@@gianfalco8527 Dulce Pontes has a wonderful voice, and I thank you on behalf of all for having brought this beautiful version, but I prefer the original sung by Edda Dell'Orso, both for the quality of her voice and above all because (in my opinion) in this piece does not fit the lyrics, even if it works as a simple song in reality the vocal part makes sense especially if the voice is treated as a musical instrument, as Morricone had conceived it. I am Italian, born and raised in Rome and I work in the world of music and TV. You have to listen to "Gabriel's Oboe" in the same concert. In 2003 I met Maestro Morricone at his home in Rome for an interview at his home. And his wife wanted us to stay for lunch, and we stayed. It was one of the best experiences ever. We talked about everything but music. We talked about football (he was a fan of A.s. Roma like me), and many other nonsense. A Genius. Rip Maestro.

I was about to write a comment similar to yours, a real work of art, the movie, which fits perfectly with the work of art made by Morricone with his soundtrack

This is one of the main themes from the film “Cinema Paradiso” (1988) which is set in Italy. Morricone is a composer for films, and is well-known for his soundtracks for the films of Sergio Leone, among numerous others. He won Oscars, Grammys, the Grammy Hall of Fame, Golden Globes, BAFTAS and many other international awards. He died in Rome at age 91 in 2020.
It literally is a movie soundtrack. If you like to listen on some Morricone's masterpieces i suggest the whole soundtrack of The Legend of 1900 or Once Upon A Time In The West...but honestly, anything he has composed is a piece of art!
Great reaction and emotionally heartbreaking for me. One of the best movie soundtracks. I love the music of meastro Ennio Morricone. He did globally around 500 movie soundtracks. Wow. Btw, this music isn't necessarily just for the wealthy. Years ago (2015 or 2016) before Ennio died (RIP), I did go to a concert at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam along with a friend of me and we saw a variation of ages in the concert-hall. Just like my friend and me we also saw many other working class people (with normal salary and just saving some monthly income to afford these type of events/concerts). Maybe this type of music was for the wealthy people ages ago but nowadays there are many people interested in this and re-discovering it. Both young and old.
Ennio is one of the greatest of all times. Many rock artists loves him (Metallica, Bruce Springsteen and more) Absolutely legend! Try to hear "Gabriel's Oboe" or "The Ecstasy Of Gold" (in italian "L'Estasi dell'oro") or "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly".

I wasn't expecting this kind of music on your channel, well done! I guess many foreigners don't know ENNIO MORRICONE but I'm pretty sure they have already heard at least one of his compositions. He composed the motion picture soundtracks for globally awarder movies, I'm very proud to share my nationality with him. I suggest you to give a listen to Gabriel's Oboe, the main them from Mission, it will give you goosebumps. Really love your channel, your reactions are so authentic. Cheers from Italy!
Always fascinated me how two Italians, Leone and Morricone, lovers of the United States, with their works have told so well more than 100 years and more of American history
Can I just spend a couple of words to praise all the sound engineer around the world who never really get too much attention? I remember when I was a kid and I was trying to record a drumkit...I might have used 5-6 microphones and every channel bleeded into the next. Granted I had no idea what I was doing and I got a cheap crappy microphone set...I was pretty much set for failure. Looking at this video, there must be several dozens of microphones on that stage, and it must have been hell to set them up so perfectly. Surely everybody on that stage and those who worked for them are masters in their own craft, but it still amazes me how some recordings like this are so perfect.
This IS a movie sound track! "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" is an Italian movie that won several oscars several years ago... academy awards, BAFTA, golden globe etc...
You joke about trying to make you cry, the movie and in particular this song made so many people cry. I watched it the first time as a child in 92-93 and wow how much I cried. The music really touches you. Great reaction. Watch some of Morricone’s westerns soundtrack, The good the bad and the ugly, Once upon a time, etc
Thanks Angelo! Lovely reaction, Morricone's music is pure poetry.. at this point I can recommend something very special related to this! There's a very talented guy called Jacopo that uses to play his electric guitar on a rooftop facing piazza Navona, that is one of the most beautiful squares in Rome. Last year, during the very first heavy lock down in Italy, he played 'Deborah's theme' (to me the best of Morricone) while piazza navona was totally empty.. you can imagine how beautiful, touching and unreal it's been. Even newspaper here talked about his performance! Take a look bud if you can! Cheers mate
You have not lived until you have seen the greatest movie ever made, Cinema Paradiso. And when I say the greatest, understand I am passionate about everything -- people, music, food, travel, books, sports -- and I have no favorite for any of them because I love too many of each, but I have one exception: There is a greatest movie ever made and it is Cinema Paradiso. You owe it to yourself to watch it, and yes, Ennio Morricone composed music for the entire movie, and every song is masterpiece of the human heart. The score is the best of any movie -- but the movie is even better. Make sure you watch it in Italian with English subtitles.
The Pianist is Gilda Buttà the woman who play all the songs in The Legend of 1900 (the hands you see playing in the movie are not the hands of Tim Roth, by the hands of Gilda Buttà). P.S. There is a great difference between a pop musician and a composer like Morricone. Once a journalist asked to him how he get the inspiration and he answered "inspiration? When I have to write a song, I take a pentagram, a pen and I write". A composer writes the music like I'm writing this comment or an author write a lyric, knows the grammar, the semantic, the syntax and the Stylistic devices. A composer talk with his music.
I’m Italian, I love your channel so much! You’re one of my favorite youtubers. I’m a metalhead too but I love every type of music . Music is life🖤 can you do a reaction to Lacuna Coil? They’re a metal band from Italy and they’re very cool! Maybe you know them already. I suggest you listening to “Heaven’s a lie” (my favorite song by them) , “our truth” , “you love me cause I hate you” and their cover of “losing my religion” . 🖤🖤
There is a great version of Ennio Morricones "The good, the bad and the ugly" by the danish national symphony orchestra on UA-cam!!!!!!!!! This will blow you away!

