hi friends 🙋🏻♂I would love to hear your thoughts on this style of video! these dogs just genuinely enjoying filming so much, then jump up as soon as they see the camera... okay maybe just frankie does but still
Any of your content is great to me It's always so beautiful to see you guys in the forest When I'm older, I'll take my dog( or dogs ) on hiking adventures ❤
I like this style of video a lot. They dogs' personalities are different, but like you said, Frankie brings Indi out of her shell. There is a special kind of patience to be an Aussie parent. 😂
im struggling with this, this saying always hit home with me and i posted it every year for my dog banjos bday. He was only with me for 10 short years and he left me 9 months ago. I have never felt such grief and he was my 3rd golden retriever in my life. It may have been that it was just me and him for 5-6 years before meeting my wife. Fast forward to today and i have a new golden that is 7 months old. I have had him for about 4 or 5 months, and i still cant get over banjo, it is so apparent to me this new dog is not him and i don't know what i was expecting but they couldn't be more different and it makes me miss him that much more. Yeti my new golden is a good dog, he is a little high strung but he is 7 months old. I have worked hard with him on training and doing everything right and how im supposed to. I just miss Banjo so much i feel like i am incapable of loving yeti. i feel like a terrible person.
@@jimdye7431 Had a Aussie/Lab mix from an unwanted litter for 14 years. She died 4 years ago. Said I'd never get another. But one month after her death, I was online searching for another Aussie/Lab mix from an unwanted litter, as I felt so lonely. Found a litter, 4 hours away. Went to check out the litter and found a little guy that passed my puppy personality test. My new guy was indeed so much different than my past girl. Nevertheless, I treated this new little guy as a being with his own personality and traits. In some ways, he's better than my past girl, in other ways, he is not. But, he is a unique individual who loves me and I love him. Love the time with your new dog, treat him right, and he will love you. Embrace his differences. As for your past dog, Banjo, don't focus upon his death, focus upon the great times you had with him. Then focus upon the great times you can have with you new pup and his uniqueness. There is not a day that goes by that I don't remember my ol' girl, but I love every moment with my present guy. It is OK to still have love Banjo and now love Yeti. It is not betrayal. To everything there is a season...remember and love what was, yet love and embrace what is!
My Aussie just crossed the rainbow bridge at 20. He was my last service dog. I can't afford to care for another. I don't know how to live without my soulmate. Your vids make the pain less. Thank you for all your hard work on them.
I got my puppy for 4 weeks now. The third night I was laying in bed, just crying because I thought I made a mistake by getting her. I imagined a puppy would be much easier than it is. After a week, I really got to know her body language and began to understand what she wanted. Now it's a whole different world and I love the girl.
yes! i felt the same way. my aussie is 10 weeks and i thought i made a mistake by getting him but truly as i learned his personality and still now, i thought how much he could be my best friend. he’s so intelligent, it amazes me.
I got my pup months before lock down. He is a reactive covid pup. And I love absolutely everything inch of this dog my my whole soul. But there are times when a reaction so bad has me thinking in my head I wish I didn’t have a dog. And it absolutely breaks my heart having these thoughts. But he is my first dog and I wouldn’t ever change him. Everyone needs to know that no matter what you are going through with your pup you are not alone.
You know, other than having 2 mini aussies, which I know can be a handful because I have one myself. I do appreciate you taking the time to set the camera and catch the walks, the lifestyle, the editing of it all and piecing it for us. I know you spend a lot of time on this and your pups so thanks. Your videos are one of the main reasons why i got my aussie named Loki!
This video really helps. My partner and I have a 1 and a half year old husky/border collie mutt, and I am a light sleeper. Last night our pup kept waking me up with her dramatics and I've just been really frustrated with her for it. But this video helps put in perspective how in the big picture I am really happy and proud of our dog, there is just days that suck sometimes.
My mini Aussie is just 4 years old to my 72. We are a happy team. There were times I wondered if I'd over estimated my ability to keep up, but he keeps me active. Fergus is the smartest and sweetest dog I've ever shared my life with. ❤
This video was perfectly timed for me. Today is the one year anniversary of getting my 18 month old blue merle mini Aussie (who looks like Frankie). He joined my 7 yo red tri female (who looks like Indie except bigger). Your video reminded me that although it has been a crazy year, it has been so AUSSome. Because my boy was rescued from a puppy mill, he is TERRIFIED of men, but watching your progress with Indie gives me hope. Thank you for all the sage advice you give, and for modeling a happy (yet realistic) life with two Aussies!
