👏Spoken like a true ARMY. More power to you.
Thank you :)
RM became the leader because the group was literally started because of him he's literally the first member. 😭 They started as a rap group so all the rappers are the first 3 members. Then Jin, Jungkook, V and Jimin that's the order they came into the group after the rapline.
Philanthropy = BTS 😊💜
That's just ONE of the many amazing layers that is BTS.
7:15 rm was the first member and had a lot of input in their music from the beginning
They support each other as they see it as part of the Group work they bring back what they've learnt and share it with the group also they see it as a way to point new fans to the group. For them it's a 2 pronged attack (A) artist development and (B) bring new people into the BTS world. They'll got to each other MV shoots to encourage each other, attend each other's events to support each other and even be given a guest spot. They sometimes are hiding in each other's MV's and it's fun trying to spot them.
Hit man bang aka BangPD picked these 7 guy's there all incredible and BangPd is like their dad in the company. They all can play an instrument now.
Your mom’s instincts & observations are amazing
Yes to the fact BTS do a lot of charity things some we hear about some we only find out about if a Reporter snoops and find out. ARMY follow BTS in that vein we have many things we supports and raise money for in the name of BTS. Things that align with their messages in their music.
You should do Taylor's guide to BTS with your mom. It has answers to everything your mom wants to know.
About keeping themselves humble and down-to-earth, I think they often have serious conversations among themselves, such as the kind of artists they want to be and how to conduct themselves.
In an early Suchwita episode with Taeyang, they talk about exactly this, how to keep themselves grounded amidst all the success. Taeyang said that he was surprised that the three members he had met -- RM, Jimin, and Suga -- all consistently talked about this.
So it seems to me that they're all on the same page about things like this.
Good call. I love that.
Your mom seems so wonderful 😊 it's so nice to watch other people share their love for bts with others.
Great reaction as always !! It would be really fun if you reacted with your mom ( I love her by the way ) to standing next to you . Maybe a live performance since you havent seen one . The choreo and vocals are 🔥🔥🔥
We’ve already watched it (unfortunately I didn’t film the reaction). She LOVED it.
@maxpbeaumont I'm glad ❤
sweet@@maxpbeaumont
did u see the usher remix? there is a performance video for it. @@maxpbeaumont Usher will promote the song and have it on his album
I did. Very cool to see him with Usher but I preferred solo JK
November 13, 2017; RM wrote an announcement letter to ARMY via BTS' fancafe announcing that he changed his stage name from RapMonster or Rampon to RM...
A little of the content of the announcement that RM made :
⬇️
"Sometimes I lightly introduce myself with RapMon or RM instead of the full name, RapMonster. Therefore, I will officially change my stage name to RM, which I feel like goes along with the songs I want to create in the future and have a wider though perspective..."
.........
"My desire is to produce music from the heart, with a wider perspective without any restrictions..."
Since then ARMY has never called him by his old stage name anymore...
(but.....RM made an exception for his golden Maknae JK, because JK still finds it difficult to let go of RapMon which made him choose to join BigHit ➡️ in Bangtan B*mb; Jin reprimanded JK for still calling RM: RapMon Hyung, but JK said that it was very difficult and he would call RM by that for the rest of his life. Then RM answered: "You can call me whatever name you want,JK.." and they laugh..)
💜
BTS gives & gives.
Oh when i see bts i click❤
Your mom is so observant, wise and emotionally intelligent, we can see where you got that from. She doesn't any certificate besides "mom" to make such valuable commentary.
I absolutely loved how your mom would ask insightful questions. Love this 🎉
they are also very philanthropic. Most of it are quietly done but they have the Love Yourself campaign they have had for several years now with UNICEF. We hear some of their donations when the beneficiaries talk about it so then they are leaked to the media. this is often around their birthdays.
Hi Max, I saw your reply email, thanks, so nice to hear from you! So I did what you recommended and started checking out your K-pop stuff. It turns out I already did know several BTS songs from hearing them on the radio and I love them! Just didn't realise who sang them. Feel a bit silly now, haha. Anyway, thanks for getting me into this! Willemijn
Great commentaries from , You and your Mother.❤️🍀
Absolutely loved both of your reactions!!
Thanks!
I love hearing you describe their personalities to your mom. (And, Max, you're TOTALLY ARMY at this point.)
Regarding them and fame, I think you hit it on the nose. They're definitely aware of their influence (and the responsibility that comes with that), and of the sensation they make. But they're not proud *of themselves.* They're proud of ARMY. (Which is part of why we all love them so much.)
