@@Uk.wildman - You do mean the LGBTQTIABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ, right? I like to illustrate it's absurdity by extending it to cover everything possible. Nah. They'd rather stay insane. They enjoy the company of their miserable cohorts. Misery loves company. Do you know of the best sasquatch channel on UA-cam? It's run by a professional hunting and fishing guide named Steve Isdahl. Ever seen a sasquatch? I've been close enough to touch one twice. Those were pretty hairy situations to say the least.
Great video Dan, for your fishing, it's all about location and bait. You're using an open water fishing rig for a very contained area. Try a simple small hook, small lead weight, bobber (floater) and Red Wigglers. Set your depth depending on your water depth, stay about a foot above the bottom, put a worm on your hook, and toss it in, sit back and watch your floater go under and reel in the fish. GOOD LUCK, Dan...
English Dan, you are being that person because you are the man buddy. I love your channel and keep on inspiring people to camp and clean up after themselves.👍
Dan you have the patience of a saint. If someone camped that close to me on a solo camp the next person to fish there would be pulling him out of the stream and noticing he had weights around his ankles.
You need to get a few maggots Dan on a smallish size 16 or 18 hook and you’ll see what’s in there as the artificial baits you’ve got will only attract a few fish and they don’t live in all lakes (swap the maggots for worms, bread or sweetcorn for ease of transport)
Looks like a cracking bit of land, hope you have some great camps there! As I've said before, thanks for encouraging me to find a permission get out there and be that person. I did just that and won't look back. Stay safe Dan atvb 👍🦊
Arghhhh….. what a spot. Defiantly one for a lure rod. Perch and pike. Loving the videos and reviews. Currently recovering from knee surgery 👎🏻👎🏻 your video’s are keeping me motivated. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great wee vid as always Dan,good to see you have a new piece of private woodland to camp in. As usual down to earth vid, dont listen to negative fedback/comments just be who you are, your doing a great job helping to lift up peoples spirits, not everyone can get up and outdoors, you bring that to life for those who cannot.
Nice for land Owner aloeingl you to camp there nice woodland you lost a woodland but gained a new woodland good luck at your new woodland thanks Dan for a great video
Great video. I'm sure someone else will have said on here but try again with the fishing, but float fish with maggots to start off with. Theres loads of "float fishing for beginners" videos on here and i watched them to start fishing about 4 years ago, and love fishing now. Camping and fishing for me fit perfectly together and stick with it. 👍
Ahhhh ......fishing. I've been a fisherman for 25yrs. To blend in fishing and camping I'd recommend Carp fishing. Great scenery and characters. Some good advice regarding fishing.....the tackle is designed to catch the fisherman and NOT the fish !
My 2 main hobbies, all things camping and all things fishing, nothing better than camping on the coast and catching something to eat, looks like a really nice place to camp, hope it works out for you Dan 👍
Randomly picking vids off your play list. Very honest and good to watch. Don't mind the negative people, they are not worth the drama. Keep doing your thing!
Looks like a lovely spot there. Funnily enough I bought a rod last week. Not too sure about that set up though as it seems a bit much for some simple, beginner coarse fishing🤔 Aint fished since a teenager, so should be interesting 😂 A bit of simple float fishing is perfect for me. I've got friends & family who are in to it proper, but I've always been happy just sitting there watching a float
Great to see you doing a bit of fishing dan .. your spinner was a bit big for that river .. best using a smaller spinner and when you get fed up spinning swap over and do some bottom fishing with maggots or worms maybe put on a swim feeder filled with maggots .. i love nothing more than a wee wild camp and a spot of fishing by the loch side😊
I could spend hours sitting there fishing, it looks a lovely spot to be, I think you would enjoy fishing Dan, it’s a very relaxing hobby that you could camp with as well
Great video mate 👍 you want a cheap course fishing setup, either float or bottom feeder with maggots worms or micro pellet, you won't catch bugger all on that 😂. Keep up the videos pal.
😂😂 so funny Dan. The person who sold you those lures caught you hook line and sinker 😂. They are miles to big. You need a license to catch crayfish. They are free. I can see you now catching and cooking them on your firebox. Made up for you Take care young Dan🔥
Good spot Dan and camp try a spinner Dan or mepps from your fishing shop they will explain how to use them or you can use maggots or worms with float attached you will get there mate if your ever up in Scotland and pretty close by I would camp with you and show you how to fish doesn’t need to be confusing all you need are the basics and you will get there all the best buddy and take care 👍👌❤️🔥🔥
I actually went to smell the screen 😂 to be fair I just woke up at 3am. First day of a fortnight off I sleep as long as I can. So a bit groggy 😂 another great video. I’ve promised myself I’ll spend at least 4 nights out of the next 16 in a forest. Gonna scout out some local land first then maybe hit Thetford or Epping. Would love to find a nice bit of permission land as a regular spot. Used to know a farmer but it was a long time ago and I’m struggling to find him again! Great vid though, lovely little spot. Looking forward to the next one.
