This is the type of drumming I like to see Thomas play, groove oriented patterns, not just speed blasting.....which is impressive in its own right. But this is friendlier to the senses. And its pretty damn impressive how through all that, they manage to find the 3 together almost every time. Some fuzzed out funk guitar would have complimented that feel.

ventende Pardon? I have pretty bad Tinnitus and frequency damage due to not wearing ear protection in my younger days when I played in stupid loud rock bands. . I wear ear protection now... 25 years too late. WEAR EAR PROTECTION GUYS!
Same here, but my hearing tests are all normal. My audiogram shows no signs of hearing loss. Quite many people with tinnitus and hyperacusis have no measurable hearing loss, except from what audiologists expectst to see when you get older. We all loose hearing by time. Tinnitus is a tricky condition that can strike in different ways. The hyperacusis part does get better by time, but the tinnitus seems to be a never ending story.

As soon I realised that it was becoming an issue I started wearing ear protection religiously, and it has since disappeared entirely, albeit over a long period of time. I never had any noticeable hearing loss though.
Man, when Thomas stops playing, and your only hear the other guy, you really hear the dudes timing fall apart. Goes to show, the drums barely matter, if you don’t have the skills. Thomas has such a solid pocket.