Patience patience patience. Your boyfriend needs to know that he is not the problem and neither is the dog. This is just something they need to work on together and it will get frustrating but I promise you guys will get there
I had dogs for much of my life, and though they can be a chore, they bring so much love. Totally worth it. I love the camera work, editing, and the music. It was fantastic.
It's a joyous & real video! I've had 3 full sized Aussies in my life. They bring such energy, empathy, and balance to our lives. Thank you for sharing your joys - brings back my memories of joy & clown shows with mine! I'm elderly now wish I had time for one more Aussie. Thank you Frankie & Indie for making me smile, laugh and tear up.
Excellent video! I do big dog rescue and have taken in dogs for 35 years. I currently have eight doggies, mostly Great Danes. All my dogs have sad stories, but now they are living the best life. Please don't give up on your dog or kick them to the curb. Many times there is not some like me to save them!
Just over a year ago, a stray puppy came into my life At the time, I wasn't mentally ready for another dog or a puppy, for that matter. But having a mom who loves animals kept him It was hard at first, I disliked him, especially when I noticed my dog acting different. He never had a puppy live with him before and got sad losing that attention It broke my heart and made me hateful towards the new dog because he took my dog away from me.... But after telling myself it's not his fault, training him and my dog getting more and more used to having a new best friend and becoming himself again every day I wouldn't trade that stray for the world He came a long way. He sees me as his safety blanket He follows me around the house, he hides behind me during thunderstorms I'm happy to see him get more comfortable, not fearful of being on the bed (I'm assuming wheteever he came from, he was abused) I'm also happy to see my dog get along with the new dog Playing every day, sleeping together It took time I think it's okay to have those moments of regret because after you sit down and think, you realize how special they truly are and learn to be better in a way I don't know what I'm saying, but that's my experience
I have two resident dogs and now two more strays (same litter). I am going insane but hoping they chill out soon! Where I live there is a serious problem with neglect, dumping, and over filled shelters. So I know I am going to keep them and hoping they will be happy and well behaved !
I honestly never regretted getting my dog. But for me, the puppy stage was the worst (smooth collie). Past that, I think my dog is actually cuter now (in behavior at least) than he was as a pup! He definitely is a lot more affectionate and friendly. He has adapted to me, and I have adapted to him.
I am currently going through puppy phase (10 weeks old now) and while I have a lot of times where I am so over the moon happy with my dog, other times I feel like I literally am the worst person and will never be able to socialize and train him to be a respectable member of society. It is a weird roller coaster for sure and it is really motivating to hear from other people who have gotten past this part.
@@bailey.in.alignmentJust wanted to say, same here! I've had dogs before, but my new puppy (now six months) came with all the bad habits in the book (not to mention, being very headstrong and easily distracted). I sprained my wrist and shoulder from her bolting at squirrels, have been scolded by passersby seeing her have a temper tantrum while I trained her, and I couldn't leave my house for four weeks due to her extreme separation anxiety. I regretted getting her. I think it's a normal response to all this. It just ends up messing with your mental health, you know. I honestly still regret sometimes, because no matter how I switch up the training I always end up hitting a wall and it's tiring. But I try to follow frustrating moments with fun ones so I don't let the frustration ruin my relationship with her. She's here to stay, so I have to cope with the bad times until they go away!
@@bailey.in.alignment Keep at it! When it is at its worst it can be a lot. But in retrospect that stage is over in a flash. Some people find adolescence/puberty years the worst. But for me personally, it is the puppy stage no question. I would go as far as to say that if I did not know I would get an adult dog for many years afterwards, I would not put up with the puppy stage. I have gone through it a number of times now and as cute as they are, to me it is always terrible. But it gets better.
@@mannycalavera2335this was just what I needed to hear. I also have a 10 week old puppy. I'm experienced with dogs, but never a puppy. When did it get easier for you?
