Sometimes they might be looking at a person differently because they might be thinking of them from how they remember them from School or College. But if they was to see them now. They might not look as good as they remember them. They might not find them attractive anymore if they was to see them now
I only started loosing weight when I decided I’m okay and I’ve been trying my best to loose, so if this is the new me, let me love it and buy new clothes that fit. I agree, sometimes we don’t give ourselves enough credit for how hard we work and how much we accomplish…. Our negativity is holding us back

A couple of thoughts: 1) When you initially asked “what if you had 6 months to live,” the thought that came into my mind was: “It would be the most freeing thing ever.” I mean this, and I feel this way for the very reasons you would go on to discuss. Being someone who is always in her head and over analyzes and suffers from analysis paralysis and is always afraid of making the “wrong decision” which could detrimentally affect my future and my future self, knowing I don’t have that future will likely allow me to finally release all of that weight and worry and concern. I would then do and try all of the things I hold myself back from out of fear of the future consequences. Sure there would be some sadness and missing that same future which had yet to arrive, but I would personally feel more free than anything. 2) I completely agree with you about perspective changes and I don’t ever think I put those pieces together until you said what you said. I made a comment on a past video about astrology and I know you said you’re not really into it or don’t know about it, but I say what I am about to say as solely my perspective (and please bear with me, because I promise it is relevant): in astrology there is something called the North Node and South Node. The South Node represents the natural skills and talents you came into this life with - maybe things you are too comfortable doing now in this life which are holding you back from growth, and the North Node represents the things you are supposed to be growing into in order to advance as a soul. Well, my North Node is in Gemini which is supposed to be about really being curious about people, being the perpetual student of life and the things and people in it, asking questions and being part of a community. These are all foreign to me because I am very heavily reliant on my South Node (Sagittarius) traits. I have this urge to not want to be tied down, to travel and learn, but to learn for the purposes of sharing my knowledge as a mentor and spiritual teacher would. I am accustomed to the energy of having people look to ME for answers. So the energy of actually staying put and being interested in and curious about OTHER people, and listening rather than simply teaching is extremely difficult for me. I have been resisting this energy for a very long time. I say all of this to paint the picture about your point on perspectives. I have felt stuck in my life and I could never figure out why. But in what you said about perspectives and changing, it made me think of my conundrum with not wanting to move into a new energy and way of being & maneuvering through the world. I am so stuck in my Sagittarian ways that I am robbing myself of the chance to truly shift my perspective and change in fundamental ways, which will ALSO resolve this inner feeling of stagnancy I have felt afflicted with for so long. You are so right that being curious about things and people that you didn’t think you were interested in changes your perspective and therefore changes you and creates movement and growth. So no wonder I have not been feeling movement or growth, because I haven’t been embracing the energy of student in my life. I have been stuck in my comfort zone and wanting life to just reflect back to me that that is okay, while life is showing me that it is time to broaden myself. For me, embracing this Gemini energy in my life could very well be the movement I have been simultaneously wanting AND fighting back against. Hope I didn’t lose you.
