And the pricing changes almost daily based on demand. There are tickets available as low as $175 at most venues. 2nd this sing is,NOT about judgment or discrimination etc. That. False story got out early based on an article written by a guy who claim that there was a guide to the song posted on EDAM site and he reported quoted an interview by the Director. Well that has NEVER been a Guide published on EDAM's site and the interview by the Director was actually an interview about his movie Concrete Utopia whi h in fact did deal with some of those issues. IU posted a letter on her site about the album in general and this song in Particular. In that letter there is nothing not even a hint about the song having anything to do with judgement or discrimination of disabled persons. There is absolutely nothing in the songs lyrics that even suggest such a topic. In fact IU iin her letter says the Love Wins All is one of 2 love songs on the album. And that she is dedicating this one to her fans. Consider that for a minute. If the song were really about judgement and discrimination towards disabled people, we'll then it is not about loving someone to the end, and what would she be saying about her fans? Where us the judgment in the song or the MV? There is none. Where is the demonstration of discrimination in the song or MV? There is none. For a song and or MV (or anything for that matter) to be about something that something must be demonstrated in some manner. Take BBIBBI for instance, which is about hate commenters and rude fans. Her lyrics and MV that fact perfectly clear. IU says the song is about the struggle to Love when the world gets in the way. The concept for the MV came to her after she visualized the World in ruin. The song talks only about LOVE. In fact, I will suggest that if the songvwere really about judgement and discrimination that then you can't get back to the topic of love. Not in 51/2 minutes. Then there the entire issue of how the cubes fit into that narrative. The cubes aren't targeting disabled people, as IU and V appear to be the only 2 people left. If the Cubes were a metaphor for discrimination than ONLY disabled people should be the ones being targeted. But these cubes aren't discriminating they are exterminating. We are even shown their destruction of the entire city. And there I'd no suggestion that any of the people who have already been taken were disabled at all. For there are no crutches, wheelchairs, artificial limbs piled up. We don't even know how the 2 of them came by their injuries. This is similar to the early claim that IU was deaf. But if you actually watch the MV with that in mind you quickly see that she can hear as there are multiple times in the MV where she is reacting to the sounds of the cube, either before V does or at the exact same time. The story is about the love 2 people have for eachother that can't be destroyed and can't divide them. The injuries they have are for the sole purpose of using the camera lens to create an alternative fantasy world, where they don't have the injuries. An interesting fact, is that a couple of organizations of disabled people believing the early story got mad at IU and V because in that false context it appears as if they can only be happy when they are "normal" which disabled people found offensive. I don't know why this false narrative continues to hang onto this song. When any actual review of the MV and the lyrics simply do not at all support it. If a story is about discrimination you had better show examples of it. The only thing that at all fits that narrative are the facts that they both have injuries. That's it. It is to me a major disrespecting of IU and her creativity to even suggest that narrative which is wholly unsupported. IU was the producer of the MV so the concept and the message and vision are all her.
Thank you so much for explaining it so well, better than I have been, I also have been trying to get this correct information out there. I am now thinking its almost worst, the terrible Woke world needs to preach their false narratives of the world only being of discrimination and racism every moment it can so they latched onto this song like they do with everything and have corrupted it. If the Director feels that way, I say he's kissing up to Woke Hollywood for a possible job in the future. Its a love song, not what the Woke crowd says. I purchased tickets thru StubHub, will fly 4.5 hrs to get there... I LOVE IU.
@@hannahren102 everything is but that doesn't mean everybody interpretation is right or approach it or matches up with the information provided. IU had a very specific thing in mind when she wrote the song and came up with the concept. Since she only mentions LOVE and how love respsents unrelenting togetherness, interpreting the song based on victimhood, of abuse bye oppressors, which are not mentioned or even suggested in any part of the lyrics or the MV is a major disservice to the message IU is trying to send. Just consider the fact that a group of disabled people, buying into the discrimination narrative got angry at V and IU believing that they were mocking disabled people, which demonstrates the problem with the idea that when and author/artist has a specific message in their work and people misinterpret it based on an incorrect understanding of all the evidence presented in the work or because they have some ax to grind.
@@michaelfoley5295 Chill ! it's still a great song. The MV added spices to the song otherwise the lyrics are quite direct..just enjoy it dont stress urself...its ok to have multiple meaning theres no right or wrong...just that the melody plus the mv successfully hype up viewers emotions into a form of sadness ..which is cool!