Love love love the video, the pace, the chill, the chat. The music makes me want an awesome coffee or an Old Fashioned depending on time of day. Thank you for putting the music link on the video. But bottom line, me and my family love seeing you two and the pups. We liked those little opening shots of them sitting, snoozing, looking at the camera. Great messages and insights as well Joey. We all appreciate you. House is looking great, too.
ahhh couldn't be better timing. I woke up kind of annoyed that the dogo's wanted to ago out so early but I got up anyway and this makes me so happy that I did. You and franko are the reason why I got an Aussie and wanting that beautiful relationship. thank you to your family! we love the little lady and franko!!
I celebrate my two year anniversary with my 10 year old standard aussie in November. While I grew up with dogs my whole life, he’s the first one that’s been all mine. Your videos helped me out a lot back then and continue to remind me why this breed is so special and incomparable!
Thank you so much for this video, i needed this. It's not always easy but we love them so so much and are our best friends. I really enjoy your videos and editing. Everything is always really helpful and amazingly nice to watch. To be honest i always keep an eye out so that i don't miss any of your amazing videos ! Take all care !
This video really touched me. I don't have a dog right now, but it's one of my dreams, and I get myself thinking about regret all the time. It seems that when we are adults, things change drastically because all the things we do are at least a little based on rational thoughts and real-life issues. I mean, when we are kids, we get so excited when we get a puppy or a kitten that nothing else matters; we don't think about who is gonna feed or walk them, who is gonna clean the pop, etc. When we are adults, everything changes, and we take actions rationally. And worse than that, we can't be 100% sure that this new dog will fit our expectations (it probably won't). I've been fostering a litter of kittens and the momma for a month now, and it's weird to admit that it's not being as great as I thought. The momma doesn't trust me. She's so afraid of everything and hisses at me every time I enter the room to check how things are going. At first, I got really sad, but now I understand it's not her fault, it's mine. I got a picture in my mind, and reality was different. Things are not always the way we plan, and that's fine, that's real life
10 months after adopting my 2 year old dog i still feel i regret it and we would both be better off without each other. I am gone from work 47 hours a week. I have chronic fatigue and depression. He often sits hime alone bored for 9 hours (not daily). He is very needy and doesnt listen. I dont have the energy or will to even train him. I should return him to the rescue woman but...its hard. I am attached to him yet almost daily i wish i didnt have this responsibility...
I started watching your videos in August after getting my little Aussie friend, it's been two months with him and I know I have a lot left, but there have already been hard moments and also great ones. Your videos, including this one, have helped me a lot, So thanks. Greetings from Spain!
just wanna say that i watched your content and it helped me come to the decision to get an aussie. i got him as a puppy and now he's almost 3 years old, it's kinda crazy. i remember early on it was certainly an adjustment having him around, but i certainly couldn't imagine life without him.
I enjoy these videos, and really like your reflections and your honesty. Though all of my Aussies have been rescues (so I never went through a puppy phase) my now almost 10 yr old still has not slowed down one bit. He does come from a working line, so he does run and "herd" non stop. And yes, he is still a holy terror~!
I'm loving to watch all your content and the adventures of Frankie & Little Lady! I've been wanting to acquire a mini aussie for a year now and there are great opportunities where I live to take them on hikes and walks as we are surrounded by mountains, lakes, and rivers just near us. Despite wanting a mini aussie so badly I have always felt a little bad since there are many dogs ready to be adopted that deserve so much love, but I really appreciated your words about "I don't care how you get your dog, just that you love it" - it made me smile as I know it is the right thing for me eventually :)
Got my first dog this summer, a very sweet and gentle border collie, but I am dreading his adolescence a little bit. I love him, but sometimes I feel like I don't give him enough because I want everything from my end to be perfect because he deserves that, and it makes me sad when I fail at that task. Even though I know it's not possible for everything to be perfect. I do feel a bit more reassured after this video though, instead of those "facts" videos that doesn't really speak from the heart. Well timed for me to find this now, thank you for making it. You have two very beautiful dogs
Beautiful pups. I love yours from afar. I have two of my own, a pocket pittie and small lab mix. They’re my babies for sure, I want another so bad. Thank you for making this 💜
I have a 4 yr old Male Mini Aussie, what an amazing dog. You really need to understand the breed and what they require. He is my best buddy and so loyal. He does require lots of exercise as you know and attention but wouldn't trade it for the world. Unfortunately, my other dog, a rescue died this past November. Thinking about getting another dog but not right away, raising the Mini Aussie was lots of work and want to make the right decision going forward.
