Eric is not by any chance a natural singer. He is a guitar player, one of the best in the world, and a songwriter. But his voice sounds so raw, unpolished and soothing. He was my dads favorite singer ever.
He's greatness, but he can't sing a stitch......nor does he know how to read music. Which is kind of fantastic, really. Guess what? Neither can I, but I'm not in the music industry.
Dani, Thank you for your reaction to Eric Clapton. The song, Wonderful tonight was so magical. The sound was like you were floating on a white and soft cloud. Eric's voice was smooth and soft, and together, everything was so amazing.
This song came out in my senior year of high school. There was no better slow dance then, or since. The dance floor would always fill up when this song was played.
In my opinion one of the best love songs ever written and it has something in common with several of the other best love songs ever written it's about Pattie Boyd
I’m in tears my wife just left me. And I can’t believe this is forreal.. Sorry but I love this song and me and daughter dance to it in the backyard (or atleast we used to)
A masterpiece!!! Eric was and is a musical genius of the highest order. From hard rock to easy listening he is at the top of his game And even tear jerkers, as Tears in Heaven demonstrates. Thank you Dani.
Nice reaction, Dani .. One of my favourite Eric Clapton songs .. So smooth and romantic, and as you said, so tender .. I was once in a covers band, and we did this song for the bridal dance at a wedding reception .. Thanks, Wayne
Eric is in my top 5 concert performances I have seen, he is a wonderful singer/songwriter. This is such a beautiful love song, and gets played at weddings and anniversary parties. I have a request for a Holiday song, I'd like to request you do a reaction to Home Frees cover of Do You Hear What I Hear, it is both vocally and visually stunning. Thank you, Dani.
Dani, thank you for reacting to this. I have the CD of this and I've always thought of my wife when I hear of it. Sadly she passed away 12 years ago, but hearing the song, I feel myself back in her presence. I've been a Clapton fan for over 50 years. This song is one of my favorites.
This is our song we met at a new yrs eve party we danced to this song and then later on a Pvt. event the same night if you get my drift lol.. i love you P.J.T. forever and always 43 yrs. and still going strong. Awesome reaction Dani enjoyed it very much.
Eric wrote this for his wife Pattie Boyd, a famous British model. Pattie met George Harrison when she had a small part in The Beatles movie A Hard Days Night. George wrote Something, I Need You, If I Needed Someone, For You Blue about Pattie. Eric fell in love with his good friends wife, and wanted her to leave George. He wrote Layla (Pattie) during this time. She eventually left George for Eric. Wonderful Tonight, and Bell Bottom Blues were both about her. There are a couple more Beatles song with her as the muse❤️❤️❤️
OMG. I can remember this love song. Yet I had forgotten it for a little while. And even though I am not a fan of Eric Clapton u can't help but love this song. Such a beautiful and emotional love song. It brings True romance between a man and his woman.
Hi! Thank you for the video! You haven't reacted to Diana Ankudinova for a long time. Diana participated in the Showmaskgoon program." Make reactions to songs from the show "I CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE", "Personal Jesus", "Crow" 🌞 🌞 🌞 I think you'll be surprised. 🌹 🌹 🌹 Thank you in advance

Dani thanks for this reaction. It brings back some great memories. One of my best friends in College made me a casette Tape with songs. She put this song on the Tape.
He wrote this about Patty Boyd while they were getting ready to go out for a party and she couldn't figure out what to wear and was taking long to get ready

Clapton wrote "Wonderful Tonight" while waiting for his girlfriend (and future wife) Pattie to get ready for a night out. At the time she was still married to George Harrison, yes THAT George Harrison!
Eric Clapton was waiting for the woman he was with to get ready to go out and Eric was getting getting irritated because she was taking so long so if im correct as he was sitting there waiting he was thinking about all of the things that made him care about her and how much he loved the woman he was with

I'm listening to a lot of these 'reactions' to one of my heroes. People presume that only his blues and all the drugs he had done were his 'tragedies' buy sadly he's create many more.
Greatest love song ever written. And Clapton is one of the top three guitarists of all time.

Your sad smile on the words "...how much I love you" pierces me, Dani:)

Yep Slowhand nailed it with this one.
You should really react to "Tears In Heaven" by Eric, truly an emotional song.
My favorite song from this album is "The Core", 8 minutes and 42 seconds, featuring Marcy Levy's vocals.
He wrote this about Patty Boyd while they were getting ready to go out for a party and she couldn't figure out what to wear and was taking long to get ready
