I would love one of those Amazon lists of objects you guys love or find helpful. I know it’s more influencer-y but I do love those shopping lists and maybe if you guys just made it all snacks or foods you love, I would love some more snacks. Or fidget things you love or Jen could have a knife Amazon list. Another way for you all to get monies and share with us things you love so we can try them
Yes! Especially if y’all have any weird food combinations you liked as a kid. I know as a kid I use to dip chicken nuggets in applesauce and I don’t know anyone else who did that as a kid xD
I literally rewatch these Aldi's and Trader Joes videos everyday because you guys are my current comfort channel. just thought you should know. also kitchen roasting jorn for wearing white on bbq day like she didn't wear white on soup day. 😂
This was a fun twist on the “all the -- from --“ format! It was nice to have some variety in the food and you guys seemed to have more fun with it/ didn’t get sick of one particular type of food by the end!
I love the TJ videos despite having never been to their stores, but I'm a massive Aldi fan and have tried many of these products, so it was very validating to see you both enjoy them as much as we have for so many years!
Aldi brioche is made by the same company that supplies Whole Foods with their brioche. The packaging is identical except for the labels. The bags, the bag fasners, font on labels: same. I know because I bought both and, voila! Sams!
We need an Aldi charcuterie challenge! Or some other catchy name 😂 try all the cheese, meats, jams, fruits, nuts, and other things you might put on a charcuterie board!
This was fun!! As a side dish snob I have to agree with you that store made salads are generally subpar (but a lot easier than all that chopping and cooking). I would love to see you guys serve an Italian dinner with wine that was all ready made aka frozen or deli case. (I mean of course the wine would already be made I don’t expect you to be stomping grapes with your tootsies!!)
What about trying new fruits?! Miami Fruits has some cool produce that I’ve never tried and I think it would be cute to watch u two get a mystery box or somethin
Watching them eat the burgers, my brain was trying to figure out how they made half burgers perfectly for a second before my dumbass realized that obviously they made one burger with each bun AND CUT IT IN HALF I swear I’m smart 😭
The moment at 7:32 when Jen asks Kristen if she’s ok was just so sweet ! I love these two woman ! The love and genuine care they have for each other and their chemistry is just so nice to see online !! No drama fun entertainment ❤️😘❤️
I am so confused by the very American products coming from the German owned Aldi. What do I know though, I shop in British Aldi. I never thought about the fact the products would be different in different countries
So if you look into what company makes some of the stuff, a lot of the times their made by the same companies as the big name brands (thought of it when you mentioned the mustard trying to be french's and the ketchup trying to be heinz.) My hubs used to be a driver for Aldi and he said they would pick up the "Aldi's brands" at the name brand warehouses. They're just packaged differently. According to him, the chips are the 1 thing that pretty reliably tastes less than great. If you like peanut butter patty/tagalong GS cookies, try the 'Peanut Butter Fudge' cookies at Aldi. They're way cheaper and taste amaaaaaazing!
As someone from Alabama and who has had white bbq sauce, I'm not sure that's an accurate portrayal of how it truly is. I would suggest maybe trying to get your hands on the actual product straight from Alabama if you can, because it's truly something good.
I can barely focus on how cute everyone looks in this video because I'm so distracted by how much I want to eat that steak 😩 Kristin sob laughing "let me be normal" girl same
If Brie just doesn't like the softer texture of pickles, you can get snack'mms kosher dill mini pickles which are all crunch. I can't do how soft larger pickles are. I love seeing y'all try everything :)
im watching this again. me watching your videos every night... me not realizing that you are one of my comfort channels! all the best and just what you always say to us, we love you!
2:20 “and I will smile” while proceeding to cover her face with the bottle of BBQ sauce bottle. 2:59 “look happy Jen” while again covering face with bottle.🤣😂
We FINALLY got an Aldi in my area this month and I can’t wait to try it! Can I make a suggestion that after you try everything you leave the graphic with which category everything fell in up long enough for us to screenshot it? And if it had a title like “BBQ Foods from Aldi,” that would be super helpful as a reference when shopping so we know which foods to get and which to avoid. Love your videos and y’all’s energy!
some brie notes: her hair and outfit both look amazing. the definition on those curls? the colour of the dress? stunning. 10/10. also i love the recognition for people who love dill pickle flavouring but not pickles. dill and vinegar are a good combination and soggy cucumbers are a bad texture (yes, even "crunchy" ones) and i'm not ashamed to say it. i just hope brie knows she's superior for having the best opinions.
I don't know why, but I've been nervous to try the meat from aldi. Y'all doing this video and remarking on the quality of the meat really is super great and gives me some context into whether or not it is worth my money. Thanks y'all (:
I was born in NW Alabama and raised on white sauce before Paula Deen discovered it and introduced it. White sauce is best with smoked chicken and dipped, not basted and baked onto it. It’s a mayo and vinegar based sauce with a little sugar, black or cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Home made is MUCH better than bottled. Or if you can find the Big Bob Gibson’s brand, it’s better than a lot of other bottled brands.
In GA a bbq consists of smoked pork. Everything else is a cookout. I was so confused to see hamburgers and hotdogs on this video of bbq food. It just reminded me how different every region is in our country.
Y'all unlocked my cornbread Opinions inherited from my family. If the cornbread needs butter and/or honey to slap, it's bad and isn't invited to the cookout. If your experience of cornbread is as a vehicle for butter, it's likely you've never had good cornbread (of course, you just not really like cornbread or really love butter xD). Good cornbread gotta be moist enough to hold it's own, but it's level of sweetness I think is a matter of preference. My family mostly likes it really sweet since that's how my gramma makes it, but I've had good cornbread that isn't sweet.
As an Aldi employee and someone who pretty much only eats Aldi foods, most of the prepackaged and canned foods are just okay until you season them yourselves. And the white sauce, 5-in-1 dry rubs, and the frozen ribs were Aldi finds so of the ones you liked better go back and get more before it’s gone! It won’t be back for at least a year!
I’m from SC but was raised in GA so I’ve had lots of different bbq sauces. I am so afraid to try Alabama white sauce, so thank you for trying it so I can hear someone’s opinion!
"I would put hotdogs in grilled cheese but I still think that's good." SAME! And it's still 100% a weekend goto when I have everything I need for it haha
Now that we are getting closer to Christmas you guys should do a charcuterie video, Aldi during the holiday season doubles or triples the amount of cheeses/cold meats/spreads that they offer and they have some seasonal ones that literally only come once a year I'm dying to see you guys try them!!
How about birthday cake food from Aldi? Get each of the mixes, frostings, etc and see if you can do strawberry shortcake, chocolate cake, fancy decoration, etc.
Brie and Kristin's outfits combined make them look like two gay Dorothy's who are skipping down the yellow brick road together in the cutest way possible iconic we stan
If there is a Whole Foods near you guys, you should do a tasting of the items on their food bars. It would need to be a multi-day project for your own safety and well-being, but it would be really fun to see, as they tend to have much of the same foods from store to store.
I love your videos so much! Maybe do a quiz night/ game night snacks video? Netflix night snacks? Also I like seeing different supermarkets foods too..Can’t wait to see your next one 😘💜
My college cafeteria had a specialty salad that had popcorn chicken and Carolina bbq sauce for the dressing and on those days the line for salads was longer than the one for pizza 😂
Kristin - I'm loving your curly, long hairs. Jen - Good to see your wrist is healed. It was really nice seeing you both have such a good time with this video. Seems like you all are in a good place. Love you!
What other FOOD OCCASIONS should we get food for? What else do y'all want? Let us knowwwwwwww
Another way for you all to get monies and share with us things you love so we can try them
how about. best delivery order from.... a certain cuisine.. and you try each others order?
Picnic or Christmas!
For later in the year, Hanukkah
Taco/Mexican food night!
I like the break in between eating! You look less miserable and it lets you enjoy things that you like instead of being in pain from overeating.
Yes!! Plus, they can be more objective. If they're too full they're going to hate the food even if it's pretty good.
Agreeeeeeee
me too! I don’t want them to hate the filming. schedules are tight I guess but it’s so much better when they don’t suffer.
Yes and I feel like they give more accurate reviews because there not suffering lol
a video where you tried the foods you liked as kids, including the weird ones, would be suuuuuper fun
Maybe foods family liked as kids too!
Yes! Especially if y’all have any weird food combinations you liked as a kid.
I know as a kid I use to dip chicken nuggets in applesauce and I don’t know anyone else who did that as a kid xD
i have no doubt that jen probably ate chapstick as a kid
I literally rewatch these Aldi's and Trader Joes videos everyday because you guys are my current comfort channel. just thought you should know. also kitchen roasting jorn for wearing white on bbq day like she didn't wear white on soup day. 😂
I would love to see some blind taste-tests of brand name versus generic foods like cereals or potato chips!
Kristen listing off all the BBQ sauces and ending with just "White" is like reading through the list of ethnicities on government paperwork. 😂
1. Brie, you look ADORABLE in that dress! I think it compliments you very well.
2. Aldi brioche buns friggin slap
im glad someone else noticed the dress!! it's so cute!!!!
That’s what I came here to comment! Stealing the show from the background!
After you described the macaroni salad as “metallic”, I was really surprised it wasn’t penalty box bad.
I would have threw it in the penalty box. XD Kill it with fire, bad.
I bought it before this video- easily the worst macaroni salad I've ever had. So gross
This was a fun twist on the “all the -- from --“ format! It was nice to have some variety in the food and you guys seemed to have more fun with it/ didn’t get sick of one particular type of food by the end!

