The freakiest part about this for me is that the Commission basically did the exact same thing with Hawks and Lady Nagant that All for One did with Shigaraki. They both took in impressionable kids and manipulated them into doing their bidding.
If the Muscular fight wasn't enough, this one definitely shows that Deku is on a pro level, the more you watch this fight the more you pick up on something new that the kid did. An example for me that came from the manga, I didn't even stop to think that deku creates the faux 100% there. The Third makes it clear that it is his first time using the quirk, and after using it the first time, the second time he is already storing the energy in a complicated situation, and using only one leg to save chisaki and the other to stop nagant, the boy is already thinking steps ahead in a battle. It's incredible.

He is more than a pro now. aside for endeavor, I don’t think any other hero can defeat deku now tbh

It should be noted that after the preview for next episode where Deku usually says "Go Beyond, Plus Ultra!" after the one he says "I'm fine, really." Our boy is losing it :(

In the manga Deku said her bullets are faster than a howitzer bullet. So Deku with 45 percent and fajin is already massively hypersonic even faster the way he caught up
Deku's pure animosity in his eyes at the end parallels with All Might's eyes of determination and resolve at the start of this episode.
The feelings that I got when midoriya witnessed nagants death was priceless. The old midoriya would have lost his mind. But this deku was full of a cold rage. We aren’t seeing the child deku anymore

This episode shows a *culmination* for pay off with Deku since the beginning, characterized with studying quirks and combining their use for effectiveness.
Like recalling for sport festival calvary team battle in S2 with him as team captain. In S3 for camp arc with catching up to villains using his friend's quirks after his body was busted after Muscular fight, again in S3 with him using combined effort with others to plan rescue for Bakugo from being kidnapped, and all those other training arcs working with classmates too.
So that was the foundation for him then to now, in order to appreciate seeing him reach a new level for it.

Great episode. I think it was my favorite of the season. And Deku give me hope for the future of the society. He see shade of Grey. And now he knows that there is something wrong with it. Thanks to Lady Nagant. I love her characters. Thank you for the reaction 😋

I think Deku became for Nagant what Endeavor was to Hawks. As in a light in the darkness.
This is definitely one of my favorite My Hero Academia episodes, it has great storyline, animation and soundtrack wow
This episode was absolutely beautiful. The cracks in hero society are slowly being addressed with Izuku being shown these problems along with the viewers. He's being shown that the dream he had, that was based off All Might, wasn't the whole picture. And now he's slowly crumbling under the responsibility he has as the ninth user of OFA.
Next two episodes are gonna hit you right in the feels. I mean, the whole season has been hitting the feels here and there, but the next two are definitely going to be the most hard hitting in the entire series so far.

This episode is the first episode of the show where deku doesn't say "go beyond! Plus ultra!" He judt says "i'm fine"
It’s so insane seeing the difference in Deku from watching episode 1 of season 1 to this episode right here. He’s not that nervous little kid who’s always unsure of himself anymore. My boy is a full fledged pro 💯 love to see it
His eyes... Those are the eyes of rage. If 1A saw those eyes on Deku, they would freeze and flinch in fear like Stain did to the pros
Funny enough, at the start of the episode those villains froze in fear after seeing sll might with such determination in his eyes, just like stains conviction moved him to fight number 2 hero while being injured, is the same scene basically

So I’ve had Fa Jin under strict eye since it appeared. Namely because of the word “Faux.” It means 2 things. 1 is imitation, and 2 is false. His extra charge of Fa Jin mocks his 100%. But, I don’t think it’s 100% of OFA. You don’t build up 6 seasons of controlling 100% of the stockpile and just get a quirk that fills in the gap. Which is why I continue to say Deku doesn’t have the prime of OFA so that best fits. (That way he demonstrates the best HE can do but not the best OFA does.) Deku is UNQUESTIONABLY in top form. But we’re still not at the best he can do yet.
Also, Deku is GONE. We’re starting to get into a quirk FAR more important than OFA. Deku’s true quirk. Being an empath. He has entered in a state exclusive to Empaths. And it’s one of the only real superpowers of OUR world. The ability to sense emotions in others. But like quirks, there’s a recoil if overused and battered. And this is it. I call it exhausted empathy. It is BEYOND dangerous and I consider it the worst emotional strain someone can experience. And to put it THIS way, I am more worried about THAT than him getting shot, his arms exploding again, and AFO finding him. Because as scary as all those things are, there’s nothing worse than dying of heartbreak. And the strain of exhausted empathy is ABSOLUTELY capable of doing that when pushed hard enough. But the details are best described next episode.

For the role of villain, All For One is playing it so well! Not that I don't like Shigaraki. I just prefer AFO more.
That last attack is actually more crazy than it seems, Nagant couldnt dodge that at all, she was completely helpless and overwhelmed, it was deku's choice and precision to graze her enough with it just to break her arm withouth causing any further damage, he had complete control over her in that moment, its a bit scary rewatching it again and watching nagant's body turning around due to the force of the attack, it was just too fast to do anything about it, good thing deku is in the heroes side!

To explain faux 100%. Deku needs to combine Black whip (elastic power) + OFA 45% + Fa Jin (Release stored energy). The consensus among readers is that with Faux 100%, Deku can probably reach the same speed as OFA 100% Full Cowl alone. But it is definitely weaker in Germany of strength. Deku strenght in Faux 100% is higher than OFA Full Cowl 45% but weaker compared to OFA Full Cowl 100%. I would say that Faux 100% (while Deku is in 45% Full Cowl OFA) is around 55% Full Cowl but with out any recoil. Why, well we (manga readers) believe that its release of energy that was released ones before but part of it was stored in a quirk. Its not a power/strenght released from Dekus body/muscles but from the Fa Jin as a quirk

Well.. I do not disagree with the method of hero commission to discretely take out corrupt heroes. Bringing out their corruption to light would only increase the distrust within the actual public with regards to heroes. Plus all those corrupt heroes if given a trail would somehow weasel their way out of any sort of actual punishment via powerful lawyers.
The world of MHA can benefit from the heroes being seen as individuals who are humans and not gods. Those who can be corrupt or those who can fail. The general public in MHA are so used to the facade of perfect heroes that they stone their own saviors. Maybe knowing heroes are humans too would make them appreciate the ones who they have now more.
Both All Might and Endeavor hid their setbacks from society and are now facing those repercussions

Basically, Deku can now use one for all at 100% without taking damage like All Might thanks to fa jin.
Now all that’s left is the 2nd User’s quirk, the one who looks like Bakugo. Best guess, we will most likely see it in the middle of the next season.

Deku had dark moments his lost time and patience with all for one and shigaraki it up to him if he chooses kill or not depending on him but I can see in his eyes I almost had in my eyes but there someone there for me show me light doesn’t matter it big or small it there hope deku chooses not revenge but right choice take them to jail let justice be served for them
