Thank you brother! Enjoy! Ive had a lot more time with the Muse and I’ve created some more sounds for it. Its character is growing on me. I’m more of a prophet/oberheim guy but now I’m digging the “wildness” of the muse.
@@AllenMichaelhow do you feel about the Muse after this time? I have an OBX8 and I am thinking of adding a Prophet 10 as well. The MUSE seems very alive and more aggressive than the OBX8. The Oberheim is lush, full but smoother sounding.
@ the muse is very alive. It depends what style of music and your personal preferences are. Since you have an obx8 your “smooth” is covered. The muse is edgy and rather “dynamic” more than the oberheim or sequential stuff.
@@AllenMichael thanks, I have a MUSE as well, thought of adding the prophet to see if it complements both. But if it is going to be closer to the OBX8 in terms of character and sound I rather look elsewhere. I was thinking of getting a DW-8000. I am a bit hesitant though. I used to own an OBXa, CS60, Jupiter 6, and a Pro-one. All gone, maintenance and bench hours was expensive.
Love your videos man! Long time follower from a new profile here, recently bought my dream machine, the roland JUPITER 8 and this moog unit has some similarities to it which is surprisingly nice! Cheers and keep up with the great content please!
@@MissiontoJupiter thank you! Whats your name? The Jupiter 8 is on my list!!! I find the muse sorta reminds me of the CS80. I’ve barely scratched the surface of the muse but I like messing with the envelope curves of the filter and amp. Also, another handy feature is using “stack” and detuning the other timbre for a glorious chorus effect!!!
@@AllenMichael its Barnard here, I can write you in your site and we can get in touch! I also collect 80s gear (drum machine addict (;),it's been years I'm after the 8 when it came, after 5 mins I knew it was THAT sound, it has that unique HIFI and precise yet lush sound only roland were capable of back than, from opening and compering , it was built way way different (slightly even better in some ways) than the analog polys it was on par with! I have a lot to say about that synth after collecting data for years and now owning one, I think its a commitment to preserve history and I might do a video series as well! Thanks man, I'll be happy to chat and share info anytime 👍
Took me a minute to catch on what was going on here! This is dope, bro!! My brain was all infused in my subsequent 37… I couldn’t think about reality as it was going on around me 😜
Jump is for selling an Oberheim not a Moog. 😁 this good demo confirms the vintage side of the force of the Muse. Jump and Send me an angel are spot on. Even the look is in phase with the music's era.
Thanks. I’ve been listening to “send me an angel” a lot. I wanted to make that voice sound. It’s in the patches I’m giving away. The Muse has a different approach to making sounds as opposed to the prophet and oberheim. It’s funny how you can get the same thing done but in a different way.
I don’t know who you are but I can tell within 15 seconds you’re a cat working with pure power. Putting energy into this universe with a ferocity and panache that deserves a man’s respect. You’re the shit and the universe knows it. With two saw waves at your sides I know all your dreams will come true brother you have that magic blood most losers these days could only dream of having. Fuck.
This goes to show that this synth is more versatile that what many may think.
Really versatile.
Modern synthesizers have _finally_ advanced too the point where we can recreate the sound of synthesizers from 40 years ago!
😂😉
Future classic synth.
Top notch spectacular demo.
The best Muse demo so far and by far on UA-cam! Goes perfectly with LinnDrum sampled drums!
Appreciate your comment thanks :)
How did you get the early 80s grain look? Did you film on video or have a filter? Love it spot on.
@@christopherprice3226 I’m using an old broadcasting camera :)
@@AllenMichael Very Cool love the effort you put into the videos. Both visually and musically.
@@christopherprice3226 thanks brother! Appreciate your comment :)
Brother I appreciate how much fun you’re having. Your excitement jumps out the screen! I love the Muse too! Great video
Thanks! It was fun!
Nicely done and a big thank you for making these and sharing them for free. Subscribed, thanks for making it entertaining too!
Some nice sounds here! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah no prob.
J'adore ! Trop décalé, excellent ! Génial !
These sound amazing!!! Appreciate ya for sharing! ❤️🎼🔥🔥🔥
I love the transistor organ style patch.
Yeah the muse can legit sound like a farfisa!
Im glad someone finally reintroduced the Jupiter 8.
If Roland ever revives that in its pure glory….🎉🎉🎉
So good I subbed. Dig the watch ,nice work. Jello of the LM
Thanks for the sub!
It’s a softer, tamer version of Jump. Might as well “Hop!”
😂
Subscribed, downloaded, and installed. Superb job, thanks!