Mad Ang. Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Oscar-winning New Paradise Cinema is the incredible cross-section of the history of cinema, the true characters of life, the passing of the history of cinema, penetrated by an impossible love, a film that can't help but make you cry. I've seen it several times and it's always like the first time. A film that takes you and breaks your heart, leaving a bad taste in the mouth of the past and of the many regrets. From shivers and tears. Impossible not to be captured and experience the film firsthand, and this incredible music makes you a prisoner with no way out.

You know ennio morricone’s music for sure because he made the iconic soundtracks of all the Sergio leone spaghetti western movies like the good the ugly and the bad (I think this is the right traduction) with Clint Eastwood... there are some parts of his music that have been sampled in a lot of modern song, you’ve heard them for sure, but you do not know who made them... he also won a lot of oscars for the soundtracks also a Oscar for the carrier

Ennio Morricone was one of the best composers of film soundtracks for which he received numerous Oscars
Morricone, we miss you
Grazie per avermelo fatto riascoltare. Meraviglioso...
due semplici strumenti creano emozioni e musica fantastica pulizia nel suono e professionalità
Not only music, but pure art!
He has always loved this pianist... Gilda Buttà
Thanks for this video..you are n.1👏👏👏
My city and the great, legendary Ennio Morricone..is magic. Grazie Maestro. R.I.P🇮🇹❤️
Cheers mate
Ennio Morricone you heve to listen all!!!! He was the best!!!!
You are gradually learning what is the Italian Genius.
Cinema Paradiso is a beautiful film about a cinema in a small Italian village and a romance through the decades. Worth a watch.
This song has such a fucking strong power. It gives me so much energy whit the same semplicity whit whic it makes me cry like a child.
Big love❤️
musica da brividi, una grande orchestra. sembra di essere in paradiso
This is a movie sound track. 😊😅😊
"Cinema paradiso"
Di Giuseppe Tornatore.
Won Oscar 1990
You should react to the ecstasy of Gold live in Venice
It is a movie soundtrack of the movie cinema paradiso. My absolute favourite movie of all time ❤
I’m Italian, I love your channel so much! 🖤🖤
Thank you, your comments are very smart and sensitive
Morricone the GOAT 😢❤️❤️
There is a great version of Ennio Morricones "The good, the bad and the ugly" by the danish national symphony orchestra on UA-cam!!!!!!!!! This will blow you away!
Mad you should absolutely watch once upon a time in America by sergio Leone. With joe pesci and robert de Niro.
And in my opinion the soundtrack of this movie is one of the best of Ennio.
Do you know that Morricone is the author of "the Good the Bad and the Ugly"? The spaghetti western..
He is quite famous, One of the greatest film music composer

I always cry when I hear this music ….
Ho i brividi👏👏👏
Che meraviglia , la universalità della musica
Mad Ang
Thanks for the Maestro Morricone! 🎥 The italian's OSCAR to the movie's Songs! Look the VIDEO of the Sergio Leone film western whit Clint Eastwood and the best Music of Morricone! Please 🙏 react to This's moments!
Everyone associates their own feeling in listening to a piece of music. Try watching the movie “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso” and you will understand. The feeling it conveys is nostalgia
The best! 👑👑👑 I always cry when I'm listening his music. Listen to "tema di Deborah",from "Once upon a time in America"...it will touch your heart! 💘💘💘
Ang you have to see the movie! Nuovo Cinema Paradiso!
A king of music, goose bumps
It is a movie sound track!!! By the way, Venice has nothing to do with the film.
