Super helpful video! Just replaced the starter on my F250xca... with your help! BUT, I'm getting 1 to 2 seconds of rapid clicking ahead of the engine turning over. Batteries are fully charged and check with a load tester. Checking all connections between the batteries and engine now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Remind me to never mess with a starter on an outboard--too much crap to move-I’d end up bustin something taking all that shit apart. Maybe all those extra video cables feed a newer system that has video at multiple points in the boat? Like lutron screens in a home automation system. They may begin to put screens at the bow seating areas and down in the cabin and stuff-
I think you could handle it. 😊 I am going to research the third rca tomorrow. That's the first time I have seen that. I would guess it's a video input. Always learning. Makes the job interesting for sure.
I have lost many tools in the water. Can't even count but I would say that my laptop was the worst. A few years ago it took a dive off the edge of the boat. 😆
Merci beaucoup ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice left handed repairs with the off hand. You make it look simple, though I know that can-buss work is not easy.
solid intel good work man ! THKS
Thank you and thanks for watching. I do appreciate it.

🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the detailed look at the starter swap. Have you run into the same issue with the V8 Yammies?
I have not had any starter issues with the V8 Yamaha. Just the known flywheel issue.
A lot of wires and stuff around that starter! 😅and you do everything with one hand 🤭
You know what I am talking about😉
@@JustinLeeMarine yes I do👍

"If you ground that, you're sparkin'" - LOL

How many parts and tools has Davy Jones claimed from you over the years? What was the most costly?

A one arm pro.!!
I'm just glad I didn't lose anything in the water😅
Find out what the third RCA was for?
Yes. It's a subwoofer output. Had to look at the manual.
