this scene is genuinely, one of my favourite scenes in fringe, so clever and so heart filled. and dont get me started on the acting. walters hand to his lips, just says everything!!!
Probably my fave scene in Fringe, at least one of my fave ones. I remember it hitting me like a truck the first time I saw it. One of the top episodes of the show.
MyShows AreOn "I forget things... names... places... Connections I was able to make so easily... dangling ... just out of my reach" - that's the best scene of him.
It's hard to beat Nimoy, but Lloyd did it. This and the Alt-Astrid story about the Astrids and the relationships with their fathers was one of the first times that I high functioning autism depicted so perfectly.
The look on Walter's face when it dawns on him how he's affected this man's life...wow. There was 1000 different ways Walter's actions affected the world and people, and this was just one of the many ways it showed it. Christopher Lloyd is know mostly for comedies, but this reminds you how good of an actor he is. Check out his scenes in the "NCIS" episode "The Arizona". Give good actors good material, and they'll show you what they're made of.
Personne n'a fait le rapprochement entre retour vers le futur qui se passe en 1985 et la date de la mort du fils du personnage joué par Christopher Lloyd dans l'épisode qui est mort en 1985.... ☺️
Jeez. No comment on this monumentally great scene, yet? Guess everyone's too busy obsessing over their ship-du-jour... Some fans don't deserve this show.

Great Scott, Walter!!!
When Dr.Emmet Brown meet Dr.Walter Bishop
The one broke time, the other space. Honestly the best duo
2 amazing actors.. my favourite episode of fringe so far!!!
Arguably John Noble's greatest scene on Fringe, and certainly Fringe's greatest guest star.

GREAT SCOTT, doc what happened!?
EPIC SCENE!!!
Saving one son cost the life of another, thats crazy. makes me wanna watch my step whenever I do something.
This scene reminds me of Lost: Sawyer telling Jack about his father.
Yes, that one was amazing.
Roscoe "they told me it was nobody's fault". Walter knows damn well whose fault it was.
@milovy Agreed, there's so much beauty in this show but most of the time I just see nonsensical complaining. I love this scene.
