- This time I bring you a secret boss fight. Like Muffet and Glyde, this monster design and its fight made it into the game thanks to one of the kickstarter goals of including your own monster in the game. This tier was that of "make your fantroll canon" and it was awarded to the first person that donated $1000 to the game's kickstarter.
You can get this event at any time after you reach the MTT Resort and only if your PC's date is set to October 10th, at 8 pm.
Killing this monster does count towards your kills during the game, so don't kill him if you're doing a pacifist playthrough. - Розваги

I love what they did with So Sorry; they made it so that he didn't even know he was attacking you. The tail thing, the paper thing, etc.

You can't even encounter So Sorry in a genocide run. The area is blocked off and the sign in the MTT Resort says the Art Club is cancelled.

He didn’t scam them, he said it as a joke and someone payed to have their fetish fursona in the game :/ They even agreed to have it hidden due to the controversy

This game has a family of goat-dogs, a fish woman and a lizard as some of its main characters, all of them presenting humanoid traits. Every single vendor in the game except for Sans is an anthropomorphic animal, and a large amount of monsters (the dogs in Snowdin, Monster Kid, Migosp, Everyman, etc.) are anthropomorphic animals as well. Toby Fox himself identifies as a dog ingame, even if it's not a humanoid one.
Yet everyone hates this one character just for being someone's fursona, completely disregarding anything else about the character. Wow.

I don't care if people dislike So Sorry because its creator is a furry, draws fatfur, and harassed Toby because of what people have done to him. The character is extremely adorable. I can relate to So Sorry because I myself am an artist and apologize *way* too much. It's sad that they and Glyde went under the radar, they definitely deserve more attention like secret bosses in Deltarune do.
Frisk: able to kill Undyne, Asgore and managed to stand in the God of Hyperdeath's way

In case you don't know the story, "So Sorry" is hidden because the character itself is a reference to an inflation porn OC. Toby really didn't want to include it, but the person who donated on the Kickstarter was apparently really difficult to work with, so this obscure fight was the compromise.

Except none of that is true. So Sorry is completely separate from Sam's OC, with nothing to show that he's a reference to inflation pron.
And Toby is friends with Sam and they're okay with each other. Sam wasn't difficult to work with at all.

It seems there’s been a lot of hate directed towards the character “So Sorry” and its creator, Sam. This is very disappointing to me, as UNDERTALE is basically a game about accepting and befriending people that are different than you. Everyone has the right to like or dislike anything they want. But there’s no reason to turn your dislike into a personal attack. Sam’s inclusion was a result of his honest support for a game he really cares about - which all of you care about, as well. And I accepted that inclusion. So, “So Sorry” is as much a part of UNDERTALE as anything else.
The reason I didn’t make a statement about this before was because I was worried that calling attention to the issue would just incite more harassment against Sam. However, it seems my silence may also have enabled harm against him, and for that I apologize. Just to clarify, potential harassment against Sam was also the reason I offered him a refund and asked him if he wanted to change his character to a different one. I don't hate the character, or the fetish he represents
The problem with including him as a full semi-boss (Like Muffet) was the fact that he wasn't made for Undertale. Muffet's creator and Glyde's creator, both created the characters just to be on the game, to be part of this world
So Sorry whoever, is a fursona. He's the literal embodiment of the creator as an animal, and Toby was ok with it at first. But of course, things change in the production and it's Toby's game after all, he has the right to say what will happen with the character
And yes, he tried to give the money back to So Sorry's creator, but he refused and wanted the character on the game by any cost, and that included being a 1 time per year semi-boss with all of his "strange" features removed. He ACCEPTED those terms
And after the game got popular, he then tried to make it appear that Toby did the wrong thing. JUST BECAUSE THE GAME GOT POPULAR

Like I said before, Toby was ok with So Sorry until he saw what would happen if he didn't remove the character. Not only that, Temmie and Annoying Dog didn't appear in any porn before the game's release (I don't know if they were used at other media at the time)