As someone who shops at Aldi can confirm that their brioche buns are amazing and the ketchup and mustard is solid.
Aldi brioche is made by the same company that supplies Whole Foods with their brioche. The packaging is identical except for the labels. The bags, the bag fasners, font on labels: same. I know because I bought both and, voila! Sams!
@@kmbarnett1200 my dad worked in bread manufacturing for 30+ plus and I can confirm this happens a lot, especially with private label brands.
Also their beans they should have tried the maple and brown sugar or the honey beans those are much much better than the original ones
We need an Aldi charcuterie challenge! Or some other catchy name 😂 try all the cheese, meats, jams, fruits, nuts, and other things you might put on a charcuterie board!
They kinda already did that with KornDiddy.
This was fun!! As a side dish snob I have to agree with you that store made salads are generally subpar (but a lot easier than all that chopping and cooking). Emmymade has a whole Fruity Fruits series you should check out
@@rnptenafly yea! But Emmy isn’t Jorn and Kitchen 😆
(11:07) hot dogs in grilled cheese sounds awesome. That could be an alternate patty melt sandwich
Bologna in grilled cheese works too
Watching them eat the burgers, my brain was trying to figure out how they made half burgers perfectly for a second before my dumbass realized that obviously they made one burger with each bun AND CUT IT IN HALF
I swear I’m smart 😭
The moment at 7:32 when Jen asks Kristen if she’s ok was just so sweet ! I love these two woman ! The love and genuine care they have for each other and their chemistry is just so nice to see online !! No drama fun entertainment ❤️😘❤️
I am so confused by the very American products coming from the German owned Aldi. What do I know though, I shop in British Aldi. I never thought about the fact the products would be different in different countries
Thank you both for being a source of joy! Also just realized Jen no longer has a cast???
I think they said some videos were already filmed prior to Jen having a cast.
So if you look into what company makes some of the stuff, a lot of the times their made by the same companies as the big name brands (thought of it when you mentioned the mustard trying to be french's and the ketchup trying to be heinz.) Totally agree! Big Bob Gibson's is the original white sauce and you can buy it online
Definitely Bobs is the way to go, but also I think white sauce is better on chicken breast instead of drumsticks but that might just be me.
I love that it's Jen desperately begging for 30 seconds of normal. Not going to happen, but I can appreciate the desire.
Kristin’s curls!!!! They look amazing!! 🥹🤍🌈✨
"if not, i can refer you to a different channel" CRACKED ME UP lolol
I can barely focus on how cute everyone looks in this video because I'm so distracted by how much I want to eat that steak 😩