I have a 10yr old mini aussie and two Aussie/Border Collie rescues. People often get frustrated that we leave early or don't take long trips, but my furbabies come 1st. They are #1 for us. My boy is my heart dog, my first Aussie, and went through one hell of a puppy phase. 1000% correct on the first two years. But man, he's my bestfriend, the keeper of all my secrets, my shoulder to cry on, and my ride or die. I honestly don't know how I could have handled the last 10 years without him.
Yay! a new video! Its always awesome to see Frankie and Indie so happy! The relationship you have with them is the reason I got an australian shepard 9 months ago. It has not been an easy task but on those difficult days I just look into his eyes and realize how lucky I am to have a best friend like him. I hope in return to be able to be as good of a friend as he is! By the way, the cinematography is beautiful and the shots are very detailed! Thank you for continuing to share your life with them :)
it took me 2 years straight of being "stern" with Frankie, bascially just always training to get where we are now and I am so thankful i did. You are going to have an amazing aussie
Definitely having a home with a doggie door makes raising a dog much easier. I only have a 5 month old lab mix puppy and it's stressful, but then again, I also had to share helping my wife teach her adult siblings with high functioning special needs too for close to 2 years.
the first 2 weeks were pure agony with our pup. I felt so tired, sleep deprived, and annoyed. now he's been with us for a month and it's so much easier. I've got to know him and he learned my boundaries us well.
❤I agree.....my life also changed after I got a dog and I've had it for 8 years Great love between us, but everyone who wants a dog should know that having a dog is a big obligation
I'm getting a Boykin spaniel next year (first dog) after owning a horse for 7 years but finically could no longer own one. I really did my research and found why I am so drawn to dogs. The training, the daily one sided conversations, the opportunities for a more human like understanding. I know I will be frustrated and upset at times, but owning a dog will be one of the most purposeful times in my life I am sure.
The first two months was the hardest with our Charlie; we almost returned him to the breeder. So glad we didn't. He has so much love and is so goofy! And he definitely gives too many kisses and nose boops!
My niece got an Aussie for her first time dog, and she has 2 smaller children. The dog nips the kids. Well, an Aussie for a first time dog with kids, that is not easy. But, she really loves that dog, so in the end, I am praying it will work out for her. It really is a good dog, it just needs time. When I was a kid we had a cow dog, and it liked to herd and nip us kids too, back then we never thought anything of it.
I have a 1 yr old Blue Merle mini Aussie, and HER name is Frankie! I really enjoy your videos, and think your Frankie is wonderful, so I got my own! Lol Anyway, I do not regret a moment…we did get her from a very reputable breeder, and she is the best thing that has every happened for my hubby and I! Yes, the puppy thing is hard work, but worth it. She is super smart…we adore our Frankie❤ Love the fact that Indy has come around for you!😊
Yes you are a lucky to have such a wonderful family, just know they are happy and loving because you are .I am an old man, retired and disabled but sometimes when I see your vedios I want to cry because your vedio makes me happy. Thank you for posting.
Love your videos! You’re the one who inspired me to get my rescue Aussie Luna who i’ve had for two years now and i’ve learned so many things from watching your videos and have bought so many helpful products based off your suggestions like the zee dog hands free leash (amazing), the silicone dog tag and the RC harness! So far i’ve loved everything you’ve recommended, would you consider making a video of all your favorite and most helpful dog accessories?
I wished more ppl would make vids about the ‚bad‘ parts of having a dog. Everybody keept telling me about going for a walk 3 times a day is soooo much work - it’s my favorite part. Cause that’s the time my dog wont keep crying constantly because she hears other people in the building. Because that’s when I can just relaxe, is not having a dog around me who wants 24/7 to do something really exiting and if not, shes barking or noseboobing me or biting my trousers or blanked. And she is well trained, very proud of her. But also, she’s a dog. I wanted a dog who is sleeping when getting home after a 1 hour walking tour. But she’s 1 year so I guess it will all pass by and someday I can enjoy being around her in the house
dogs are angels from heaven a true blessing people just need to stop giving up on them and commit to them through the good and bad days for the rest of the dogs life
How could you possibly regret having an Aussie ? I had 2 big males one was a puppy the other was a rescue. They were my best friends with me for about 15 years, I miss them both painfully every day. You are lucky to have them ,love them and take great care of them because you don't have them forever and you will miss them when they are gone and I'm sorry to say some day they will be gone...much love to you and your pack, thank you for posting.
