But, who is UA-cam's worst family channel? Not all parents deserve kids. Imagine being just born and being called ugly by your own mother
And sure, the baby was too young to know or remember what was being said, but that kid is going to grow up and find out that their parents said that, not only on video, but posted on the internet for all the world to see.

I don't know who is the worst family channel, but if you want to be successful you just have to find a winning combination. Being a UA-camr is like owning a business, and you need to give people content they want to see. Tough part could be starting and growing your channel, but when I did I had really good strategy (When I post something, I would use a little bit of Famester to make that content go viral immediately). So far it shows really good results, especially on my Shorts channel.

he's not allowed on the internet because what he could find is the truth. that his real dad has been fighting for him ever since he's been taken away from him. Growing up in a Church of England household, in Australia, in the 1970s and 80s, there were times I was denied dinner for misbehaving. My father grew up in a similar, yet harsher, environment in 1950s Australia. It was disgusting then, and disgusting now, but it's also an old pattern among certain groups of people, again in my experience, which seems to perpetuate through generations. I bet this happened to the 'parents' from 8Passengers during their childhood. Hopefully gaol time will teach her some lessons about being an actual loving and compassionate parent.

If there's a petition I'm signing. I'm not against them but there has to be a limit on the type and amount of content that features children in family channels.
I agree, or at least that there should be a limit to how much a minor under the age of 18 should be exposed on a family labeled channel. That way a 16-year-old can upload their own video and be alright, but if it’s a family account, then there should be a time limit to how long the child is on screen.
And even then I feel like if they’re making money, then they HAVE to set up a fund where a percentage goes to the child or children depending on how many. That way at the very least the kids will have some security.
A bit of a stretch, but these ‘family channels’ don’t focus on the family, they just focus on making themselves look good and seeking justification.

The 8 passengers thing is so bad cuz you can't help a child grow with negative reinforcement. Yes there needs to be consequences of their mistakes to show that you don't do this, but you also have to reward them when they do something right. Just punishment upon punishment is not the right way.

I really feel for the kids who are on these. Even Hollywood treats kids better.
ETA: Hollywood (for as corrupt and reprehensible it can be) has rules and laws in place that dictate how long children are permitted to work and how much of earnings they generate is *specifically* designated for them and can't be accessed by the parents (iirc, it's about 30%). UA-cam exists outside these rules. There are no ways to ensure parents filming their children for social media will follow these laws. We have seen time and time again in Hollywood that these kids are exploited. Without those laws, they'd be worse off. UA-cam family channels require even stricter policies when it comes to profitting off the birth of their child or exploiting their childhood. Kids deserve better from those in authority and need to be protected from exploitation.

The Prince Family is horrendous. It was just like The Royalty Family but it's way worse. Complaining about their child's abnormalities when they were born. I can't imagine how much trauma the child will earn in the future. I just wish that family youtube channels actually show what normal families do whilst entertaining the viewers instead of hurting their family and getting no views. I just wish there was an option to report these kind of channels.

I had a horrible family channel, once. Unfortunately, the “family” aspect is no longer an available resource for me to make content. Turns out that the “locking my family in a basement for 2 weeks” challenge was poorly received by the public. I’ve since been forced into a life of making public apologies to amend my past actions. The world has not forgiven me yet, but I know with 70+ apologies now - forgiveness is right around the corner. I’m sorry, I miss my wife and kids.

The Daddy o Five and Eight Passengers channels are so depressing. These monsters had kids and used them for online fame and fortune. May they all rot in a cell and may those kids heal. As much as they can anyway from events that tragic.

Edit: color me surprised, Ruby made Daddy-o-five look normal. The crazy thing is I actually heard of the case, but didn't know it was Ruby as I just learned about her existence. That's messed up.
These family channels are just extreme examples of who these people really are. At least with the video evidence, these horrible people were caught and the children given a, hopefully, better life.

Imagine: from the start of your birth to whatever age you are today, your ENTIRE life, you've had a camera forcefully shoved in your face while your parents commentate and document every single thing you do and put out on the internet for millions to see. It just seems like a recipe to either a spoiled, or mentally damaged future
Family channels like these do them more harm than good.
Even if they’re swimming in millions of dollars, they start having mistrust issues, explosive drama about petty things, manipulate each other for content and ultimately destabilize the supporting structures of relationships, friendships and anything in between…
Me personally, I think they get what they deserve. If it weren’t for the constant need for attention they could just make a couple of million bucks, invest into real estate or something else and live, quietly, off of that for the rest of their lives…. However, they keep stretching the line until they breakup for real, have to get divorce lawyers into the matter, sometimes can’t decide what to do with the kids and there’s just a whole bunch of expenses for everyone involved, like going to a therapist, getting on antidepressants, etc…
