By default the object should be reflected in the water, you won’t have to change anything!

Btw how do you do the ripples around an object ?

Ripples around objects is rather tough and and would take significantly more nodes! I’d have to make an entire video dedicated just to that as it’s tough in a shader editor!

You can kind of fake it real quick using dynamic paint if you want!

somehow your tutorials feels like you are simply scraping them from ian hubert patreon, its great to share knowledge but you shold give him credit.
Im sure that im not only one who noticed that.

I have a pretty wide range of tutorials, 300+ total. All of the longer tutorials (save maybe 2) are extended tutorials from my instagram. The chances that one or two of them coincide with another artists tutorials Is pretty likely. Especially when it comes down to technical aspects of a software. I’ve gotten this once or twice before. But I also have 7 years in blender. There’s only so many ways to do something in the software so eventually you’ll end up with a similar method as someone else. I appreciate the comparison even though I know it’s not really a compliment, but you wouldn’t claim someone copied Ian Hubert because they made a tutorial on using actual photos projected onto geometry. That’s a very common industry technique that he didn’t create, he just popularized it among non industry professionals. Someone else making the tutorial might have never seen the video but work in the industry and want to share! Hope that makes sense, I’m not trying to copy or steal anyone’s stuff. I just like making environments and have a lot of years doing it!