I don't regret getting my baby girl - I do regret getting her before I moved out of my parents'. They directly interfered with her training and called me mean for just having a structured day with rules.... Now they complain that she doesn't listen to them or stays still 😂. They're a ton of work to train and while I was ready for her, they were not. It will be fine when we adjust to a new place but she went from quiet in the kennel when I had to focus on work to putting things in her mouth that she's not supposed to in order to get my attention when I need to focus. We'll get there and I adore her but some days can be frustrating with deadlines looming
I have pneumonia and Gypsy hasn't been on a good walk in 5 days. She whined all day. I tried everything I could. Feeling like crap and coughing up a lung I still tried to do something. I finally just sat down and cried. I felt like she diserved better and I'm keeping her from a better life. Later, I realized she wasn't wanting to go for a walk at all. she was tring to tell me something. I passed out later because my fever got to high. Gypsy knew something was wrong. She barked at my mom when she came in and started running into the back room, still barking. She never greats mom like that. She found me and got me to the hospital. I insisted on coming home because I knew how scared she must be. Broke my heart, I scared her. I got home, and she's been snuggled up next to me all day. She doesn't leave my side other than run to get mom if I start coughing a lot. Best nurse ever❤
Got my first mini Australian shepherd 01.02.2021. Her name is Indigo. Indigo is 100% death but very alert and very smart. She is my emotional support baby and we look out for each other. I just turned age 70 and Indigo turns five End of April 2024. Just hope I out live her. Wouldn't want her in another home. She was re homed to me when she was a little over a year 1/2. indigo took it really hard when she realized she would not be returning to her 1st home. She cried in her sleep at night quit a lot. Would wake her her to clam her down and laid next to her. She came from an already made family. Parents said they did have time for her. Parents and four little girls. She loves children a lot. Texas/USA🇺🇸
I prefer to call them Mini American Shepherds. Both the mini and the standard originated in the good ol' US of A. My Eli is " 'Mercan" and we're both proud of it! I definitely had to get creative when he was a pup, he's 6 now, his energy level was soooo much higher than any other breed I'd ever had (from St. Bernards to Pomeranians including a coyote hybrid, I'm old so there's been quite a few) so he caused me to step out of my box, get creative and think, something I really needed since I'd been recently widowed. Dogs are such an amazing gift of creation.
This is an excellent video in all ways! Did you get a new camera? because the quality of the video is amazingly crisp and clear. What happened to result in all those injuries you mention?
This is the same camera, just some different settings! I am so happy to hear that they worked. In result to those injuries, I stopped playing sports and diagnosed with a lot of mental illness lol
The only regret I have about getting my fur baby is knowing he won’t be with me as long as I’d like. I cry about that and he’s only a year and 6 months. I never felt this type of love before… and his outgoing personality has really changed my hermit life. Best decision I ever made 🥰
I did all the research I could and begged my parents for a dog during Covid. I was surprised with TWO AUSSIE PUPPIES (as a 12/13 year old that had no prior experience with high energy dogs) and their two personalities are a handful and a tablespoon. I was bawling my eyes out and I love them so much but there are times when I question whether I should have told my parents I couldn’t handle two or just gotten a cat or no pet at all. My mental health has declined and sometimes I just want to do nothing (which is not a phrase they understand). I often can’t hype myself up to go outside and throw the ball. I get frustrated a lot and I my mom never ceases to remind me that I’m the worst for not playing with them as often as I used to. I half agree with her in that they deserve a constantly happy owner but I still take care of them, train them, and share snacks with them. I just feel overwhelmed much of the time. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips?
I am in the position. My aussie is 10 weeks and I feel so overwhelmed and most times just want to be alone. I feed him, take him outside, and such. But the playing just makes me withdraw.
i was regretting getting a dog, then right after we finally got along and i started enjoying the fruits of all the training, he got really sick from a tick bite and died a puppy at 10 months old. appreciate your dogs guys.
