Goldfield & Banks have become one of my favorite lines since they were introduced to me on this channel when Sebastian did a Zoom interview with the founder back during Covid lock down days. Personal favorite is Bohemian Lime.
Really appreciate Jessica's thoughts. Bohemian Lime definitely up there for me. Zingy is certainly the word! 😄 Looking forward to more info on Island Lush in the future!
I really enjoy that G&B showcases different botanicals from different places in Australia. I have been lucky enough to visit Australia, and love Bohemian Lime for that reason as it reminds me of summertime at Byron Bay.
The launch timing of Purple Suede makes sense if you think about Australia being in the southern hemisphere. It was right at the beginning of winter for them while it was early summer for us. I really need to try this house. I haven't tried anything from them yet and your top 3-4 all sound amazing to me. I guess I need to get a discovery set.
I am getting addicted to your channel. I love the content, even your 2-3 years old videos...Great. Great comparison videos with all In-House & designers videos. I would like to see more behind-the-scenes videos like fairs, meeting with the perfumers, designers etc. stuff like that.
You are the best Fragrances reviewer ever Sebastian.. I have watched tens maybe hundreds of you videos, you are Uptodate, your videos and reviews are very informative, nice lists, new discoveries, I personally discovered many brands through your channel and your suggestions, including this house, definitely you are the best Sebastian.. I haven’t tried this house yet, but it sounds good quality niche house, I must try some of their offerings… Best wishes from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦..
You are definitely MISSING OUT not travelling to Australia. It is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever been to. Lucky to say I live here now❤.
Hi Sébastien! I have smelled some but I have to dig in to this brand more. Oh Sébastien I 've ordered Tango from Masque milano and I am loving it. Thank God because it was a blind buy. But your suggestion never disappointed me 🥰 I love especially the dry down where it gets a bit sweeter. Thank you for this gorgeous suggestion 💕
I'm in Jessica's camp with the powdery fragrances. I mostly dislike them, aside from a very select few that usually have other characteristics to go with it, such as Amouage Reflection Man and Guerlain LIDGE.
Thanks for reviewing Goldfield and Banks! I first sampled Bohemian Lime and I was pleasantly surprised but I feel it leans a bit too masculine to my taste. Second one I tried is Sunset Hours. Sadly, I only used a few sprays of my 8ml decant because It’s too girly and nothing in it to balance the sweetness. I’m recently feeling to try more vanilla scents and so looking forward to try Silky Woods ❤️
If you live in Australia like I do . . Or have traveled to Australia . . The most amazing smelling native plants you smell every day . . It’s a beautiful part of the world to live 😊
Well, hello Jessica, how lovely to see you and hear your views on this brand. I hope you visit us again soon. I have PRM, but I may have to get Sunset Hour to try that layering combo :-)
Very interesting ingredients native to Australia. I’m also interested on the agar wood and lavender grown in Australia. I’ll try to look for a discovery set to see if I can find something I like.
I just got a bottle of Island Rush from Maxaroma for 35% off blind buy. Hope it’s good, not much information on it out there, guess it was a Harods exclusive.
Not sure what’s going on loved silky woods sample bought it from so advant guarde but bottle is not near as strong or long lasting. But sunset hour is my fav too. I might need to try purple suede but not sure if I like leather.
I just bought one was it refomulated again ? When i look up the packaging it said parfume concentrate mine said only parfume also the label is not attached to the bottle its seperatly in the box ????
I am sure Australia is beautiful but I am in love with Europe and because I don’t have tons of money to travel whenever I get the urge, I would rather go to Italy or France.
I am curious to know what are the few powdery fragrances that Jessica said she kikes. Also, I am sure Jessica has heard this Mikkion times, but she has stunning eyes 👀
I’m not a fan of white sandalwood either . . That’s the only one I don’t like from goldfield and banks . . I can’t say what it smells like to me though lol
Dimitri explains it in the store presentation later in the video: the brass bottles feature a botanical(s) that is not native to Australia but is processed there.
Ok to the point? ARE THESE "Unisex" or is there any actual "MENS COLOGNES" with this brand? This issue never seems to be addressed on this channel or most popular fragrance reviewers channels. Ugh. I'm a MAN, I want a "Man's Cologne" not ANY "unisex" baloney or ANYTHING a woman would be willing to wear. I'm guessing all these are that unisex junk so I'm not sold.
these are all UNSEX. Unisex doesn't mean your dick will fall off if you are a man and wear it! So come on I dare you to wear them. You might actually like some!

Byron bay is a hole of a place lmfao

@@ThePerfumeGuy Thank you.
Thanks for recording & sharing especially that masterclass event 🫶 Nice to see what to expect from such an event 👍😃
More Jessica please. Great observations that expand and compliment yours, Sebastion.

