Boat life is one we thought of before RV life ... we LOVE the water!! They don’t call me the mermaid for nothing 🥰
I am a you tube junky - I follow you on your life in an RV and I follow a young couple called Expedition Evans. They purchased a wrecked sailboat and restored it in a year. They recently left New England and plan to sail around the world, full time in their sail boat. I highly recommend their channel - this young couple are awesome and fun to watch. So you have just hit both my passions. Also, I am a boat owner in New England and realize I could never give this lifestyle up for good. The US is full of amazing places to see as you have shared over the last 10 months and I will visit them BUT my heart is in New England on the water!
The freedom of a boat is very enticing.
That was a very pleasant surprise video. 3 Thingy’s and a Dingy? Is there something in the works? Sheila and her motorboat brain. Its a never ending venture filled thought process for her.
Sheila has a hard enough time getting you into the back water. Can’t see her getting You to go out in the ocean on a floating RV.

Interesting choice, prefer to keep my feet on terra firma; they do call it seasick for a reason. Nice to catch up with friends.
My husbands first choice was boat life, I said let’s do the RV first and in a few years if we still want then we will try boat life🤷🏻♀️

I lived on a Hatteras 50C Sportfisherman for six years on Lake Michigan. It averaged 1gal of diesel per I mile in gear at idle. At 19 knots it performed 3/4 gal per mile. The vessel held 1050 gals of diesel. I was a USMM Capt at the time. Those were the days!
This episode was fun. RV’ing on the water. Watch out for the crabs Todd!
Up next a boat on a trailer. Camp in RV parks or take it to a dock. That way you will always have a dingy with you.

Growing up, parents had a 45' houseboat on the Ohio river in Madison Indiana. One summer traveled up and down the river.

Grew up going to the ocean and boating, but nope, not living on one! I too love the water, moving water, oceans and rivers!

I remember as a kid my family spent the weekend on my grandpa's cabin cruiser. We had a great time but talk about sea legs when we got on shore after days on the water! lol

We do most of our boating on Sebago Lake. We’ve been on the ocean a few times with our boat, but I don’t like it when the fog rolls in.

One of the things I was considering was buying a trawler and living on it for retirement. Who knows what life will hold? You guys are awesome and I love watching whatever is next. Todd on a boat? 😂

Very interesting but sometimes a 3 to 400SqFt RV is challenging, I can't imagine full timing in 100SqFt!!

Check out the channel, 'Gone With the Wynns'. They were RV'ers and sold out for a sailboat. Great channel.
Been following them since day 1, got very boring as result of mostly lock-downs, all these sailing travel channels are struggling for content. Don't do it Tod....!

For awhile we thought about doing a houseboat on the intercoastal water way instead of RVing. That was until we went deepsea fishing and I got terribly sea sick. That destroyed the fantasy. So no living on the water for us