Mom needs her own UA-cam channel!!! We love her!!! ❤
I was gonna comment this 😅
Any of them could be solo artists if they wanted to, because they are so popular and so good individually. But they all choose to stay together anyways, because they know they're even better together, and they enjoy it much more together. So when it comes to solo careers, they seem to think that any member succeeding equals success for the group. I think that also explains the lack of jealousy.
And yes, they donate lots to charities! But they rarely ever publicize them, which I find amazing - they don't do it for the attention. We only find out about them when/if the other parties publicize them. A few of their public things have been a million dollars for Black Lives Matter and a million for tour crews during Covid. And of course their campaigns with Unicef.
Thank you for this reaction video! I’m 63 years old and became Army during Dynamite. If you go back to their early years, you’ll see how much they struggled and why they’re closer than brothers. Their enthusiasm is amazing and like many Army have mentioned, they donate A LOT to charity, mostly in secret.
I think that in order to see more of their personalities, you should have Mom watch 1-2 episodes of Run BTS! Their energy is so chaotic but fun! You’ll be LOL.
Hope to see you both at a concert in 2025 (or beyond)
Borahae! 💜
He was who the group was formed around and they all accept him as their Leader but it's different to our idea as he's the spokes person for the group. They all play at least one instrusement and yeah Suga is a classical trained pianist. V is a lover of Jazz.
Your are right he is the representative of the group to the company but they all can talk to the company as they are valued and of course they are all now Share Holders in the company.
Actually, the initial plan was for the group to be a rap group built around RM. This may be part of the reason why he was chosen as leader. He was the first member chosen. I'm not sure about this but I heard the oldest is often the leader in K-Pop bands but not sure if that's true. RM is the 4th oldest but there is no better person to lead the group. RM is our president!
It used to be that the oldest would be the leader, but in BigHit & generally speaking HYBE labels the leaders are chosen by the team and company. They choose someone who will be a good leader. The younger leaders often say they look up to RM. 😁
One of the theories behind not making the oldest the leader is that in Korean culture the oldest automatically has some responsibility because of that. If the leader is younger, you get two people with different types of responsibility, who can rely on each other. It seems to work really well, so more groups are operating this way now instead of just assuming the oldest should be in charge.
The leader of Enhypen is one of the youngest members, but if you get to know them at all, it absolutely makes sense. He's rock solid under stress. 😁
...I think about this stuff a lot, it fascinates me!
I do like the joke that HYBE just goes for leaders with dimples though 😁
I find it interesting, knowing how much you react to BTS, and you were not sure of their charity work. It is amazing how much they actually do, but do not do it publicly. Sometimes it is years later that their works get leaked to the press, and it shocks everyone ( because we think we know EVERYTHING they do, and are so surprised when we find out that we don’t). There is an amazing video explaining the ARMY charities that will knock your socks off- seriously, you have no clue! The extent is mind blowing!
I love in the first 2 mins she knows already how huge they are. Much respect mom. 💜🫰
ARMY has done a lot of charitable work in honor of the guys. Everything from planting trees, sponsoring wildlife, food drives and donating. They just make you want to do good for those around you
BTS is also very charitable, members have been inducted into prestigious donation clubs due to this. They usually donate quietly but then the organizations have come out and announced the good they have done. The most recent i can think of is JHope donated to upgrade a local animal shelter. They're such great people and I cant even touch on everything they have done in a single comment💜
Best way for your mom to see the dynamics between the group would be through suchwita with suga and each members talking or even just compilation that are out their showing their relationship between each other
he's got the right core💜 and ur mom. she seems such a good person as well. she's so interested in everything u have to say and adds her own opinions. i just love you both🤗.
You nailed it with what Bang PD’s desire to put together a hip hop group. When he met RM, he decided to form the group around him so him being the first chosen member, he made RM the leader.
For Mrs B, they are extremrly philanthropic, as a group and individually they have given millions to charity, and that is what is known because mostly they give discretely and we only know about those who have received have spoken about. Army also gives in their name too.
They were recruited by Bang Si Hyuk who had a small management company. He was introduced to a very young RM who was an underground rapper and decided to make a hip hop group. He then ran auditions to find more artists, picking up Suga, another underground rapper, and Jhope a street dancer, who eventually learned to rap also. Then his plan changed and he decided to make it an idol/hip hop group finding vocalists through auditions.