I haven't wanted red meat in a while and seeing that perfectly cooked tri-tip made me drool!!
im watching this again. me watching your videos every night... me not realizing that you are one of my comfort channels! all the best and just what you always say to us, we love you!

Kinda glad you guys decided to get away from Trader Joe's. I'm always glad to see other brands get a fair shot!
😱 I love Kristin's gingham dress! 😍🤍💙
I love the positivity in your community as represented by the comments…. It’s very heartwarming
I would just like to say, as a native southerner, you can absolutely make cornbread in a cast iron skillet

I love hearing and seeing outsiders praise Carolina barbecue. ❤️
The three of them just keep getting more and more beautiful each episode 🥹🫶🏻❤️🫰🏻
It makes my heart happy when a video starts and Kristen or Jen have their arm on the back of their fellow host’s chair. ❤️
I don't know why, but I've been nervous to try the meat from aldi. Y'all doing this video and remarking on the quality of the meat really is super great and gives me some context into whether or not it is worth my money. Thanks y'all (:

The energy in this video is fantastic. I laughed so hard.
Kitchen cackling at Jen wearing white on barbecue Day is my favorite thing 😂
I love all the faces when you’re showing the foods lol 😂 This is the perfect inside joke for all videos to come!
In GA a bbq consists of smoked pork. Everything else is a cookout. I was so confused to see hamburgers and hotdogs on this video of bbq food. It just reminded me how different every region is in our country.
In the UK, a bbq tends to be hamburgers and hotdogs primarily. Kebabs too
Y'all unlocked my cornbread Opinions inherited from my family. If the cornbread needs butter and/or honey to slap, it's bad and isn't invited to the cookout. Make cornbread and milk! with your leftover cornbread. If you have fig preserves feel free to add!

