So great Jeremiah. Love the creativity. A friend just gave me a paperback Bible with square corners. You've helped me to approach the square corners different than the typical rounded corner rebind. I love these short videos . Keep em coming.
Jeremiah, that’s a handsome rebind. I like the geometry of the book and how things become lined up and framed. I live in Tokyo and before I became a missionary here, I was an international graphic designer and creative director. Im actually in the process of creating a readers Bible in Japanese for Japan… I have been looking at the approach of round vs square corners recently and there are a few ways of looking at it. I’ve noticed that in the Bible community the frame of reference is always another Bible which is neither good or bad but it’s also good to step outside and take a look around. One approach is to possibly nix the whole idea of a yoke which then gives the book a very contemporary feel rather than a traditional one. Take a look at a Montblanc leather notebook… their notebooks interiors are cut square and they have a rounded leather cover which I quite like as the tip of the page just barely conceals itself within the curve of the cover. Yes, it’s actually rare to see a mixed round/ square combination as most books are either round or square but rarely both. I like this squared book you just created and I think another reason it works so well is the justified copy inside… everything is square including the typography. Who knows, it might feel a little different if the type was flush left… looks great, enjoy your videos, have a blessed day. Domo arigato!
Great rebind. I love the way you did the corners. I did a rebind on a hardback and did the corners just like the hardback did, but they were too thick..so yours look so much better. keep up the great work.
I like that a lot! I have a hardback NLT chronological Bible I’m reading with son and I can hear it coming apart already. I was wondering how to rebind that and then I saw your video! Love it. Once we finish the year will want to rebind it for sure if you are doing hardback.
I have a question though for a rebind. I have a MEV thinline bible. The thing is is the spine is glued and not sewn. I was wondering if you are able to rebind a glued spine Bible?
Funny thing. I've been looking into starting binding as a hobby and one of the Bibles I plan on doing is my hardback NT Greek Bible. I actually thought about doing the corners like you did. It looks good.
Take my money! 😁 I have an LSB LP ICR hardback that I'm contemplating having done. This looks rad. But I'm the mercy of my piggy bank and my wife's needs (thus the hardback).

Looks Awesome. You should start offering rebinds like this. 👍
Not a bad idea
That is really cool.. I love the leather & ribbons it's gorgeous.
I like the end page color you chose.
Thank you! Goes well with the Olive Calfskin Liner.
That looks amazing! Great work as always.

very nice work
I have the five volume CSB reader. Would you consider rebinding like that?
I certainly could!
I would love this for my lsb hardback solas edition. It has the art gilt and red dye. Works perfectly
Love it. I will give you some business for sure!!!

I recently purchased a Cambridge wide margin in hardback to have it rebound. This is a great idea. Looks fantastic!
Wow, that is legit the coolest ever. I'm digging it. It's RAD my dood.
So cool
Very unique
Yes, it is a fine work of art. Now I have a question how much do you charge to do one and how much time?

Sounds good!

Dude I love this! Make a video making one
I might

I am certainly able to, though its always best to have an edition rebound that is sewn.
@@Keep_preaching ok thanks
That is very nice!
Any way to reinforce the four corners from wear, or will they hold up nicely?
they will hold up just fine :)

Looks great.
How do we reach you about a rebind?
Send us a message either through our website or on instagram :)
I dig it!
Perfectly! Some people may prefer non-rounded corners.
Love it