They both look so much like my beautiful Scout. He’s a HuskyAussie mix. Puppyhood nightmare! Will never love another dog the same. ❤ My daughter brought Scout home at 16. Now they’re all “grown up” and he moved in with his Sis at their new house and big fenced yard. AH for 2-3 years is exactly right 😂
Oh boy, I head a border collie and its a nightmare. I had a dog in the past that I took in as a puppy, so I brought him up and the bond that we had was enormous and we loved each other to bits. The dog that I have now - I took him from the streets and he is an adult and he doesn't care about me and doesn't listen to me and I can't train him etc. To be honest its a nightmare. I really regret taking in an adult dog. I never thought that I can say something like this but it is what it is
I have a mini and a standard Aussi. The get along great, and I love having them. Have you ever spoken with someone with 3? No one in my area has three dogs. Many have 2, but none have 3.
I adopted 2 ferrel kittiens , 6months apart . I had just lost my 2 cats due to old age 19yr old and my 20yr old . I knew at the shelter he would be very difficult, being ferrel , no one wanted to adopt him. It was hardest 6months w a pet . He was wild , hissy and would bite , all fierce 3lbs of him 🐈⬛️ . Here we are 13yrs later and his a fat, LAP cat 🐈⬛️ , so mellow and very sweet . He still shy of strangers but a doll to me ❤️.
Absolutely love Aussies! I’ve had 2 border collie/Aussie mixes. Loved them so much! Brilliant wonderful dogs! Both have passed on. 😞😞 Currently I have an awesome golden retriever…. Dogs rule!
My brother wanted a dog so I bought him one for his 30th birthday. 4 years later he asked if I could take the dog back. He said he was a burden and was holding him back from doing things. I gladly took the dog because I loved him and felt bad that my brother would just toss him away.
If only those little things were the reason for my regret... my rescue dog has become so problematic over time. Despite putting so much money, time and effort in our lifes are just not compatible and neither of us can be happy or relaxed now... SO PLEASE really think about getting a dog. It is SUCH a huge responsibility and it is truly making me miserable now
I rescued my furbaby 9 years ago. He was a 9 month old abandoned puppy. The rescue agency found him under a trailer, at a farm with several other emaciated puppies. He was terrified of his own shadow, he threw up in the car due to fear. He was afraid to go up and down the stairs. Watching him grow from a terrified starving pup to the dog he is today is the most fulfilling thing I have done. I don't have children, he is my child lol. He loves the stairs now, and he can sit in the car without blinking an eye. He is my velcro dog, he knows when I am sad and he is there for me on my down days. Although the patience and training took years. I wouldn't trade him for the world. The regret lasts a moment, on a single day of the week where your new pup might chew a controller or steal a banana off the counter. You will long forget about those days because the more time you put into your pup, the better it gets and the more rewarding the emotional connection becomes. He is now 10 years old and I know I don't have many years left. There are no regrets.
I don’t regret my two dogs. 1 a cocker x beagle and the other a cocker spaniel who is only just 4 months. Despite my research I have been unprepared for the puppy phase. Toby my cocker x beagle was a rescue and I’m now convinced was the easier of the two. My patience with the pair of them has been tested, but they are going nowhere.
Thinking back to adopting Niles, it was not our intent. After we had lost our previous dog, our family decided on not adopting any more. Niles was in our lives less than a week later. Lab/Neuphie Cross, and, thankfully just a big Lab. Not a full blown Neuphie.

Thank you for all your hard work on them.
sending love & franko kisses
The love for your pet never dies ❤ Maybe you could foster some dogs ❤️Xx
A dog isn’t your soulmate 🤨 that’s a super weird thing to say.
Can relate completely understand where ur coming from was in the same boat
yes! i felt the same way. my aussie is 10 weeks and i thought i made a mistake by getting him but truly as i learned his personality and still now, i thought how much he could be my best friend. he’s so intelligent, it amazes me.
I really like how you remind us that dogs have their own personality. We tend to forget
This comment means a lot to me! thank you for noticing the little things
What a feel good vid. Just needed that. Reminds us of how much our dogs mean to us. They are family members who give so much more than they receive. 😊
glad you enjoyed it :)
This is just something they need to work on together and it will get frustrating but I promise you guys will get there
We can relate to that, but every time I look at her, come home, walk and play with that four legged friend, I’m glad she’s in my life!
i love to hear it
Thank you for your vulnerability and sharing your heart
thanks for listening :)
I know how you feel. I have 2 mini Aussies too. 3 and 2 years old.
