Super underrated guide. First time wow player here (both retail and classic) and was overwhelmed learning the game, let alone my class.
This covered so many things other hunter guides didn't, from progression of what professions to level first and how to transition to what ideal "endgame professions", and key things not to miss, etc, while still being a concise.

You can actually use some abilities when in Shadowmeld. You can use the various Track abilities. Track Hidden, Track Humanoids etc, it doesn't break shadowmeld.
dwarf is still better tho you take off viper stings, serpent stings, break blind, remove crippling poisons, feral and war bleeds. Shadow meld is only good in wrath where it acts as a second feighn death.

NOT ENOUGH GUNS! Dude my complaint was where are the BOWS? Now in phase 2 the epic is a gun, phase 1 the easily obtainable blue bis was a GUN =(

In phase2 yes, but in phase 3 and 4 there will be bow/xbows bis again.

Dwarves would fight you, but I’m a shadowmeld maximalist 😁
Shadowmeld is the best racial you can get on any class... Unless you're talking about care bear number crunching. Edit: or priest racials.

@@Western_TV yeah, but I will say if your class can kite or slip away enough you can meld and the enemy will be dumbfounded. I’ve had some narrow encounters where I broke out and a quick geography LoS + meld got me safe!
I recently was seeing my doom in a skirmish and took off, got a hill between me and the attacker, and poof! Where’d I go?! :D

Any new 1-50 guide?
im not sure if ill make 1 for this phase. But if you are starting at level 1 with no gear, id recommend going Beast Mastery and doing as many incursions as possible to get to honored by the time you hit 50, that way you get that 6-piece tier set from Emerald Wardens, which is super good at 50. Mix and match quests + instances and you should hit 50 fast because of the XP buff they gave everyone !
Aspect of the Viper is not a rune, but a skillbook dropped from a rare in Scarlet Monestary. Wowhead is just not updated.
No point even looking at wrist runes... not for this phase.

Aspect of the Viper drops from the last boss in SM Graveyard, not the rare. So much easier to get than we originally thought.

Elitepvpjerks has all of those updated lvling guides for free. Imo all of them always get unsynced from the lvl eventually.
