Nice job there. Brickwork is like black magic 😂 I've no clue but would like to tackle a small garden wall. I like your presentation and you explain well.
Thanks so much mate, really appreciate your support! Get some bricks mate and have a go. Or if your close to Derby, Nottingham way, you'll have to pop up and I'll give you a quick 1 to 1 😉💪
Smallest extension I've built is one meter by two meters. Recently layed new cast iron air bricks . Custermer got them off the Internet . Imperial size and looked great against a new yellow stock brick . Bricks looked just like reclaims
Fiddly job with lots of head scratching to tie into all that legacy stuff. Can't imagine many would want to take on jobs like that Izzy but it'c coming along nicely.
Cheers Matt, appreciate it! It's one of those jobs where you come across issues the more you do, so it's just about overcoming lil problems and making sure everything works the best
😂😂😂 yea quick to that one wasn't I🤦 to be fair, I what I said , is exactly what I said to the previous evening to him. The videos recently are more about myself and my work mate rather than brickwork now...I thought I'd keep it in. Maybe on reflection it wasn't quite right...who knows. But, can't be bothered to deal with ag from people. 😂 Appreciate your support mate, and yea the neighbors on that job were always at the window 😂😂😉
Cheers fella ! Your a good man and hard working man producing quality work !! And quality always shines through ! You gotta lovit when the neighbours give ya a flash or 2 😂😂 👍
Snug little work area there Izzy . We just had 14 ton of shite on the drive , all the materials then the concrete wagon and grab wagon turned up together 🤯😆🧱👍🏽

Great vid mate, tell drew to sack marines off, When I was do my training for paras, I realised it would take me 10 years to make anything close to what we earn as brickys 😂👍👍💲
Ah Harry mate, I've told him. But he really has his heart set on it. Money ain't everything as we both know, and if he's got that dream, power to the lad💪 although will be gutted when he dips 😂
They are really hard faced mate, almost like semi engineering. However to counter this, the mix was slightly weaker than your standard 4n1 Hope your well Jim
Couldn't agree more with you mate. However, I'm only provided the materials, I don't order them in. I turn up with a trowel and a drawing and that's it. I did suggest using lime, or at least white cement. But it's not down to me ☺️
@@IzzytheBrickySadly for the owner, they'll find themselves in trouble in the next few years with damp which will then cost more money to rectify. If they'd chosen the correct materials in the first place, it probably would've been cheaper!
Hello dude the work you produce along with the videos are great for any up and coming bricklayers. All the best in the future 👍🏻
Cheers mate appreciate it! That's what it's all about mate 🤜🤛 thanks bud, you too
Lovely little project Izzy. It's going to look the extension was always there. 👍🏻
Thanks Wayne! Something a bit different to what I'm use to all fun and games though 😊
Even though it is a small extension, it had its complications - your problem solving ability is really sharp 😁👌👏👏👏❤️
Thank you so much mate I really appreciate it 😀 have a brilliant Friday buddy!

What trowel do you use mate
It’s a cut down shovel
10" Marshalltown and 13" narrow London Marshalltown plastic handle mate
I went down Ibstock bricks they were terrible ranged from 65 to 72
Perfect size extension for a hobbit job
😂😂😂😂
Shouldn't those bricks be built in lime?

This is a no-no for historic buildings. The owner appears to be ignorant of their needs. Lime mortar should be used. Plastic air vents look awful.
Good job I'm swapping over the plastic air vents 😊
@@IzzytheBricky Ornate fretwork-style would be very fitting.