Just what I needed on an otherwise boring Friday! Especially loving Brie's fancy blue dress!
I’m from SC but was raised in GA so I’ve had lots of different bbq sauces. I am so afraid to try Alabama white sauce, so thank you for trying it so I can hear someone’s opinion!
Bri and Kristin both look so cute in their blue dresses. Like ready to head out to a bbq/cookout
! Costume change. Lol good choice on not wearing white for day two Jen.
So cute when Jen genuinely asked if Kristen was ok. Adorbs!!

This was so chaotic lol loved it. Can you share how you made the tri tip?
Rubbed it with dry rub. Seared on one side until browned, cooked raw side up for 20ish minutes until medium rare
I love how Jen is finishing off Kristen's steak!
Kristin's hair looks extra beautiful in this video
How about birthday cake food from Aldi? Get each of the mixes, frostings, etc and see if you can do strawberry shortcake, chocolate cake, fancy decoration, etc.
I'm so happy you guys are feeling healthy and are taking care of yourselves! I'm glad to have another video to watch 😅
Breakfast from Aldi could be a fun video!
Currently sitting down with a plate of bbq after work 😭😭😭 thank you so much ❤️

your videos never fail to make me cackle. i love yall so much!
Its 3 am. Going to sleep..
Its the Kitchen and Jorn Show!
Ok... My brain says : Lets watch!
I just wanna crawl in to the video and eat everything! Love me some BBQ 😍😋

I love how happy the tritip made them all.
The curls are really popping in this video! mermaid vibes✨😌
i'd love to see trader joe's: birthday edition (all the cakes / cupcakes / cake mixes / ice creams?)
I LOVE this Aldi series!
I love your videos so much! Maybe do a quiz night/ game night snacks video? Netflix night snacks? Also I like seeing different supermarkets foods too..Can’t wait to see your next one 😘💜
The mini dill pickles are my favorite cuz they're super crunchy and garlicky
For some reason, Jen saying she put hotdogs and grilled cheese it just makes absolute 100% total sense
Jen saying everyone be normal reminded me of “one normal night” from the adams family musical.
Omg my heart 😭😄💖😆 seeing the cornbread part!
Making your own sides is definitely a better option but I must say you all did good this video!
jen's huge sad eyes at 7:20 are KILLING ME, so good
My college cafeteria had a specialty salad that had popcorn chicken and Carolina bbq sauce for the dressing and on those days the line for salads was longer than the one for pizza 😂
LMFAO @ jen yelling “WHAT” after what kristin said when they were showing the coleslaw
I absolutely love that dress on bri !!! So pretty ! ❤️ and looks SO good on her !
the highlight of my week!!
There's a new spicy dill pickle chip by ruffles if you like pickle flavor! Yummy
Kristin is so pretty and her hair looks amazing lately! ❤
ABSOLUTE highlight of my Fridays
I needed this today. 💜 Hope y'all are doing well.
I love Mia's editing
Movie night snacks! Different kinds of popcorn, twizzlers vs red vines, etc
Brie being a sideshow food connoisseur is everything I needed!
The little notes from your editors always make me laugh 😂 ❤️
YALL LOOK SO GOOD I MISSED YALL SM
Ahahahaha I'm glad I'm not the only one who despises pickles but loves the dill pickle flavour!
Brie & Kristin are killing it with the dresses this video!
Kristens curls look SO GOOD ❤️❤️
y'all were on your game today! great job cookin, thanks for sharing!
Kristin - I'm loving your curly, long hairs. Jen - Good to see your wrist is healed. It was really nice seeing you both have such a good time with this video. Seems like you all are in a good place. Love you!
I needed this today ❤️ thanks y’all
“Hot cool 90 minutes” is hilarious 🤣
Beanie Weanie was my favorite food as a kid too!
The potato salad problem you forgot was : potatoes undercooked. That is a genuine tragedy.
I literally spat water out of mouth with the coleslaw comments🤣🤣🤣
I actually like when you mug shot food.