It was the best decision in my life.
Thanks so much for watching - frankie gives you loads of licks and indie gives you side out out of love haha
hugs@@FrankieToTheMoon 🤗
Excellent video! I do big dog rescue and have taken in dogs for 35 years. I currently have eight doggies, mostly Great Danes. All my dogs have sad stories, but now they are living the best life. Please don't give up on your dog or kick them to the curb. Many times there is not some like me to save them!
Just over a year ago, a stray puppy came into my life
At the time, I wasn't mentally ready for another dog or a puppy, for that matter. But having a mom who loves animals kept him
It was hard at first, I disliked him, especially when I noticed my dog acting different. He never had a puppy live with him before and got sad losing that attention
It broke my heart and made me hateful towards the new dog because he took my dog away from me....
But after telling myself it's not his fault, training him and my dog getting more and more used to having a new best friend and becoming himself again every day
I wouldn't trade that stray for the world
He came a long way. He sees me as his safety blanket
He follows me around the house, he hides behind me during thunderstorms
I'm happy to see him get more comfortable, not fearful of being on the bed (I'm assuming wheteever he came from, he was abused)
I'm also happy to see my dog get along with the new dog
Playing every day, sleeping together
It took time
I think it's okay to have those moments of regret because after you sit down and think, you realize how special they truly are and learn to be better in a way
I don't know what I'm saying, but that's my experience
It's hard work and you have good days and bad days with pups!
Thank god for a truthful video on You Tube.
I have two resident dogs and now two more strays (same litter). I am going insane but hoping they chill out soon! Where I live there is a serious problem with neglect, dumping, and over filled shelters. So I know I am going to keep them and hoping they will be happy and well behaved !
So inspirational! You have such a big heart. You’re lucky to have each other.
You are so kind
I feel like giving up my shiba , he is so annoying sometimes and also I have to wake up middle of the night etc
House is looking great, too.
thank you so much!
ahhh couldn't be better timing.
After owning this breed for the time i did, i don't think i would ever change
Things are not always the way we plan, and that's fine, that's real life
love this video style! its so fun to see you and your dogs throughout the day
10 months after adopting my 2 year old dog i still feel i regret it and we would both be better off without each other.
Your video editing skills are top notch. I thoroughly enjoy all of your uploads!
Ahhh this made my day! Thank you
Beautifully shot. Thank you for sharing your perspective
I love all your videos. You have a lovely style, are obviously kind and smart, and loving, and articulate. Thank you!
Thanks for your beautiful, real world, uplifting video….we need more of this!!
Dogs are amazing creatures
agreed
You guys are part of the reason I got my Charlie.
aw I’m sure Charlie is a happy pup to have you :)
And he definitely gives too many kisses and nose boops!
same, our dog is called charlie too :)
When I was a kid we had a cow dog, and it liked to herd and nip us kids too, back then we never thought anything of it.
ur niece might need a different breed of dog, they need something to herd
I can't wait. I am picking my Aussie up in about 2 weeks.
so so so excited for you!
This video was amazing. Much like all the other ones. I love you guys!
I've got two Aussies, also. Full of love and energy. I think it's great that you can walk to a travel and walk off leash.
I have a 1 yr old Blue Merle mini Aussie, and HER name is Frankie! I really enjoy your videos, and think your Frankie is wonderful, so I got my own! Lol
Anyway, I do not regret a moment…we did get her from a very reputable breeder, and she is the best thing that has every happened for my hubby and I!
Yes, the puppy thing is hard work, but worth it. She is super smart…we adore our Frankie❤
Love the fact that Indy has come around for you!😊
Yes you are a lucky to have such a wonderful family, just know they are happy and loving because you are .I am an old man, retired and disabled but sometimes when I see your vedios I want to cry because your vedio makes me happy. Thank you for posting.
I appreciate you watching lance - thank you so much
Love your videos!
