Every em album is fire in its own way. His older stuff is so fire but his new stuff is just above and beyond, like the bars his writing I mean no one else can do what this man can do, everyone can name Kendrick or drake or whatever there good, but ems on another level. And if they don’t think so it’s cause they don’t get the wordplay. The bars. The connections this man can make bar to bar is one of a kind.

In regards to the chorus, I feel there's an element of contrast that actually makes the chorus fit with the rest of the song. If the whole song is aggressive the whole way through, you have nothing to reference in regards to what that aggression is. The aggression of ems verses are compounded by the contrast to the softly sung chorus in my opinion.

Eminem is a very rare breed of rapper, whose lyrics are never fixed. It's like the Bible in a way (if you've read the Bible, you know), depending on what time in your life you listen to his music, they mean different things. I hope I'm making sense...

I was unimpressed with MMLP2 at first and it took a few years and then a relisten while I was painting a porch to really like this album. It's now one if my favorites. It's just so much to chew at first because of the vast amount of words he uses. He spit 5 albums worth of words on this one.

There is literally no debate between MMLP 1 and 2
    1) MMLP is literally an all time HipHop Album that could not have had more relevance at the time. He perfectly satirized USA culture.
    2) MMLP 2 is a very solid later career effort with some great highs but as a project it's just not near MMLP
you could take 10 random songs from MMLP and it would be better than MMLP 2 and that's not a knock on MMLP 2 it's just a testament to how good MMLP was.

When I see questions like "what's your favorite Em album" or "what's your top 5 Em songs" I can't answer. Each project has their own unique GOAT status. They are incomparable to me. If you take out 1 album, his discography after whichever you take changes because each is a piece of his life. Even Encore and Relapse. They may have been the more playful, serial killer heavy type but his mind was in such a fucked up state during that time, it was still emotion and I guarantee all those drugs made him think that fucked up shit. So with that, I can't pick 1 from another. He's just the Greatest Artist of all time to me because of every aspect of his greatness and what he has achieved and HE STILL ISNT DONE BRO... fucking legend.

This song is from the soundtrack of Call of Duty Ghosts. Which is why there was a contrast of his balls deep aggression and the soft chorus. Because in war there is a moment of the subtle, soft, poetry of sneaking around and then the aggressive violence one needs to win. Plus the whole concept of the game Ghost's was "survival of the fittest". Coming back from chaos and almost an apocalypse, surviving and coming back... (At least that's MY opinion on it)

Like that one king said at the end of the movie Troy, I lived in the time of Achilles.. In 300-400 years from now when our bones are dust I can say I was blessed to live in a time growing up with such greats as Jordan, Kobe, Lebron. Tyson, Chavez, Mayweather. Brady, The Manning bros. Pac, BIG, Jay-Z & Wayne.. And of course last but not least Eminem 💯💯👍🏻

Loved your reaction to Eminem being inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Definitely check out the video we all wanted from ePro Team. Came out 3 days ago.

I personally think Em has two ways of doing his hooks, 1. The hook matches the versus almost seamlessly in vibe/energy etc. 2. They don’t match almost at all for a sense of contrast.
