- All of these are pure speculation on if they were to add third kits. Although considering we still have 5 weapons without kits, 2 new weapons that will most likely come with there second kits and 1 more season remaining I highly doubt we're getting any :(

i think they should prioritize giving new kits to weapons that were newly introduced in splatoon 2-3. like Tentatek is cool, but i wanna see kits for weapons that dont rly get alot of representation

@@kado-2323 While it would be kind of funny, and Gloogas may be the Dualies that suit Ink Vac best (besides maybe Dousers), it's the number one special I'm really hoping it doesn't get...
Though what with it being a supportive special, and the S2 Kloogas having a supportive, it may very well be the most likely special. Oh wait, though I just remembered Vanilla 96, a somewhat similar weapon, has Vac, so that does decrease the chance somewhat, I'd reckon. Phew.
@@freuner-merris You see, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. By your logic, this would also decrease the chances of Gloogas getting Kraken. On the bright side, this would be less bad news for you than me because I would be happy with Kraken AND Ink Vac. I just hope they don’t do Super Chumps or Splattercolor Screen, because if it did, it would have defeated the purpose of not giving it Ink Vac. If you’re going to give me a bottom 5 “support” special, I would rather at least have fun with it.

As a dapple main, i still think that splat bomb and zooka is a bit on the "dream kit" side. A very probable kit and a more realistic one would be a nostalgic one. That being suction bomb and rain. Suction would be a great option for dapps coz it puts a great lot of pressure and gives space, wich is something dapples need, and rain can be used for cheap damage and quick kills and for self healing while in fights or to make more space for itself.
My dream tetra kit would be ink mines, beacons (to be annoying) or toxic mist (to combo with) and kraken. The dream is something like burst bomb and zipcaster but that's what tetra mains refer to as the "In your dreams tetra dualies".

I think the Squelchers getting Cooler is an interesting idea, giving the special to something that's much more skirmisher oriented compared to the Edit, which while having similar ranges has a more semi-backline playstyle. I could definitely see it in hyper-aggresive backless comps as a more fighting focused cooler option. Though you'd probably need to give it a pretty low points for special for it to be any good.

When i saw the DS cooler i was like “yeah, this guy gets it” and for the dmg part i would personally give it fizzy other than that we got the same thing in mind
With dousers, inkjet is definitely the special I'd want. as for subs, something like autobomb or torpedo is what I landed on. Mist could work, but it requires throwing it and then instantly fighting, and that weapon already has ink problems. (also I really hope the second kit is blue for some reason)
Hear me out, splat bomb fits perfectly with dapples' synergy. It can fix the poor firing range and push the mobility even further. And if you combo brust bomb with triple splashdown, it'll be hella fun. Maybe it's not perfect for everyone, but as a clear dapple lover back in Splatoon2, I really love how aggresive it could be sometimes.
And splat bomb+5.1ch on dapples would make it annoying af lol

inkjet dousers would be hype but i'd feel a little bad for the 2 annaki nova players as they watch their weapon get completely outclassed 😭I would personally give jet to splat dualies along with maybe splat bomb or something and then maybe give this rain or strikes. also dapples kraken pls

@@iaapmPlus, it seems unhealthy and counterproductive for the game to be prioritizing a Shooter’s viability over literally anything else. While I don’t like the concept of having to choose what bad weapon gets fixed, we unfortunately are in a very slow environment where most things are untouched and the things that are touched are barely touched at all. If anything, I support the goal of trying to get Dousers to outclass *_SQUEEZER_* (ambitious, I know).
I wanted dousers with fizzy/kraken since fizzy could combo well with its basic shots. I think Jet would have been sick (maybe too sick) on Tetras.
Ok wail on splat dualies would be really strong because it cancels end lag and lets you dodge 4 times like you’re tetra dualies.

