One hopes that Jeremy Irons is a zero waster ! I am trying very very hard to be a zero waster. It is incredible how for example shops put your goods in plastic bags and think I'm strange when I say no plastic, I have a reusable bag!! Some countries do better than others, but we can all learn from each other as we all seem to do one or two things well. WOW this film should be watched in every school.
Very interesting documentary, thank you for sharing But got to say that at 1:22:07 when asked about where all that plastic goes, it's funny to hear such an answer, interviewer : Where does all this plastic go? Developed countries answer to the problem : We ship it to "prospective markets", we ship it to China ...... So basically we use more energy to relocate the problem somewhere else where no one is gonna ask about what we're gonna do about the plastic, each country should OWN UP to its waste and look for a truly sustainable solution to the waste management problem, unfortunately most of the countries hide behind "recycling ", ship the problem to other countries with weak legislations and big companies take advantage of that to create ecological disasters overseas while "financing" and "helping" to transition to a "Green" world.