Listening to Dimitri adds that added excitement about great scents. Makes me feel more appreciative of the scents just knowing the background.
Purple Suede and Silky Woods are my favorites from the line.
Thanks for the goldfield and banks event video. I didn’t end up driving over that day but hope to come check out ZGO soon!
You are definitely MISSING OUT not travelling to Australia. It is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever been to. Lucky to say I live here now❤.
I really enjoy your videos with Jessica! 👍🏼
Oh you would fall in love with Australia. especially Queensland, Byron Bay, Noosa and Sydney.…

Love they featured Boronia in Southern Bloom😍
Oh yes!!
Fabulous reflection of a wonderful brand. Very authentic and creative. The top 3 are winners in anyone's world
Pacific Rock Moss and Wood Infusion are the best
Which powdery ones does Jessica actually like? I’m curious to see what breaks the mold. I have trouble with powdery scents as well.
Jessica is beautiful and also has a very nice voice.
I'm in Jessica's camp with the powdery fragrances. I mostly dislike them, aside from a very select few that usually have other characteristics to go with it, such as Amouage Reflection Man and Guerlain LIDGE.
I really enjoyed the talk at the end.

I've still not tried any G&B fragrances. I've really wanted to try the lime one, though. And this video makes me want to try a few others!
Loved this review :) Thanks Sebastian!
Both bohemian lime and silky woods surprised me happily.
I’ve been wanting to get Bohemian Lime, but the consensus is that longevity is dismal. I might get a decant and see for myself.
I’ve done a masterclass with Dimitri online a few months ago . . I learned so much about fragrance from him ❤
Oh awesome!!
Haven't had a chance to try this house but thanks for sharing
Great video and really informative!

I have two on my radar, Silky Woods, Sunset
Same. I want both of those fragrances.
My favorites from this brand. I like to wear Silky woods during autumn/winter and Sunset Hour for spring/summer.
Hi Sebastian, I don't know of you made a review about "Parle moi de Parfum". I sampled some of their fragrances and they are good
No Ingenious Ginger here?! Was it not released yet?
I have Silky Woods because of your review! I love it❤ and I think I will give Purple Suede a try ❤
Please do!
Pacific Rock Moss is my favorite fragrance
Hello Sébastien, what the best alternative Tom ford tobacco oud...
Laudano nero tiziana terenzi?
It's so tough to find an alternative. I need to find one.
Wouldn’t have classed purple suede as unique - it sounds strikingly like Moustache EDP and Tuxedo
But it's nothing like Moustache EDP or Tuxedo!
I just bought one was it refomulated again ? When i look up the packaging it said parfume concentrate mine said only parfume also the label is not attached to the bottle its seperatly in the box ????
Sunset hour ❤
My G&B favourite def is Wood Infusion, I'm mostly into dry, resinous woods, not the gourmand'ish guy
I am sure Australia is beautiful but I am in love with Europe and because I don’t have tons of money to travel whenever I get the urge, I would rather go to Italy or France.
Totally agree. Europe is the best place to travel 👍👍
Bottle u have n the new version of pacific rock moss has been reformulated newer version much better
Thanks for sharing your video take care 😇
What an amazing and well spoken man. Never got married I see. =)
Have you tried ingenious ginger??
Sexy but doesn’t last long
Australia is the Wild Wild West!
I am curious to know what are the few powdery fragrances that Jessica said she kikes. Also, I am sure Jessica has heard this Mikkion times, but she has stunning eyes 👀
same
I’m not a fan of white sandalwood either . . That’s the only one I don’t like from goldfield and banks . . I can’t say what it smells like to me though lol
😂
What's the significance of the brass colored bootless vs the clear ones?
A different collection for sure!! :)
Dimitri explains it in the store presentation later in the video: the brass bottles feature a botanical(s) that is not native to Australia but is processed there.
What about mystic bliss?
It's not out yet but soon!!
@@ThePerfumeGuy my local perfumery worth only niche fragrances has it because G&B gave it to them early so I will be the first one to review it
Where's Dana Sandu?
I think wattle is acacia, not mimosa.
Ask Dimitri!
Yes, wattle is acacia but in other parts of the world (outside of Australia) it’s also called mimosa.
In the USA the tree commonly called "mimosa" is Albizia julibrissin, an Asian native. It has very sweetly-fragranced fluffy pink blooms.
silky wood is definitively superior
Oh yes!!
Silky wood 💓
White Sandalwood is horrific😡 maybe it’s thyme…large bottle👎🏾
Ha! I don’t care for it either!!
Ok to the point? ARE THESE "Unisex" or is there any actual "MENS COLOGNES" with this brand?

Who would have thought Amanda Seyfried was into perfume huh ? 😝
Its called a Wattle Tree because thats its real name
