How to add an IP camera to a Hikvision NVR (Hikvision NVR Setup)

Remember some NVR comes with built in poe

How do configue if i install 5 cameras to a external switch gigabit 8 port to a lan port if the nvr already have a internal switch 8 port? I junt one one cable to my inside hone insted of 5

Hik-connect already works over the Internet, no matter where the NVR is located.

Yes, the DHCP is enabled in the camera and the password is given by the NVR (it uses the same password for the camera).

Just connect the camera directly to the NVR e it should automatically give it an IP and allow you to add it to the system

Hi i have hickvision nvr ds 7600 series and a reolink dome RLC 520 camera, in the nvr hikvision i went to event selected the canera enable motion, selected all area click apply, it says error settings. What it can be? I dont understand 😕 motion cant enable it just continuos

my camara record continuos ok.
in nvr settings i cant activate event motion, when i click enable and then apply a error failed settings appeared

Need to reset it. The process vary depending on the camera model. Look for the camera manual online or how to reset the specific model you have.
