NBA All-Star voting is done and the league has revealed who players, fans and media voted for. That means we get to see who everyone likes and dislikes. The most interesting results come from players themselves because it shows who they think is overrated or underrated in the NBA. - Спорт

I used to think the same thing, and with the #'s he puts up I agree. But with time passing on he is just proving more and more to me that his numbers don't lead to wins. I love Siakam had him in fantasy the last 3 years, but if he is your main guy you're not going anywhere. He has Vanfleet, OG, and Scottie with a pretty decent bench and they still sit at 5 games under 500.

@@yisroelkonovitch Yes they made it to the playoffs as the 5th seed and what happened??? They were booted in the first round so i could care less what seed they were. Kawhi is a difference maker and he brought them a chip (tarnished cause had Klay and KD not been hurt the warriors win that IMO), but ever since Kawhi left and Pascal has been the #1 option they have achieved nothing. Luka all by himself carried the Mavs to the Western Conference finals. Pascal by himself has proven thus far he is not capable of doing that.

anyone who watched Dinwiddie hit game winners in BKN knew what Dinwiddie is about. He's underrated in my book. Just had a rough go with injuries and Washington

@@TheyHateWuka Ya'll lost the Porzingas trade, like you could have traded him for something better. Wizards won the trade because Beal stayed in Washington because of him and Kuzma has said if Beal and Porzingas stay, he will also stay. All three of them are averaging 20 plus points and have a above 0.500 record when they are playing together.

Curious about the data on this one not to dispute you but because I feel like knowing how the players vote is HUGE information. It shows so clearly that we don't have good accuracy as fans about how good certain players are. You can see how big that is. If Kyle Kuzma made an all-star, it means Paolo Banchero also should. The both have almost similar raw stats and advance stats. But the thing is, Paolo plays in a bad team but Kyle plays in an already established team. Thats why I think he's not an all star for sure.
The thing is Kuzma is helping his team win and they are the 9th seed, and they were playing pretty bad at first. Paolo isn't and the Magic is the 13th seed.

With a stellar top 4 of giannis, embiid, Tatum, and Durant. A fan base was always going to be angry. In all reality no one remembers all star starters. In the end it’s all star appearances that matter for legacy not all star starts.

And Klay has that Mamba Mentality that Kobe and numerous other star players who work hard and never give up had!
He’s not an all star though. There are so many guards in the West that are better than him, and this is coming from a Warriors fan. The following guys are better than Klay this season: Steph, Luka, Ja, SGA, Fox, Dame, D Book, Anthony Edwards, CJ McCollum, and personally I’d put Poole ahead of him as well (but that is debatable). That’s at least 9 guards ALL in the West that are better this season than Klay Thompson.

Why has the media even so much voting power?
The media covers the NBA every day. Without the media, the NBA wouldn’t be as big and popular. They generate revenue for the NBA via TV rights and ads
its crazy that a guy averaged 27 and 10 assist is not an all star... lead the leage in most points and assist last season as well.. not a trae fan but damn he is underrated..
he's also shooting 41%.. so he's launching a lot of shots to get 27pts and as a result his team is 25-25. The Hawks have gone from conference finals contenders to.500 because he's shooting so terrible this year
People, remember, it's all inside one conference not the whole NBA. This is why I was a bit shocked Jokic was first over Giannis or KD.

I wouldn't bench Tatum over Embiid. Tatum has been beating Embiid and the 76ers in the playoffs since he got in the league. If positions didn't exist Embiid should start over Kyrie.

Yeah I gotta agree with Trae Young being kinda overrated. Like yeah, he can put up numbers that will make him look like a star, but I don't think he'll ever contribute to winning basketball as the star of a team. He would have to take more of a backseat role with a team to find more success, but I'm not even sure he'd be able to have a solid impact if he's not the primary ball handler and shot taker. If he's the 2nd or 3rd option, what is he really bringing to your team? Honestly I just don't think highly of players whose only role is scoring and can't play any defense.