All members play the piano/ keyboards. Jungkook plays drums and dabbles in guitar. Suga and Jin play the guitar. V the Sax, tried Violin and dabbles with the Trumpet. That’s what I know.
Jimin does abit guitar too 💜
Tae is really good with piano tho
@@user-qd5gr8ql2w
I somehow doubt it.
He is choosing to try things but I'm under the impression he has also given up on them. He drabbles a little.
Taehyung was once at list a "little" good with a Sax but I'm under the impression he hasn't played in years.
I think the only thing Jimin can play on piano is Taeyang's "Wedding Dress" and he was taught to play a song on guitar recently (because of the Barbie movie and the gifted guitar).
JK is also more the type that tries things, is good and looses interest.
Yoongi and Jin do play the guitar - but i'm not sure Jin kept with it.
Yoongi is very good with the paino/keyboard. it is also the center of "first love".
It's diffcult to see what is done for show, who is good at what and what is "just" tried.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@ruthfischer7615 - In his band session, Tae shows us that he can still play the sax, but he's certainly out of practice. In ITS when they made up the song "Don't Wake Me Up" on the spot, Tae seemed to know enough to play chord progressions on the piano, not just memorized songs.
It's true that we only know what they choose to show us. We don't really know the extent of their skills in these instruments.
@@ruthfischer7615if you follow his content you’d know that he played the sax in his band sessions and the trumpet in his ig post and can play enough piano to create a melody for a song using it.
One small press on your username and it’s enough to see that all your comments on the channel is extremely shady towards him, take a rest and touch some grass, it really helps… and refrain from talking about stuff you don’t know since it really shows that you don’t like him nor follow his content
Awwww. You guys (mom ) are so on point understanding BTS and the guys!!!
Sorry, if this is not something you may want to do. But you should take a look at Xceleste's videos on intro to BTS, BTS hardships and intro to ARMY. It will bring a lot of perspective to BTS's BG. (But of course, for a deeper dive, The Rise of Bangtan would be a go-to series made by ARMY. She has 21 episodes starting from their pre-debut, up until 2020s I think. She also talks about K-Pop in general and why BTS is so different from other K-Pop groups in general, even if they are from SK).
Hoping you find time for the 3 Xceleste's videos though. 💜
1st time watching u with ur mom. U look like a carbon copy of her lol. Love how patient u are in explaining everything to ur mom. This is great! Hope to see u more with ur mom! ❤
Love Mom! 63-yr-old Silver Army here. She gets it.
they are genuine human beings and amazing artists! hope you have your mom in your future BTS reactions... let her watch the Guide to Bangtan by Taylor.
In BTS artistically there is no jealousy but there is competition. They all recognise that they can learn from each other and are on individual journeys to get stronger. They have all stated so many times how their solo careers will make BTS stronger when they all get back together. Their ability to be collaborative is why they work so well with non BTS artists who generally fall a little in love with them. You never hear I'm not going to work with them again.
hi Max! Cool that you obviously want to share these guys with your loved ones. I’m surprised though that you didn’t think of their work with UNICEF on the Love Yourself project as an example of their altruistic philosophy. Their impulse to protect vulnerable youths have motivated so many ARMYs. Many if not all of their songs seek to comfort those in pain/distress (Magic Shop; Butterfly, 1-2-3), their mission is to remind us that we’re not alone. (Whalien 52; save me/I’m fine) and to value and celebrate the individual however small we think we are (Love Yourself; Mikrokosmos).
As far as charitable donations go, BTS had very discreetly donated 1 million dollars to Black Lives Matter, but if you know ARMY, you will find that they are better detectives than the NYC PD. They found out about it and within 24 hours matched BTS's original donation with their own 1 million dollars. That impressed me so much, my chin hit the floor. Also, they organize spontaneously to help out with natural disasters, like floods or earthquakes, they support poor communities and try to raise funds for education of children etc. Wherever ARMY is, they will do their best to follow BTS's example of being kind to each other and themselves and making little miracles happen worldwide. This is the most awesome fandom in the world and I am proud to be part of it and eternally grateful to BTS for leading the way.
BTS are known for their philanthropic endeavors. Multiple members of the band have been inducted into prestigious donation clubs, such as the UNICEF Honors Club and the Green Noble Club, in acknowledgement of the size and frequency of their donations. They have also received awards for their donations, with one member receiving a Patron of the Arts Award for donations to the arts and BTS as a whole receiving a UNICEF Inspire Award for their Love Myself campaign. They often donate privately, with their patronage later being made public by the organizations they support and the media.
