These are excellent videos, with clear explanations and a good variety of tests - something free tests on some sites seem to lack, with pretty much the same tests appearing in multiple categories - no way representative of the variety we can expect to face in live tests. One small, but fundamental criticism - the timers are way too short for anyone learning the "game" and will tend to encourage guessing and discourage the kind of deliberate and careful thought that should be taking place in a practice test. In practice it is more important to get the technique - the priority and sequence of operations right than to pass the test - so better to fail the test doing it right than to pass it by guessing quickly and correctly. Q4 can be B or D. Unless we have a look at the lines pattern, in which the middle part for D is narrower, while on the NET, the middle part is wider. But I think that would be a really weird if they used such a trick in this test...

Hi I find you videos really helpful and clear as I never done such a test I felt like I failed my interview already but than I watched watched this and I feel like it really make me understand and resolve. I find your videos on spational reasoning super useful! Since I'm about to take a major test but have a problem I can't seem to solve I was hoping you might have a minute to explain the following.
The problem is on distinguishing the numbered side panels, corners and folded sides of cubes and other forms. These side panels are totally blank without any reference such as patterns or colours. How can one distinguish these panel/corner/side numbers without any reference on where to start solving the problem?

2:50 best reasoning here is look the black hole and not the gray one, you see that the black hole are adjacent by each other meaning that in the answer you can't see all 3 black hole, and you can exclude the c one that can be a possibility if the white hole in the net image was black

Hi! Thank you so much for the tips, it has been really helpful. I can see this video is quite old now so this might not be useful, but just to clear up some confusion, I think for Q4 at 5:11 there might be a typo- I think it should be 'Which cube CANNOT be made from this net?' as A, B, and D are valid but C is not.
I also thought B, A and D are right, i guess there is a typo but idk how the top comment answered it correctly.

A cant be done, only B and D, if it helps use a frame of reference (with left and right), imagine you are walking on top of one of the faces and ask if i look to the right what should I see and if the line starts from the top or the bottom.

Q3 is not A ... folding the net the white rectangles do end up on the right side of the black triangles but their direction will be vertical and not horizontal. Or this does not mater in this case?

In question 4, why is the answer D? After examination I believe it could be both B or D

Q4 I thought D as well as B is fitting, and Q11 both A and B. Am I crazy?
@@iliyan-kulishev if you look at optoin B you will see that the top part has way more lines than the original. Q11 you need to pay attention to the letters on the shapes, thats how they want you to connect them c to c etc. if it wasnt for the letters then you would be correct

If you print out the net in question 4 you can see that D is not the only correct answer but also B.
B. can't be correct, look at the shape at the top compared to the one on the net
@@mcgentlematthew5607 The shape on the top matches the 2nd square down on the net just at a different angle? If you print out the net and try folding it you can turn it at an angle to show the cube pictured in B
Q4: Can you explain how you choose the answer here? When I paused and tried to create cubes of the different answers, A and B seemed to work just as good as D. My limited brain can't see any issues with A or B at least.

@@crafty_girl_97 I got that too. Though I wondered about the distortion in the lines on the top of the cube. If the "bar and lines" plane in option B indeed represents the "bar and lines" plane shown in the sample and not some sort of trickery it does also work as a correct answer.

B is wrong because when you fold it the arrow direction is not downwards it is to the right side. For B to be correct the arrow direction should be towards right side.