That is awesome! A dog accessory video is a great idea :)
I’m almost 3 minutes and I have no idea what this video is about. But your cinematography is AMAZING! 🤷🏻♀️
haha thanks - I figured the title would give enough info what the video is about before I got to the meat of the subject
Love the video. Watching you with Frankie and Indy makes me smile! 💜
Great video i love my dog and im glad i never gave up on her it was the best thing for me dogs are amazing.
I have no regrets getting my dog she is the best dog ever i couldn't live without her
I have pneumonia and Gypsy hasn't been on a good walk in 5 days.
Best nurse ever❤
this just brought tears to my eyes man we don't deserve dogs 🥹❤
@@JanaBanana96 they are Angels from heaven for sure.
No, I definitely regret getting a dog. I treat her excellently.
then why do you regret getting her?
This is an excellent video in all ways! Did you get a new camera? because the quality of the video is amazingly crisp and clear. What happened to result in all those injuries you mention?
This is the same camera, just some different settings! I am so happy to hear that they worked.
In result to those injuries, I stopped playing sports and diagnosed with a lot of mental illness lol
You know, There is a strong presence of the Divine in you that I sense. You are a remarkable human being.@@FrankieToTheMoon
The only regret I have about getting my fur baby is knowing he won’t be with me as long as I’d like. I cry about that and he’s only a year and 6 months. I never felt this type of love before… and his outgoing personality has really changed my hermit life. Best decision I ever made 🥰
Indy has come so far!
More videos please.. longer ones too. I prep up in the morning while watching your videos
That is awesome! I feel like I can't guarantee length cause my goal is just make a good video each time - but i wil definitely try. Any video ideas?
Dogs are the best! Your intent will transfer to them and they just want to be your best friend.
i was regretting getting a dog, then right after we finally got along and i started enjoying the fruits of all the training, he got really sick from a tick bite and died a puppy at 10 months old. appreciate your dogs guys.
They both look so much like my beautiful Scout. He’s a HuskyAussie mix. Puppyhood nightmare! Will never love another dog the same. ❤
My daughter brought Scout home at 16. Now they’re all “grown up” and he moved in with his Sis at their new house and big fenced yard. AH for 2-3 years is exactly right 😂
Great Video Joey.
Glad you enjoyed it
Oh boy, I head a border collie and its a nightmare.
You"ll are you so cute! Very educational, thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful, video and message.
Stay fabulous
Thank you!
Absolutely love Aussies! I’ve had 2 border collie/Aussie mixes. Loved them so much! Brilliant wonderful dogs! Both have passed on. 😞😞
Currently I have an awesome golden retriever…. Dogs rule!
Such cuties!
It is SUCH a huge responsibility and it is truly making me miserable now
Omg we’ve missed Frankie!
What did you put on top of their food? I’m bringing home 2 mini Aussie puppies in a week!!
I give Frankie a little bit of kibble and raw food and then I put salmon oil on both of their food
@@FrankieToTheMoon thank you for your reply!
@@FrankieToTheMoon Awesome. I thought it was Water, to soften it if they were getting older.
Love how franky runs the stairs down when he hears the food 😂
that’s probably my favourite part of this video haha
Were there any problems training them? I heard that can be a stubborn breed.
Hi , can you please tell us what you feed them , I see paws bag but you add wet food and something else
I do a little mix for crunch of RAWz kibble and Bold By Nature chicken raw food for Frankie. Just kibble for indie and salmon oil
I have a 16 year old YorkiePoo....I never made her do tricks. Would you make your friends do tricks, or your family?
How much do they both weigh? We have a girl "Rya" that isnt a mini, but of a smaller breed line and shes 32lbs at 10 months.
They haven't been weighed in a few months but Frankie is 39lbs and Indie is around 25lbs
@@FrankieToTheMoon That's Healthy.
How's the breeder mother dogs doing ??
Thinking back to adopting Niles, it was not our intent. After we had lost our previous dog, our family decided on not adopting any more. Niles was in our lives less than a week later. Lab/Neuphie Cross, and, thankfully just a big Lab. Not a full blown Neuphie.
Lots and lots of exercise makes a happy dog. 💖 If you only want a dog when it’s ‘cute’, DON’T get a dog.
He looks just like Andrew Garfield but sounds so much like hiccup from how to train a dragon now I cant unsee/hear it
I never regretted getting a dog but I was wondering what is the video about
This was an awesome video. ❤
