In every other "In the day of the life of..." that I've seen, people show themselves getting up from bed, eating breakfast, putting on makeup, brushing their teeth, eating lunch, walking to their car, walking from their car, a little bit of the actual work that the video said they did, and then going to bed. You, on the other hand, displayed the design project, explaining what your chosen concept is about, and let us see some of the Auto CAD drawings as you worked to get them just right. Because of this, I got some understanding of what its like to be an interior design student. Thanks, again!
So I've been unsure about the career that I want to go into, but since I started high school I feel like interior design is something I see myself pursuing, and this video just makes me so excited to start college and everything. I also love the ideas you had!

i totally understand your frustration, i tried to hack my revit to download sketchup models bc i wanted all this furniture so i imported them as cad files but the sketchup things were so large that it lagged my project so hard to the point where eventually the only way for it to save was so exit the app right after saving and it took forever to move things around too and i never even attempted to render it thru revit i was too scared, i made my renders with enscape aaaaa the file is so corrupted
Same, I did some research and while it’s helpful, apparently it’s not like “necessary” if yk what I mean. Like it’s good to be decent and practice but you can still do 3D models and stuff so yea
Definitely not! I am not a great artist but I do well on digital programs like photoshop for example. Drawing can help you sketch and draft an idea especially if you have a client present, but it doesn’t have to be perfect!
I have been interested in interior design but was thinking of just doing it as a minor. Are you and interior design major? I’m unsure if that is solely what I want to focus on.
