I should be getting mine tomorrow. Pretty curious to see to what extent I can make is sound like a Model D. Will be testing against my Behringer one, which admittedly isn't quite the same thing, but it does get pretty close. In this demo I can already hear that the Moog sound is definately there!

Great demo. I'll be sticking with my Moog One for now, as this is still a downgrade to the One. But I can understand if someone else sells their One for the Muse. It seems to be more for players than synth patch creators. Not having polyphonic aftertouch is still wild to me. And I agree with someone else in other comments; it sounds more like a Jupiter 8 than a Moog. Which isn't bad. Unless you view it as a bad thing.
@@RayyMusik I agree, it sounds nothing like an JP-8 or any Roland for that mater. The Muse clearly has the Moog filter and oscillator sounds. It reminds me more of my Moog Voyager, but then polyphonic and more versatile than the Voyager. I also have a Roland JP-6 and Juno 60 which have the same filter chips as the JP-8 (although used differently in the JP-6 to make it multi-mode). But they sound quite a bit different from the Moog filter.
I have a strange feeling about it, it's not a moog at all, it plays like a 60-year-old farfisa and even worse; the sound reminds me of releasing bees in the spring, I'm disappointed
I don't think it's really 'overpriced', but rather your expectation of what such a synth should cost is manipulated by how Behringer has flooded the market with cheap in China produced synths, which are build to lower quality standards than what premium brands like Moog, Oberheim and Sequential put on the market.

I don‘t hear any resemblance to a JP-8. The Muse sounds like a Moog - and IMHO moogier than the One.
sounds like a memory moog to me, it sounds even a bit better from what i can tell thus far.
@@snuppssynthchannel After playing it for 3 hours: yes, it can sound like a Memorymoog, but it is by far more versatile.