Squelchers could really have any special other than the bad ones. (Screen, reef splashdown ect) I would much prefer ink storm instead of tacticooler. Tacticooler would work well with squelchers but anything that can help squelchers with its kill time would be better, also it had ink storm in s2 which worked well. As for the sub weapon, squelchers is very reliant on its sub weapon, anything that can give decent chip damage world be good, and also something that costs less of your ink tank considering how ink hungry squelchers are, so fizzy bomb or torpedo would work very good.
I'm betting Dousers will get Inkjet *because* they only have 1 dodge roll

For the dapple kit that honestly sounds very boring. For a weapon as fast as dapples giving it something like zooka seems like a waste when it's only going to lock it in place. That and I don't think anyone would run it over shot or squeezer. I think fizzy bomb kraken would cook way more for a dapple third kid, it would have tons of mobility and skill expression to the weapon while also giving it a unique playstyle.

They’d better not give squelchers tentamissiles. I hate that special. There’s barely any user input and it’s got the ability to be lethal with global range. If you get missiled at the wrong time it gets you. Trizooka is another big offender except you have to actually aim. The problem with that special is there’s no startup time.

Don't crap on my Dualie Squelchers. I see you conplain about the kill time, as you're showing me gameplay of you acting like you have the Splat Dualies. You need to take full advantage of it's range and slides. They aren't a slayer, they are purely a support weapon.

as someone who plays both cds and heavy edit in competitive, I don't really agree with your logic. First of all, dualie squelchers has never exactly cared that much about poking tools, which is the main purpose of torpedo. Second torpedo combos would be cool, but the ink cost is so high it would be safer every time to just be able to use your main weapon more, and at its optimal range the kill time honestly does not suffer at all. So still an ok sub for it but not ideal. Third, while yes, tacticooler is supportive, the only part of tacticooler the main weapon actually wants would be swim speed and qr + ss (although pretty much every weapon in the game would use the last two so nothing special there), as its dodge rolls negate the need for run speed, jump tech negates the need for intensify action because it gives you perfect accuracy. Compare that with heavy edit which already has a similar role to dualie squelchers as a hyper mobile midrange support, but that weapon benefits insanely well from every single tacticooler buff, so I just don't see any world where you would rather play tacticooler dualie squelchers over heavy edit, even the kiting capabilities aren't that different between the two with how fast hedit's strafe speed is. Fourth, we actually already have 3 midline support weapons with tacticooler, in heavy edit, dynamo, and h3, and while dynamo is a little farther from grace, and h3 is admittedly in the dumps until they make it a good main weapon, that's still a lot. I would prefer they give tacticooler to some more frontlines like undercover or aerospray, or backlines like ballpoint or jet squelcher (jet squelcher with burst tac would go stupid, and so would ballpoint with beakons and tac)
I also don't agree with the tetra and gloogas kits. Kraken is just such an incredible short range special, and it's on so many long and midrange options already. The singular short range weapon that has it is roller, which can't get the special because they didn't give it a poking tool, and its paint is just kind of crap (I say this as someone who 4 starred krakon). Therefore, giving gloogas kraken and tetra's splashdown, with your reasoning being that "we already gave kraken to a dualie" just doesn't make sense, since it works better much better for tetras than it does gloogas, and even if it didn't the two are fundamentally different weapons that would be using kraken for different purposes. Not only that, but if we're using existing kits as reasoning against certain kits, then splashdown is quite possibly one of the most baffling options, because enperries is already competing hard with tetras for the aggressive dualie playstyle, so it would just be redundant, not to mention that tetras themselves already have reefslider, which with the way they've been buffing it already acts so similar to splashdown. As for gloogas, yes, it likes the continuation aspect of kraken, but it already has the perfect continuation tool in booyah bomb, and has trouble capitalizing on the more important aspects of kraken like holding space (since it won't have a wall), so I feel like something that goes all the way in helping its paint and movement such as super chumps would work much better, especially considering the fact that chumps acts as mini walls to help glooga's extremely vulnerable dodge rolls. Also 96 gal already has kraken, if we give it to gloogas it will literally only be a worse version of 96 deco since wall is so important for its playstyle, and also since 96 is just straight up a better main weapon.
To be honest I never considered that heavy edit would outclass squelchers if it had tacticooler, but you are absolutely right. As well as gloogas and tetras special, I only realised I could make a sudo reference kit with big bubbler-fizzy for gloogas after posting it and now I kind of regret it(Also chumps make more sense too.) Plus with kraken, tetras would make much better use of it than gloogas.