You encourage people to get up and be the person who will try camping and what you are doing is encouraging people to live a healthier life out in the fresh air, getting great exercise and maybe getting their kids off the games and social media, again getting fresh air and exercise, 😊 Its BRILLIANT, WHAT YOU ARE DOING, 😊
Dan fishing is an art try using a float with either worm bread or maggot ...I don't think the river has pike or trout in it but looks fab for fishing ...chub will be plentyful I there mate ...
Get some crayfish traps out Dan. Very tasty over those flames with a bit of wild garlic and olive oil. Signal crayfish are a pest to our rivers and streams
It's awful that when you forget people's names when you have known them for years, it happens to the best of us though. Even worse when you are introducing people to each other and their name slips your mind. Camping there would be too noisy for me, I would be up all night!
WOW! What a little hidden gem of a spot theer. I think it would be great to get into fishing, if the interest grabs you because camping and fishing go hand in hand really.
Cracking video again Dan thanks for sharing keep meaning to ask about that cup with the cover you yse I know you did say what it was but bugger me if I can remember
Love all of your updates fella, if you're right handed you need to change over the handle on the reel, simply unscrew the blue thumb nut on the right hand side of the reel and pull the handle out of the left and fit in reverse. 👍
my son and I use one of those fire boxes to keep bugs away when we are crabbing here in north Florida, they are real good for keeping the no-see-um''s away. We crab at night
That’s how I like my sausage well cooked you could get tench perch carp pike and cray fish it’s nice to see you out and about Dan you keep telling people to get out and some camping we need to encourage more people Dan great video as always
The lure might be good for catching pike or maybe a perch in most rivers in the uk. Crayfish are tasty btw. There's an invasive crayfish in uk streams and rivers, catching them would be good
Yep nice fishing ,strangers f..noise go deeper take along a spiritual or inspiring book ,God Bless still have not out yet ,have a cheap pop up site for base August.
Hey Dan don't feel bad I'm 61 and just now getting into fishing. From what I see, those drop shots look like a saltwater rig and I doubt fish big enough for those are intact water . Just get you some worms and some smaller hooks and tie on the line and put a worm on the hook and go for it. Dwayne
By the way Dan, if you think your not too good at fishing. When I first got started I went trout fishing with some friends and 50 yards up from us the state was stocking the river. Everybody filled they're stringers and all I caught was the flu 😂😂😂 trust me you just relax and have fun , that's all that matters Dwayne
I don’t know much about fishing either but when you throw the line out you just relax until the line jiggles letting you know that you caught something…🤔🤗
That’s why they call it fishing not catching mate, getting out is the most important. Crayfish are fantastic eating, get a small collapsible creel and put it in overnight.
Cool new spot you need to find out what kind of fish and bait to use for them…I’m from Michigan and we fish here from childhood.. Much more fun if you are catching something. Have fun stay safe.
Nothing wrong with the rod and reel but those lures are huuuuuge, you need some small spinners or try maggots or worms because those lures that you have will scare fish away rather than attract them. Great video, lovely spot and down to earth as usual, nice one.
Love your vids you crack me up, (forgetting your pals name part), i am the same, that pitch looks wicked, anglers would give their right arm to camp/fish there, that rig looks like its for predatory fish perch/zander/pike, or sea rig, try a simple waggler float, couple of light weights a small sized non barbed hook 14-18, and a maggot, then sit back relax and watch the bites as your float bobs up and down, then gently lift the rod as the float disappears underwater, can catch anything from roach/perch/chub/dace/carp/rudd, have a look at (how to start fishing - a guide to your first days fishing ) by carl, once you catch you WILL be hooked, you will also attract more subscribers as you bring fishing into the mix, keep going pal, great stuff.
I go fishing in rivers using. Tenkara rods for trout. It’s a great way to be outdoors and away from people too Small rivers Brooks is where I fish. Using dry fly method on tenkara. Not hard. Very simple
Nice to see a decent land Owner allowing you to camp there +1
It's not a 100% I can camping there more but I will just take it one camp at a time
Brought back memories of camping and exciting fishing activity! 😄
Everybody should get out into Nature as much as possible , It is good for us , great for mental health issues and a great way to de- stress .🙂
Definitely I got alot of shit going off my life this is what I need
Nothing better than night fishing then when it's cold in morning go for a dip
It's like a bath.
Luke warm but, it's warmer than the break of dawn
Maybe the LGBTQ community should take your advice
That's y I started camping it really helps my mental health 🙂 🙃

I do it...boat camping 😊👍
That's why they call it fishing & not catching. 👍🏼 Beesides, you need a whole different lure for cray fishing...😂
That landowners done you a treat there Dan. It looks an amazing permission plot.
Randomly picking vids off your play list. Very honest and good to watch. Don't mind the negative people, they are not worth the drama. Keep doing your thing!
Looks like a great spot to camp. Don't give up on the fishing too soon. Once you start catching them it becomes addictive.
