I dispute Question 1. It says 20% of 155 minus 8. NOT 20% of 155, minus 8. That comma is VERY important. The answer is 29.4 because 155-8= 147 and 20% of 147=29.4

the hour hand represents 360 degrees/12 hrs that means it will rotate 30 degrees per hr and the minute hand represents 360 degrees/ hr. that means it will rotate 6 degrees/ minute .The question is how many degrees will the large( minute hand have turned if it reaches 4:45 pm?. Take note that we are talking about minute hand, so use the information above to solve for it. Initially, we have solely 45 minutes, thus we're going to multiply this with 6 degrees to get 270 degrees. You can use this information to compute other examples like this. I dispute Question 1.
It says 20% of 155 minus 8. NOT 20% of 155, minus 8.

155 x 20% -8
Not
20% x (155-8)
