One additional thing... they sell foam crown molding for ceilings that now come with a strip for LEDs that go flat pointing up. So, get that recessed lighting look without seeing the LED spots at all. As they are foam, it makes it simple to go around the entire space for dirt cheap. AND its paintable to match the current wall color.
Depends on the color of your walls, but my walls are light grey and I used white thumbtacks. You don't push them thru the strip, but instead just below it. so the pin is just below the strip and the north half of the thumbtack head rests against the strip. I did this every 24 inches or so so it looks patterned. I did this because after a while, heat and cold temps and gravity take a toll on the adhesive, so to avoid slippage. Works like a charm.
i also am stuck on white i just got these for christmas was working fine until it stopped showing colors when i try to pair my app reads the device but when i do the colors it doesn’t change just solid white and some tan color

Also... to be able to tell Google to set room or have just the TV section light up, leaving the other lights off or vice versa, that level of control is boss.
Ohhh the Light Strips do stick to the wall. It's my cable cover the thing that hides the cables, it's not sticky enough I guess because I have too many cables in it lol.
My button don’t work so I never got a chance to connect or use the Blue tooth
I recently picked one of these up. 18 bucks. 2 hours later i got it hung up,stuck at pairing issues
This installation video was so fire, I hear a smoke detector every time I play it! 🤣

Nice video! Just got these myself. Hope you changed that smoke detector battery already.
Why won’t my led stick to my walls
You might have peeled the sticky stuff off it’s only a really thin blue pice of plastic like what comes on the phone screen not the white part to
Or you can use the nail things