Thank you for introducing BTS to your mom! This was a very good video and I am hoping to see more BTS reactions with your mom in the future. Borahae!!!
Thanks Max for your introducing BTS to your mom. You precisely explains them well 💜
All seven members are extremely philanthropic. They don't usually publicize their donations, but often the organizations they donate to or the media will announce it. They have done a few extremely public donations/fundraisers and ARMY has done a TON of fundraisers. Check out One in an ARMY.
The "speeches" they memorized where responses to questions they might be asked on the red carpet. They did not know they won AotY before hand.
Thank you for your reaction! Love your mum💜
They first started as a trainee. As I understood, multiple people (60 or something) started and had training to become an artist, some like 2 years. Eventually these 7 were chosen to form the group BTS.
thank you for reacting to BTS!! i love your videos and your mom seems very sweet
Korean - not just humble - total perfectionists. How many times do they tell us "we will try hard, we will do better."
Hi Max and your lovely Mom :)
Your mom is such a darling!!!!
They've worked hard to stay grounded. Two small things that demonstrate it:
RM has said that he credits army with half of their success and himself with only 5% and that it helps him stay grounded. He always, always emphasizes the work of the team that is BTS, not only their members, but the rest of the staff.
And something that made me fall for JK way back: he bows deeply to venue staff. 90 degree bows to the cleaners. There are stories from janitorial staff who ran into him in the bathroom and he thanked them for their hard work. It might seem small, but going out of your way to express gratitude to the people who are most often overlooked - it just delights me. He likes being famous (I mean, not the stalking part, but the getting to work with Usher part for sure), but I'm certain he still treats everyone on set like they matter.
Also, if they were ever internally competitive or jealous, we didn't see it. It's always been everyone trying to help each other improve. They've admired each other's strengths, but there's never even been a hint of any of them resenting each other's success.
Yes, they aren't just trying to appear nice. They take active steps to keep themselves humble and grateful on the inside, and it shows on the outside.
Waiting for more videos with your mom about BTS ❤
I love your mom she’s so nice and analyse well😂💜💜💜please react to more bts
u should react to the bts guide with ur mum!! she seems super interested in the group and how they came to be
Instead of thinking "You get all the attention", Bts rather thinks like "If you shine bright on your on, you shine more light on us all". And since they're basically brothers they get extremely proud if a member achieved something.
Also they donated throughout the years as a group and also by themselfs. Most of these donations aren't even mentioned to the puplic and we only find out when media organisations mention the details. One of the most well known once is the collab between Bts and UNICEF as well as thi time when Bts donated 1 Million Dollars to Black Lives Matter and Army managed to match their donation, raising another 1 Million Dollars in less then 24 hours. Army also makes charity projects by themselfs
A new documentary came out on Disney in January. These young men talked about changes in their lives when they won the AMAs. For example, they were startled at the presence of so many security guards. In an In the Soop in 2021, J-Hope says to V "Be careful there, you're worth millions of dollars." He was joking, but not joking. It was a slow awareness. 2016-17 is when they began winning all the big awards at American and Korean shows, year after year until they went on hiatus and into the military. JK beat Taylor Swiift out of the #1 spot on hot 100 after he had entered the military, and was voted Male Artist of the Year at Golden Globes, but he still misses his hyungs.
It’s so fun to see her point of view of things her aura is so happy and intelligent! It would be great to react to more TXT things with her 💗
Good reaction from Mom! Show your mom Xceleste Introduction to BTS and Introduction to BTS army to answer some of her questions.
I was New kidS on the Block fan Back street Boys fan 1 .gOOD pop groups ...but now I am a ARMY MOM fan #1 💜 of BTS they are in another level 100% artist.. thank you for ur reactions ❤
Currently all members speak English and Japanese.
Army came up with this name because we protect boys from haters. BTD has always suffered from haters since the beginning of its career and suffered several boycotts from the industry. And the army always fought for them.
Watch Taylor's BTD guide. This way you will get to know each member and the relationship between them I'm 44 years old and I discovered BTS through my son 3 years ago. Today my son is 18 years old. I'm an army from Brazil.🇧🇷💜
Suga will play guitar and piano on stage with the live band. He will have the other members come on stage depending who's available for which day. J Hope Rapped on stage and danced on stage when he was the Headline act at Lollapalooza Chicago while Jimin was up top to the side encouraging him and occassionally we saw J Hope glance up to look at Jimin dancing and shouting encouragement.
