The way this song rides out its ending is one of the greatest moments of musical greatness I’ve heard in awhile. The instrumentation is perfect and sets up one of vortexes greatest vocal performances. You can’t not come away from this song feeling something
I feel Vortex's vocals are just perfect for this band, as good as Vintersorg was and is.. Vortex just has a way to sail your soul to beautiful wonderments of pagan winters and cosmic collisions! i am well versed in Borknagars mystical tomes of audible workings and i can say this is one of their better songs in a long time! "Ruins of the Future" and "Revolt" are some of my favorite Vortex era Borknager songs if you guys never heard of revolt.. check that shit out. "Gods of My World is my fav Vintersorg era tracks.
You’re not wrong about that P. I’m a longtime Borknagar fan and this song is definitely one the best in years if not in decades. That’s saying something considering they've always released great stuff on a regular basis. The sound is huge and it embodies everything this band’s all about. Awesome song 🤘
Ok wait. Did you just hint Borknagar are coming back to North America for a tour?? They’re one of my favourite bands ever (top 3, along with Insomnium and Blind Guardian). I’ve seen Borknagar with Rotting Christ in Vancouver April 2022. I’m in Alberta and made the journey to the coast just to see them. I need to know that they’re coming back (preference would be Calgary please 😅).
