Absolutely!! I ❤Egypt. Ancient Egypt was amazing! A culture so beautiful and mystical and mysterious! I can’t get enough of documentaries about it all.
So true!! It's made me want to go to college and get a degree in archeology with a special interest in Egyptology. I'm 43 this month and I know it'll take awhile but I don't care 💜💜
Great video, a little more cultural sept with time lines and maps . Along with so much more information. This was a great find for me today. I’m a big fan of the ancients, living the Egyptian historical times and linguistics. Are so phenomenal to me. Learning each year more and more about what truly happened in the past. Thank you !
What made Egypt such a great civilization was that it was the first of its kind. It became a model for the southern and eastern Mediterranean area, and its influence gradually reached the northern shores. Nobody built big like the ancient Egyptians. People who don't acknowledge Egypt's influence on succeeding cultures are in de Nile. 😊
Though it takes video from other sites, this is an EXCELLENT overview of Ancient Egypt. Its approach is different than most & the "experts" they use -- both in English & German -- are some of the VERY BEST still operating in Egyptian archeology & anthropology. Very well done! Thanks.
That's a very good documentaries, unlike those geo, discovery and so on. It is like those from the early 90" And I like a lot of professor Salila hicram, she's a great teacher
I really appreciate the description of migration east, along with the co-incidence of the Nile flooding every season. What I am missing so far is how does a predominantly agricultural civilisation while deifying each region managed to build the most unbelievably advanced architectural wonders the world has ever seen? I am near the 300BC part and still no mention of the Giza plateau? I was really enjoying this video until I wondered when are they going to address this mystery? Its not a mystery it is a miracle! I hope this video will start to explain the great pyramid, the serapeum of saqqara, bent pyramid, the sphinx, and the totally insane architectural remnants of this great dynasty. So far its just the bread basket of Egypt. Wish me luck. I will now continue watching.
Actually. I have to eat real humble pie. I thought I knew something about Egypt. I just spent 9 days there. I have SOME perspective but there is SOOOO much history there, it is also foolish to think one can summarise what is left there easily. What people do NOT really mention is the VIBE. I have no other word to describe what it is like to view the architectural wonders, the sculptural tributes and the expanse of the expression of a great civilisation. I am in a state of bewilderment and awe. I dont know how to process what I saw. I did not even see Karnak or Luxor temple. What I did see has left me dazed and comfused but in a good way. Not sure when I will return to normal.
Their power were lost as every big power has done all over the world in other time and until today and it will keeping going down also today as the human hasnt learn. One question is which one is the next? EU, WHO, UN, WEF, Nato or the USA?
The Ancient Egyptian Dynastic culture was a (Black) African culture and it originated from a series of neolithic/predynastic cultures in Upper(southern) Egypt i.e Tasian, Badarian, Naqada etc- these upper Egyptian cultures themselves been part of the larger Nilotic-Sahara culture that streched from around Khartoum to Middle Egypt. These Upper Egyptian cultures originated from the sahara and areas to the south as people move out from a desiccating Sahara. Every thing said above is the current mainstream view of scholars on ancient Egyptian origin and culture and it is demostrable. Who the ancient Egyptian were is a different matter that does not have consensus at the moment
By the way, this mainstream consensus(which is easily demonstrable) is what is shown in this documentary at 8:40 min i.e origin of early ancient Egyptian cultures from the Sahara and areas to the south
Can I respectfully point out that while the narrator is repeatedly explaining how advanced Egyptian technology was used here, here and here, we're shown the modern day Egyptian farmer, whose level of technology is a donkey? All a bit confusing if you ask me.
Can someone help me out. I wanted to know the relationship between ancient Egypt and ancient nubia. On one end the Egyptians depict the Nubians as prisoners of war and an enemy nation. But they also credit Nubia as being their mother civilization
@@vansan2120 sir there is no real dna testing that says they are Caucasians 🤦🏽♂️.. you might be referring to the 2017 dna test when Egypt was under the Roman/greek conquest.. that’s the Ptolemy dynasty. Kemet was long gone by then

You don't have a clue. There are buildings there that are over 3000 years old. I've been there and I've studied it for 30 years, but obviously you haven't. And the particular guy named Jesus that you are refering to never existed.
Somewhat "tongue in cheek," but why did the ancient Egyptians wear such silly headwear? I've lived in the desert (and Egypt specifically), wearing a hat without a brim it is nearly impossible to see anything long distance when the sun is overhead.
Egypt is the land of Ham, which means black. Even the bible supports this. the symbols show african features this is clear. also Egypt/kemet is in Africa, it is near modern Sudan also there are pyramids there.
Ancient egypt is the most interesting and mysterious civilization by far.

The Nile is indeed a gift from the Gods. Even today the Nile River is a blessing to Egypt.
